WARNING! SCAM! STAY AWAY!! Absolutely horrible!! This place is a scam! It’s been 9 months and they still haven’t shipped out my package! At first the company seemed to be decent and honest about things and asked many of us to wait patiently regarding our orders but eventually they stopped providing updates. They’ve asked people that are essential and first line workers to reach out to them and they would ship out those packages to them. However, when I reached out about being an essential employee, I was told something completely different. I’ve reached out a couple of times and each time they’ve responded very rudely and failed to provide an update. Supposedly we’re not able to request a refund either and must donate our order if we no longer want it. I’m still waiting for my order til this day. I’ll be filing a complaint with the federal trade commission!

1st a warning! EIO is doing business as Haus of Tools - the 2 are not connected on the BBB yet. This will be rectified shortly.I would urge all who read this to avoid this company.I purchased a tool bag on October 15th of this year. After a week of waiting, The seller never shipped the bag. I emailed seller on October 22nd and inquired what the problem was. They stated in an October 23rd email that they were waiting for more tool bags to come in. Ironically, the bag was shipped that same day. I never received that bag- even though the tracking number showed delivered. I inquired with FedEx and found out the bag was mis-addressed by the seller and mis-delivered. I tried to work with the seller to no avail- I had to file a claim with PayPal - the seller responded by labeling me a fraud and a liar in his PayPal response. I was unprepared for such unprofessional behavior. PayPal, of course, ruled in my favor, but this process was frustrating and took 2 months to receive a refund.

This company assured their customers that they would have stocks of the N95 masks and continuously took orders, even though they were aware that they did not have these masks to sell. They charged me even though these masks never shipped and were never there in the first place. When they finally revealed that they did not have these masks, I filed for a refund and they only gave back 90% of what I paid for, meaning that they took 10% from everyone who ordered from this company. This company is a fraud and I would not recommend to anyone.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! As with other reviewers, I placed an order for N95 masks back in February. I contacted EIO on multiple occasions as was continually told the items were on backorder. On August 6th, after waiting almost 6 months, I was told they were still on backorder and there were thousands of orders ahead of mine. I decided to cancel my order, and like others, were charged a 10% fee. Fortunately I had used Paypal Services, and through their dispute resolution center, I won my case for a full refund. This company is just another scam company taking advantage of the COVID 19 to take peoples money without providing the product.

Like others have posted. Terrible experience. I ordered masks 3 weeks ago and never heard about my order. I had to reach out to their customer service and was told they had no idea when my order would ship due to the mass amount of orders theyve received and it will ship eventually but they couldnt tell me when. I told them to cancel it and they said it was subject to a 10% restocking fee. Which was not a ton due to the low amount of my total order, but still seemed a low blow when I was cancelling due to the terrible experience with customer service and no ETA on when I would get the goods I ordered.

I would give them a 0 if I could!! I ordered masks from them and paid extra for it to be shipped in 2 days. A few days passed and the item wasnt shipped so I emailed them. They respond that there will be several weeks of delay and that Id only get my money back according to the cancellation policy (which means they take 10% of the money). By taking the extra money to ship the masks in two days, they definitely mislead me into thinking they have the masks in stock, which is a case of fraud. If you dont have the masks you shouldnt sell it. Period!

I placed an order and at the time of placing the order I was told that Id receive my item within a week. Three months and multiple inquiry emails later, I had not received my order. I cancelled the order and was charged a cancellation fee. This is a corrupt practice and is a scam. This company should be shutdown. For your own good, dont do business with this company.

I would caution anyone thinking about placing an order with EIO. I placed an order in early April and as of mid-May, they were still unable to fulfill my order - 1.5 months. They offered to cancel my order for me, and because I couldnt wait any longer, i cancelled the order with EIO and ordered elsewhere. However, they did not give me a full refund - they charged me a 10% cancellation fee...for an order THEY are unable to fulfill. They did site their cancellation policy, however its pretty bad costumer service to charge a cancellation fee for an order that they are not able to fulfill in a timely manner. (only gave a single star because no stars is not an option)

I bought N95 masks back on March of 2020 and it’s now September 5th 2020. I get that the inventory needed to go to hospitals but company will not offer any refund and jacked up their prices. They kept selling items they didn’t have. They later jacked up the prices and sent items to those people first.

I bought a tool from them on eBay and they were really easy to deal with. I looked them up and realized that they were close to my work so i contacted them and they let me come pick it up. The lady i met was so nice. They carry a lot of tools and stuff so next time I will come look and buy directly from them. I wish they had a showroom/storefront but this worked well.

I wish I could give a zero. This company is a scam. I ordered some face masks from their website which shows in stock. I waited 6 weeks for those masks and still have not received those masks. When I contact them, they assured me that I just need to wait for a couple of weeks. I decided to cancel the order and they charged me 112.5 dollars for processing fee because they have a policy that Orders that have requested a cancellation after the funds have been captured are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% on a case-by-case basis to help cover non-recoverable expenses incurred from processing your order. This policy has never been disclosed to me in my order confirmation letter. This has violated unfair trade practice. I am going to dispute this charge with them first and file a complaint to BBB. Stay away from this company.

This company does not have any mask in stock and they do not specify on their website that they are out of stock. They continue to take orders even though they do not have any masks in stock. They do not respond to any phone calls and their phone was always busy. I inquire about my order about 10 days later to find out as to where is my order and they responded its its backorder. I asked them to cancel the order as they did not stated that they are out of stock and could take weeks. So they are charging me fee to cancel the order which i never ever heard of it. They failed to notify the consumers that the items that they are ordering is not in stock and when you cancel the order then they charge you fee. This is not a great company to shop from. I will refute my charges with my credit card company.

Ive been contacting them, waiting, and now in September after calls and emails in May, July and now September- Im told the order is non-refundable and non cancellable. There was a delay in getting my order to Canada. They said it was customs or the postal strike up here, but I wish they would have gotten a for sure answer. If you said you send it, deliver it. The tools were good quality and I did get it. Good in the end I guess.

Also clearly said 2 day shipping on those items. 6 weeks later still not arrived. I emailed and they said items were on back order and that it clearly said so on their site. When I log back into their site site the same items I purchased are not even listed anymore and they have a banner at the very top of their page saying items may be on back order but was not there before. I ask for a refund and they kept 10%. Very deceptive And dishonest business practices!

Ordered some n95 masks the end of feb. Its now June 3rd, yesterday I asked for them to cancel my order because there was no update of any kind since April 2nd and who knows when the mask were coming in. The customer service team here pointed me in the right direction and I bought some Wera tools, a brand Id never heard of before. The insert in my order asked me to leave a review, so I am.I like to do soldering and found that EIO carries Velleman soldering kits at a good price. I placed an order for several and was pleased with the kits and the quality of the solder I bought from them. I will order from them again.

The only 5 star review is a fake review by an employee- this place will scam you please avoid at all costs; they list items they do not have in stock and even discontinued items as well. They print fake shipping labels to keep customers oblivious to the fact that they cant fulfill half the orders they receive. Also, DO NOT pay for any expedited shipping- they dont and cant honor it (due to no stock) and will give you the run-around if you try to ask for a refund for shipping. Also, if you try to ask to return something, regardless of the circumstances, they will not refund you the full amount. How this place is still in business is beyond me.

I had a great experience with EIOs customer service. I ordered the wrong tool for my car, and EIO customer service helped me find the right tool and helped me understand the difference between the tool I had ordered and the one I needed without making me feel stupid. They also helped me exchange the item for the right thing.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I had called about a package I was supposed to be getting, and the guy told me it would be at my house by the end of the day. It never showed up. I called the next day and the next guy said he’d have who I talked to a day before call me when he got back from his lunch break. I never received a phone call. I don’t know what kind of lunch breaks these guys take but, they are awful long ones. The only reason they’re getting one star is because I can’t give them a 0/5.

I called the other day and spoke with Jon. There was a special Bondhus Hex wrench I needed three of for work in the oil fields. I had ordered one that was sold by amazon and it was going to take a few months to get it. I needed it next week. So I called EIO and they not only could get the 3 pieces that I needed, theyre going to be here in less than a week. EIO really has some hard to find tools at good prices and quick shipping.

BEWARE - They asked me for more money after I completed the purchase to cover the cost of an employee pricing mistake. They told me they wouldnt make enough money on it if I didnt pay the additional money. They canceled my order when I wouldnt pay more than what was on my confirmation email.

FRAUD website, take payment, never ship out anything, bank said theres no time limit on the merchant respond time.

Not sure if this is the same place I ordered from and just reviewed, but whatever. Maybe theres a couple companies in this address...I ordered a Wiha 30298 on Amazon from these guys and realized I got the wrong one. I called to see if they knew the right one and the guy who answered the phone was kind of clueless and had to check with someone else for the one I wanted. I didnt really like paying the restocking fee for Amazon order, but I guess I understand, they did offer to give me a discount on my next order. Thats OK, I guess. First encounter with them, OK, theres room to improve, Ill give them another chance since they were nice when I talked to them and were interested in my repeat business and in helping me. Just wish the guy answering the phone knew more about tools.
