Delicious traditional German food(and beer!) In a casual setting. Friendly service, and some outdoor seating. Everything served on disposable/to go paper and plastic ware.Delicious schnitzel, spätzel, and sauerkraut.Cute but mostly closed shops because of covid. Market has amazing selection of German and other Raritan and Russian goods.

A hidden gem. A hug selection of sausages and worst as well as cheese and other cured meats the grocery selection is mostly German but they carry many hard to find European goodies. There is a bakery as well. Great breads and sweets for dessert. With a bottle shop located towards the back of the store loaded with an amazing selection of European beer as well as wine and spirits. The staff there are extremely helpful courteous and friendly. I definitely recommend stopping by and grab some sausages, great for bbqs.

Very disappointed that they did not make their German Plum Cake this year. It is only seasonal so I was looking fwd to having it. They must have new bakers again.Otherwise would of gotten 5 stars as I love all the other aspects of the market the rye bread, meat salad, deli meats, sausages, liverwurst, to the groceries aisles. Just first year the bakery disappointed and did not make their best selling seasonal German Plum Cake in a long time.

I been going here since I was a kid. From my understanding Alpine Village had a beer hall and it was a place to go for events. There are many shops still open but not many people visit them. It is still worth going to the village part. There are few gift shops a clock store that of course sells cuckoo clocks and a shoe store. There are other things on the premises like a dentist any travel agency but the village sort of looks like a town in the Alps. The Market sells things from Germany and many other European countries theres also a meat counter that sells all sorts of cold cuts sasauges and cheeses. The Cafe is open again but closes at 3:00 p.m. the food is traditional European style. I would definitely recommend visiting Alpine Market and explore the premises of the town.

One of my favorite places in the South Bay. Fantastic selection of imported European gummies in the shop, and a very yummy cafe. Youll get one fewer side, but the roll they use is amazing.

Its always a pleasure coming to Alpine Village. This was the first time as a date and to dine in the main restaurant was amazing. We came at an off time for a late lunch early dinner only one other party was there, pretty much had the place to ourselves. After our meal and beers we went to walk around the village to see the shops. Most of them were closed, however window shopping never hurt anyone. We love it and will come back for more food.

The deli, the bakery and the beer sections are my favorites. I come here on a weekly basis for our weeks worth of fresh sliced cheeses and sandwich meats and none of my selections have let me down as of yet. Additionally the deli offers fresh made sausages of all meats and flavors, their spicy chicken is a huge hit at home. The bakery had a huge selection of bite sized cookies and pastries at a reasonable $11.95 a pound, similar to Whole Foods, etc. - try the butter pecan cookies YUM! As for the beer section, its varied and there is a good range of light to farm beers, something for every taste. Every week I grab a six pack for us and do far weve not had a miss!
