I needed a battery for my car that day. Advance Auto had what I needed in stock for a fair price. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. He didnt try to upsell me or convince me I needed anything extra. He was happy to install it and did the job quickly and well. This will be my first stop the next time I need parts.

Rob at the Torrington branch is the man!!! Extremely knowledgeable, informative and overall a pleasure to deal with. Somehow he was able to make buying brakes an enjoyable experience.

Went here in a bit of a panic because I dont know the first thing about cars but needed a new battery. The kid working there tested my battery and installed a new one very quickly. He also explained a few things to me as he worked and tightened some loose connections that were contributing to my battery problem so the fix would be long lasting. I dont expect to have any more problems but if I do Im going here first.

Its an auto parts store they sell the same thing as online but twice the cost in exchange for a part in hand. Great staff though.

The store is clean and the staff are mostly helpful. Usually have decent selection. If you all ahead for parts or fluids to see if they have them on hand, just be sure to make them put it in their hand. I once called to see if they had the oil I needed for my car on sale, and asked to make sure he had the viscosity I needed. They said yeah. When I arrived, they had 2 bottles only. Technically they did have it, but letting me.know you only had a couple bottles would have been a nice touch.

Called several times since they repeatedly hung up on me. Looking for a simple part and instead of looking it up told me to call other stores instead of helping. Completely rude and no care for customers.

Seem to be a little more expensive but the service has been great on my last two visits. They also carry parts several other larger partys stores didnt. Ive been trying to fix an emissions issue and they have been helpful with diagnostic tools (they have a code reader) and getting the correct parts.
