Parking a bit challenging but its their first day open look by back of the store . Prices are very reasonable and the level of quality of the products are quite high. Today they give you a free bag and cute little key chain, see the picture. You pack your own stuff after the cahiers big area overseeing the parking lot. Bathroom are available and just a nice change from your normal shopping experience. Its not that big so they use the space very well but come with patience and believe me you will buy here. I just came to look and walked out with 3 large full bags for $45.25. Amazing thank you Aldi.
There is a wide selection of items though few options for each thing. Many of the things are off-brand but a very good value for the item!! I would definitely stop by here first when looking for ingredients or new snacks. Everything is a decent if not great price. Customer Service is as it is with other general grocery stores. They do accept digital pay which is always great!! I would recommend using a cart solely as it makes checkout easier for you and the cashier. Another great thing is that they dont have plastic bags! There are paper bags available for 10 cents or a reusable bag for $1. You can of course use your own bags as well! Overall a great experience, not 5 stars just because though Ill find most of my needs it wont be all. Still far more affordable than the other stores in the area
After saying they are open when they are not for a while Aldi is finally open! They have a lot of groceries and I found items that I don’t find anywhere else. This Aldi is small and I am happy I did not come on a crowded day. If you plan on using a shopping cart than do not forget to bring a quarter with you. What I do not understand is why workers have to have forklifts and power jacks out on the floor. They blocked the customers who are shopping and the workers would constantly honk at the customers telling them to get out of the way.
Im so glad they opened a new Aldi in my neighborhood. Its my go to store for all my daily staples. The prices truly cant be beat! Its 5 stars but for the few premium items I need that they dont carry. Some of my top money saving items are: snacks, bacon, nuts, almond milk, cereal, eggs, rice and cheese. Check out is quick and the checkers are very helpful. ONE BIG BONUS... Electric car charging is FREE!
Very clean & neat. Limited number of selections, but about 1 of everything, pricing well marked & good. Is the perfect place for daily shoppers or small number of mouths to feed. Visited them in Europe, they are big there, looks like they have a good chance to make it here as well. Just remember to bring a quarter for a wagon, you can borrow one from the cashier if you dont have one, please be sure to give it back so they can continue this practice!
Have a quarter ready to get a rolling cart. Will get back when done shopping. Good parking, shopping experience. Shop regularly.
Any store that makes you pay a quarter to rent a shopping cart, even if you get the quarter back, is going to be a NO for me, dawg. I had a lot of hope for this place when they talked about opening. Granted, you will find a FEW things that are cheaper than other stores, but for the trouble, its worth it to just go across the street to VONS.
Sooo....great experience nice prices. It is a bag your own groceries type store and when returning your cart you have to connect it to the cart in front of you to get your .25 cent deposit. It is quite as tempting as a target.
Not what I expected, small, many off brands, small packaging, has a European feel to it. Prices arent too bad, .25 cents to grab a shopping cart, although there was an employee outside with quarters, you get the quarter back, when you return the cart. Staff were friendly and helpful. Produce seemed fresh.
I got a kick out of chatting with the people there. They showed us how the cards work its kind of interesting.. The selection is awesome its smelled so yummy inside. You know Ill be back again
Lots of free 2hour EV charging. Great prices and friendly staff. This is my go to ALDI now, its great for EV drivers.
The place is very clean and very organized. I wish they have more kitchen stuff, pretzels and more chocolates to choose from. Other than that Im very happy costumer. I love Aldis.
Very organized. The gentleman on the front door could have been more pleasant.
It was nice and well organized. It could be better if you would have like the onions and potatoes by weight not by bulk. Prices are reasonable.
Lovely store, big and beautiful with AWESOME PRICES. Customer service is trash tho, female cashier with the hand tattoo and glasses seemed rude. Didn’t say hi, and didn’t ask if the bags in my cart were pre purchased. She just charged me without asking, maybe she had a bad day but she could’ve asked. Now I feel unsure
Good food not sure if the shopping carts are for everyone 🤔Kind of a social experiment
Aldi is one of the most inexpensive grocery stores in Midwest, now in the South Bay Area. Check them out before going to the name brand stores.
Cleaned and organized, prices are very good. I loved the assorted cheese packaging.
This gives me the old supermarket feel. The aisles are wide, prices are reasonable and their ALDI brand merchandise is very comparable with major name brands.
First visit to Torrance location. Will not be my last. Wonderful store.
Large clean space parking plentiful reasonable pricing on most all products.
Great aldi! Very big and has lots of parking. The stuff they have is very affordable and it’s very clean inside!
VERY IMPORTANT: TAKE A QUARTER TO USE THEIR SHOPPING CART YOU WILL GET QUARTER BACK ONLY WHEN YOU RETURN CART . That forces everyone to return carts and not leave in parking.Very small portions in their packaging thats why sale prices. Not many brand name products. Really read your labels. On the plus side Aldi has a large counter for bagging your groceries and facility is clean for now.
I love this place. The prices are unbeatable!
I love Aldi! You can find everything you need and more! its fast and convenient I love this place I highly recommend this place so if you havent been to Aldi you must check it out!
Everyone here was extremely helpful without being over bearing. It’s awesome and I can’t wait to come back.
Really a nice place with wide aisles. Great prices and friendly staff
They got me at the lifetime customer the price ranges are good I paid a dollar for Corn Flakes
Amazing place, again shopper, price friendly. As new, not overcrowded in the isle.
Do not buy eggs from here they gave me food poisoning.
I am very familiar with the Aldi concept in Europe, which is why I was looking forward to this store opening. On opening day I went there and I should not have done so. No crowd control at the door, this in the middle of the Delta variant pandemic. The place was packed, people falling over each other, it did not help that some giant floor cleaner was circling around in the busiest section (produce). I was horribly disappointed. A lot of items had good prices but not all, there was a very limited variety, unless you are really into sugary breakfast cereal and random stuff. Sirloin steak was on sale, so I bought some; cooked it rare and served it. Congrats, Aldi, that was the toughest steak I had in oh- about 25 years? I wont be back any time soon. I noticed that another local guide said in and out in half an hour, same here, because there really was not a lot of stuff I was inclined to buy.
Thought I would check out this new store. Went to get a cart and found that they were all chained together with some stupid mechanism that requires a quarter to get a cart! What is this, LAX? I mean what store does this? Quarters? This isnt the 1980s.
Its an Aldis. A lot of prepackaged stuff some of its at a pretty good price, but during a pandemic it was disappointing to see staff not wear masks properly and and very overcrowded aisles...no crowd control. Gave it a second try a day later and staff, male staff, were again not wearing masks properly. After this visit I went to the nearby Vons and Ralphs where staff WAS taking the pandemic seriously. This is another place Ill wait to patronize until after this pandemic is done.
Excellent place to shop at the environment is great very neat clean store !
I Missed Aldi, so much! I used to visit the Downey location when I lived there. Now living in Torrance and am extremely happy that I get to shop Aldi again. I like the variety, different cultural foods, organic, fresh produce, things for the home, imported beers, imported wines, the list goes on. Thank you for opening!
Great new Aldi near me, Im so happy 😊
Not at all what I expected and the place is like an abandoned house. Its expensive . I dont know what all the hype is about...very disappointed
I love Aldi ! Fresh products, great customer service.
Very good price, cashier was very nice. On this day
Good prices but is crazy how much prices have went up in a short time since they been. Bananas have went up from 29 cents lb to 66 cents lb since theyve been open.
Cool market, cheap goods. Clean and new
Very clean supermarket. Definitely recommend
Brand spanking new, friendly employees, affordable, convenient and local.
Fresh food, excellent prices, loved the place
Clean, well organized, and with great prices on a wide variety of items. Whats not to like!?
Parking lot is beyond challenging and downright dangerous trying to return the cart back to store to get my quarter back. Next time, if there is a next time, I will forget about my quarter and leave the cart in the parking lot. They have limited selection and yogurt shelf was completely empty.
The store is immaculately clean.
Had to pay .25 for a grocery cart. But some good prices inside.
Great prices good selection
Great service, convenient location.
Very clean and SUPER friendly staff!
Update: YES! Finally ALDI in Torrance is open, and all is well. I loved Aldi in St. Louis and now Im glad to see an alternative for the overpriced grocery and warehouse stores in the South Bay.Today I got fresh veggies, fruit, meats, cheeses and organic foods...and spent less than in most other stores. Id say they offer reasonable prices on most grocery items in a small-ish warehouse store. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and checkout was a breeze. Store personnel were helpful, and the store was clean and well stocked. Worth checking out.P.S. Bring a quarter for a cart, which you get back when you return the cart. But dont worry if you dont have one. The store peeps will help.Prior Review: Under construction, or looks that way...as of 2/21/21. Wasted trip.
I appreciate the feed back that is closed because google says is I open.
Aldi seems to be all right they just opened up so well see if they raise our prices after people start getting used to go in there
Great prices, but employees are very condescending and patronizing. Ive shopped here three times, and have called it quits. Every time I attempted to ask a question or approach an employee, they behaved a like a toddler be asked to brush their teeth.
Today was the first time I went and I could not buy, I did not have the 25 cents for the car, which in my opinion is absurd
Exelent
Muy buen precio, fresco, limpio y ahí he agarrado excelentes ofertas
Big supermarket!
Very clean!
