Love this store. Their prepared food is healthy, fresh and taste good. Become even more reasonably priced when almost closing time. Grocery items are reasonably priced too. Store is clean and staff are friendly
Cute little Japanese market in Rolling Hills Plaza. I got the UCC No. 117 Japanese coffee here, and it’s a bit pricy but delicious! There are lots of ready-to-eat foods prepared in the refrigerated section. The sashimi is really fresh and the katsu sando was so mouthwatering tasty, especially with extra tonkatsu sauce poured on top! 😋
Small, quaint, store, found in the rear of the mall area by the arthur murray dance studio. Could be hard to miss. Little bit of everything that normal tokyo central store has. Limited sushi and platter selection once the time gets close to closing.
Often stop here for a quick snack or drink when in the area doing shopping.
Great market & very helpful. Thank you.
Very small nijiya market but happy theyre even at this location. just hoping theyd expand as neighboring locations are vacant. larger market located at north torrance 182nd street.
Their prices for fresh fish are lower than H Mart, so I am very happy I found them and I will be back! Ive told many people about them already!
Fresh, clean seafood. Korean market but also many Chinese and Japanese items. Wonderful Asian bakery adjacent.
So cutie 🍄Fish and meat are good 🐖🐙🐟Authentic⛩Parking is good 🚙Lots of speed bumbs in the parking lot. 🏔Super great selection of impored Japanese grocery and produce items. 🇯🇵There is everything you need and nothing you dont 🦋Staff is cool 👨🏻🌾👩🏻🌾Everything is yummy . 🍑Tiny store but it has everything. 😇I think that is what i like about the store itis not a giant mega store.🤯 It does not have lots of walking or large item spoilage . 😍It is very welcoming and inviting to shop here . 🤗
Excellent store. Small but mighty. Everything i needed and or wanted was found in the first aisle!
I go here for their green tea and Macha. They have pre-made sushi snacks perfect for lunch. Their produce section is small but fresh.
Great small store has a huge selection and gas almost everything youre looking for!
Great deals on SEAWEED. MOST RECOMMEND!!
They have high quality of japanese foods including fresh sushi. Small grocery though.
Small location, in comparison to larger Nijiya markets, convenient to a number of other venues.
This was very nice clean market to find Japanese produce. Prices very reasonable too.
Love that Nijiya. I also shopped at Sawtele location. High quality Japanese food and products. I used to buy masks from them long before K Culture boom. Cream puffs are the best. Salmon. Bento boxes on sale after 7 pm.
Great fresh sushi, meats and hard to find foods. Reasonable pricing and easy to find products.
Great Japanese market! I love the food selection and the employees are super friendly!
Small store with a lot of friendly staff. Prices are okay and reasonable. Good for quick stops and ready made food. I also like that they have a few tables outside so you can sit and eat during lunchtime.
Tons of groceries to choose from and prices are decent. Vegetables are well priced but meat is expensive. Constant awesome sales so always keep an eye out for specials!
The store is clean and well stocked. Their prices are reasonable.
I love this little market. Great selection of excellent items and super friendly service.
The store to go to when you need Japanese food or drink items. Fish and produce are very fresh. Sometimes you have to get it earlier in the day before they run out.
A small, corner Japanese grocery store. However, the place is too tiny. The isles are cramped and tight, with stuff very high up to save space. Staff could be friendlier, and store doesnt have to have all this stuff on the ground. I do think they need an extra building, due to space. i would rather go to Tokyo Central, so I dont feel so cramped and smashed together.
Always good for a quick fresh snack in refrigerator case. Helpful staff, quick checkout, a place to picnic outdoors.
Nijiya is a small Japanese market that I frequent due to the ease of picking out a pre-made quick bite for lunch typically. I often purchase sushi and tea and sit outside to eat. Sometimes ill pickup specific Japanese/Asian groceries, however, Its close to Trader Joes where I shop for groceries. My favorite Japanese store that is within the area because it is small. :)
Nice little local Japanese market.
Comforting and quiet Asian market. Lots of asian-cuisine specialties available. They even have a small outdoors eating area incase you buy any snacks. Absolutely delightful.
It have good Japanese food and products.
We love to go here for specialty items :)
I love Nijiya Markets! They always have great Japanese stuff, I go for the Jap Snacks and the SASHIMI! I will say that this particular one is very small, so might not have everything you are looking for.
Love this market. Very clean and compact. Friendly cashiers.
Love this place!! Great small store. Go in and out. Meals and desserts ready to eat !!!
Good little Japanese market with a larger location another city over. Decent pricing with some organic products. Okay variety of premade sushi 🍣 selections and sweet treats. Fresh sashimi is good when packing date is no longer than a day, I always check. Decent fresh meats for cooking. A little bit of everything. They currently dont take EBT. Medium sized shared lot out front.
Friendly employees, nice and clean~good place to grab a snack or brief lunch on the go~
A good little corner grocery market with ready-made meals you can heat up and eat then and there! Plus the staff is all polite and very helpful!
Sadly did not have the product I was looking for.
Nice line-ups of New bento. Some items price have risen...mmm
Everything Ive had there has been fresh theyre watchful but quite!! Great food selections!!!
Lots of Japanese items, as well as produce & meats. Ready to eat items, too. Tables to eat just outside, and restrooms.
Not a big store but they have a lot of stuff. I did get bad food poisoning from one of their ready meals even though it did not have raw fish. I ended up throwing away the last meal box to avoid any more food poisoning. One of the employees there was sitting in the way when I was standing there for a while trying to get something off the shelf, and because I tried to hard to reach it, stuff fell off. She was annoyed rather than apologizing. Then later she checked me out at the register and forgot to put stuff in my bag 2 times! And even though I purchased 3 meals she only put 1 pair of chopsticks in my bag to my dismay..
You would love this small Japanese grocery store if you would like to have grocery items of good quality. Depending on what you are buying, you can be paying more here than at other Japanese grocery stores such as Marukai and Seiwa.
Very limited selection, its very very small in comparison to Mitsuwa, old Marukai, or other Nijiyas. Friendly, but small.
Not as big as the store on 182nd Street, but decent selection of Japanese products.
This a great little shop to pick up your basic Japanese ingredients if you don’t feel like driving out to North Torrance or Gardena. This store is probably the smallest Japanese market I have ever been in and should be classified as a convenient store instead of a grocery store. They have a very limited amount of pre-made food and a tiny produce section, but they have many packaged goods and snacks. One plus is this store is never very busy so if you just need to pick up a few items then you can go in and out faster than the other Japanese markets.
This place is tiny.
Love the Japanese snacks and sweets!
Quaint little Japanese market. Nice for a quick fix of Japanese snacks and candies.
Able to grab a good snack.
A true Japanese market that is conveniently located within a shopping complex that if you as myself need authentic ingredients for your cooking needs.
Even more cramped than the Marukai off of Hawthorne but I like it here better for some reason.
Small store it has all basics
Real Good for a small market!
Best Japanese market with free Wi-Fi
The staff was polite and informative.
Best ready meals in Torrance.
Clean and nice market
Nice little Japanese supermarket!!
Small but had most Japanese foods I needed for oshogatsu

The money here is worth the money. I bought it here for lunch.
Small but abundant. On the 29th, I will buy meat for one month. We recommend that you subscribe to the leaflets.
The scale is too small.
