This Korean market is one of my favorite places to shop. Their produce is of such high quality and reasonably priced. The seafood section has tanks of live crabs and lovely fresh fish. Believe it or not, this and the meat section smell so clean, totally unlike other stores. They have a good selection of freshly made kimbap and other side dishes. So delicious. If you like your snacks, you cant find a better place to shop as their prices are the best!

I came here, looking for some Korean sauces, after going to multiple other places and not finding what I needed. The produce here wasnt the freshest, as I had seen better in other stores, but was still acceptable. The store was cramped, and there was little social distancing, due to the narrow aisles. They due have a somewhat wide range of products, although places such as H-Mart contain perhaps double the products. The meat/seafood/poultry here is fresh, and they offer a selection of pre-marinated meats that just need to be cooked. The store is not that clean, and is a bit run down, appearing not to be upkept and remodeled in quite some time. The staff dont seem to be too aware of what theyre doing, and not that helpful. I would only suggest coming here if you need too, but there are clearly much better stores around than this one.Overall Rating- 3.5 stars

Was nice korean grocery store... lot to pick from and staffs were friendly... bit clutter in certain areas but over all it was good.

Go-to spot for korean and asian-in-general groceries. very good snack aisle. not very many people speak english, but then again not much communication is needed to buy groceries, unless you have questions (or cant understand bad korean translations)

Its on the smaller side, but they have a pretty good range of (mostly Korean) essentials at fairly reasonable prices.The only really bad thing is their produce is like 3rd or 4th hand, you really have to pick through fruit to find undamaged ones.Oh and sometimes the cashiers can be a bit cold and impersonal so keep an eye on your fragile items.

I have shopped at a lot of Korean stores. This particular store seems as if everything is crammed into the area. Gave it sort of a gray disposition.

Large Korean market with great fresh vege and fruit. Ill often wander the section and figure out what Im cooking for dinner by what looks inspiring in the produce area. They also have a lot of good meat and fish, including Korean marinated meats.

Best deals for asian products. Even everyday groceries are cheaper! Tray of 20 eggs reg price of 2.99, sometimes goes on sale for 1.99. Very friendly staff.

Vegetables and fruits are not fresh at all. Even frozen Seafood have unknown products. Beef and pork that Hannam chains selling with its brand have too much fat and brown. So disappointing products!! Manager denied returning one products that was never open. Even Hmart and S mart accept returns. When you buy something here, be sure with expired date and freshness. Please buy less then you dont need to waste your money for low quality products here.

Staff at the counter was very rude. She was tapping the card machine when a lady was looking for her wallet in a bag. It seams like the staff doesn’t speak english well. Please be kind to your customer.

This store really has no excuse for their incredibly poor produce quality, especially the leafy vegetables. They are yellow around the edges, dry, dirty, and damaged. Meat selections are inferior to other Korean markets as well.

My mom always came here ever since I was a baby. I remember coming here for chips and crackers. And of course like S.Mart, there is a fish and meat market. Finally, before Covid-19 they used to serve free samples.

Produce quality is somewhere between farmers market and big name chain, but can be hit or miss. Good selection of essential Korean cooking ingredients. If you cant find all the ingredients for what you want to make you will find what to want already made to go.

Excellent place to get brisket, short rib, rib eye etc. Also, if youre looking for Asian dressings or seasonings, its going to be at least 70% cheaper here than if you got the same thing from an American chain. Only catch is no returns during covid.

I shop at Hannam Chain every weekend. They have low prices on fresh fruits and veggies, and they have mixed rice too. Love them.

Hannam Chain is a classic for all the local Koreans. But the employees here are rude nonstop. My parents and I have been coming here for more than 10 years and it’s always exactly the same. Rude workers and never ask you to move politely but rather yell and sometimes shove. I completely understand that it’s a business they are running and they’re not here for their excellent customer service. But it’s a pandemic right now, and the workers be shoving me and pushing me out of the way instead of asking. Just ask and I’ll gladly move right away. And for your information, I was tucked away in the corner so I was out of everybody’s way.Overall, always good selection. Just sh*tty employees.

Produce here is good. Dont listen to the ladys trying to push their products. Cashiers are fast and accurate.

Expensive and unorganized. They need to improve their service. Only go here because its close. If I had the time, Koreatown markets are much better.

Ive been coming to this store for over 26 years and I love their produce and prices. However, within the last several years, its been so annoying when the ladies who are promoting certain products near the meat section who are constantly yelling in customers faces in Korean. I wish they would stop the practice!

Our go to place whenever we need any Korean meats and food. They have marinated bulgogi and spicy pork that are so easy to prepare and cook at home. Very clean and polite employees

A well stocked Korean market, they also carry foods from Japan, China, and American. Always clean, and the people are quite friendly. They have a great selection of side dishes that the ladies in the kitchen prepare. The lise seafood is great, and they have dozens of fresh seafood items,as well as meats and poultry. There is a small restaurant inside that fixes certain Korean dishes, which is always good eating. I recommend this store for people that want a variety of Asian foods to select from.

Veggies and fruits are usually fresh and reasonable price. I live close to H mart but I always come to Hannam chain for grocery shopping.

If you are looking for Korean products, then this is the place to be. Fresh produce. The meats and seafood are wonderful. I love the ready to eat foods, they are very well prepared.

Good prices. Good meat and produce. Always good promos. If you dont speak Korean its a little difficult to navigate, but its alright. Many more products have labels in English now. Its just very authentic.

Food are very bad quality: 1) Peaches have red skin but black center when thawed! 2) Fish are rotten but seller use green decorative paper inside packaging to block the fishes eyes so people can not tell! 3) Employees are rough if you try to select produce, they say its all the same so no pick! Will not shop here anymore.

I shop here whenever Im in Carson. I usually time my shopping to avail of Korean side dishes at half off, usually after 6 pm. didnt buy anything today though because of the long line for checkout.

It was very clean and well stocked. The older korean staff were a bit rude and the language barrier didnt help. Prices were good.

I love Korean food.

Nice store filled with Korean plus groceries, kitchenware,fruits, and veggies. Good variety of imported foods. Love their selections and prices . The only negative thing is to do with the old ladies giving samples, they were rude . They ignored all non Asian customers. The rest of the staff were friendly and polite specially the cashiers. Permanent vacation is recommended for these tired ladies .

One of large Korean grocery store in south bay area on Sepulveda Blvd and Maple Ave. in Torrance city. You can buy fresh meats and seafood and Korean style foods. Quality is above average over all. Inside of market is so crowded with merchandise and buyers always. I like to purchase fresh vegetables at here always

They have great sales here. For some reason, all the fruit I get here tend to mold more quickly. Dont know if thats a good or bad thing.They may lack in variety of products sometimes but the prices are very reasonable.

Less crowded now that H-Mart is in the area. Theres a particular lady who serves potsticker samples who has a major attitude if you try her samples but dont buy it. She tries to put it in your cart and if you politely decline, she then speaks in Korean really loudly to the other sample ladies. If you want to feel bad about trying food, definitely visit, otherwise stay away!

The Korean Market is full of prepared dishes and ingredients: grocery, bulk or fresh. There are often some great deals on seafood and produce and people are very friendly. Theres a little cafe which I need to try out. Aisles are overcrowded, but that only adds to the authentic feel of the store.
