Got my windows replaced 2 years ago. Pretty good windows but they didn’t flash behind the siding with the outside aluminum. It went over the siding. I just got my siding replaced and had to get some OSB replaced around a few windows because of how they put my windows in and water got around the windows.

We waited three years to replace the windows in our house, and working with Aaron made it worth the wait. Love, love, love our new windows! We replaced our living room picture window with a bay, and added a sliding glass door on our deck - the finish work on the trim for both is amazing! Aaron encouraged us to get the new sound-dampening glass - I am so surprised at how much quieter our neighborhood seems. And with the hot days this past week, the house is staying much cooler thanks to the insulation of the new windows.Thank you Aaron and crew!!

Window SourceI have a summer cottage with 60 year old single pane windows badly in need of replacing. I am thrilled with Window Source and the excellent service I experienced.Highly recommend!!!When Aaron showed up to give my estimate I happened to be struggling with pulling a sailboat out at my property. Imagine my amazement when he took off his shoes and just pitched in and helped. Wow! Then he explained throughly the windows and process to me.David his scheduler was amazing too, keeping me on track with when the windows due in and helping me with questions and concerns.Steve the installer was awesome and worked so efficiently and smoothly. I was amazed how fast he could do the windows. He didnt get upset when I wanted to ask questions or observe the foam insulation process on a window, and explained the process.All were respectful of COVID and donned masks respectfully without having to ask them. We are very pleased with the quality of the windows and the workmanship. Seventeen double hung Low-E windows were installed on a historic 120 year old church that houses the Elk Rapids History Museum. The color suggested blended extremely well with the surrounding fieldstone. This was a major concern of ours. The integrity of the building was preserved and yet we now have improved energy efficiency. There was an evident effort to respond to our questions during the installation and after the work was completed. We would highly recommend Window Source to anyone considering window replacement.

I place the order for my windows in march 2021. Finally got installed late july 2021. I get that covid delayed alot of things. They were one window short and as of October 3 2021 i have yet to receive any information on the final window. The job is paid in full.

Ive waited quite some time to write this review so I could be sure of the durability and quality of the windows. As so many others have stated, the service, price and quality are great. Aaron is a no BS kind of a guy which we greatly appreciated. Even better is the security of knowing that he will backup his word and address any issue that might arise. I would use The Window Source of Western Michigan again for replacement windows, including the beautiful bay window they installed for us. Great company and people.

What a great company! Aaron and his staff were courteous, friendly and hard working and delivered a great windows. These new windows are wonderful, not only looking good but doing a good job keeping the cold out. My 11 year old woke up after his first sleep in his room with the new windows and commented that his room was so warm. His room has always been drafty and cold, keeping an extra space heater going. No heater and the room was still warm in the morning! A big win!! I would recommend this company 100% after working with them first with my parents window install, and now our own windows. Had new siding put on my house had some concern an I contact Aaron an he came right out an took care of my concern besides the siding he had his window people come out an put new wrap around my windows to match the work that was done on my windows was awesome I love my siding an the work that was done on my on the windows if anyone needs siding or windows get in touch with Aaron he will do you right thank you aaron

I got several quotes from other companies in the area—unlike those companies, I didn’t have to endure annoying, pushy sales tactics or listen to them belittle other companies. Their quoted price was upfront and fair. Aaron, the owner, subsequently came and verified measurements and answered additional questions I had. Steve, their installer, did 13 windows in two days (his son was right behind him cleaning up). Above all else, the windows look great and I’ve had numerous compliments. This company appears to take great pride in their product and care about their customers. I don’t anticipate any problems with my windows but feel confident if I have any, Aaron will address them and take care of any issues in a timely manner. Great up north service! Simple and easy but as thorough as you want. Wonderful owner and workers. I had a little vintage cedar cabin in the woods, they were able to accomodate all my unusual needs but also modern professional service and lifelong solid product. The windows look so good and are incredibly functional.

Very much impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their product. From the time I first contacted The Window Source of Western Michigan, they have been responsive, courteous, and professional. I was kept informed throughout the process of ordering and procuring the five windows. Installation went very well, with two highly competent installers. There is a noticeable reduction in outside noise being transmitted through the glass thanks to the noice reduction qualities of the glass used in the new windows. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company.

Im a real estate investor so I have a habit of calling every single business I can find if I need work done to a new property. So yes, I literally called all of the Window sources competition. I needed 13 windows so it wasnt a small job.Out of all of that, I found they were the third cheapest in quote. Of course, I got one of the backyard Bob types being the least expensive, but Ive long learned my lesson about getting what you pay for, when it comes to contractors. The rest were fairly close in price ($2000 or less) or were like the wildly expensive company Home Depot put me in contact with.The next down just didnt use as good of quality windows. I went with Aaron because of those factors. Im glad I did. It was done quickly and turned out excellent. The Window Source is now on my permanent list of contractors Ill call first if I need windows for a new property.Thanks again to Aaron and Im sure well talk again if my next project needs a few windows replaced.

As a senior citizen and of limited income, he assisted me with choosing the right windows to meet my needs and budget.My new windows were just installed today in a very timely manner and Im very pleased!I was a little surprised when a one-man crew showed up (right on time this morning). Aaron had told me the job would take 4-6 hrs (to replace 4 windows--including a very large picture window). I couldnt believe that one man could accomplish the task in only that time constraint! However, David, the crew did, indeed, get the job done in 6 hrs! David was very professional, polite and diligent with his work! He worked without taking a break in 90+ temps! If you need new windows - or a door! - The Window Source is a great option for anyone living in the greater Grand Traverse area. Installation usually requires an order of four windows, but what we desperately needed last year was a new porch door so they were able to work a deal for two (also desperately needed) windows & the door. And this year we put in an order for five more windows to be replaced - the originals date back to the 1930s and we are very happy to have new, attractive, more weatherproof windows. Service is very friendly, prices are reasonable, and we look forward to replacing five more windows next year!

Upon contacting The Window Source website Aaron responded right away. He was very friendly and polite. He came out and gave me a quote on my windows and the price was good. We decided to go ahead with the new windows purchase and have them install them. Steve the installer showed up with our new windows and did an awesome and amazing job on the installation. The Window Source of Western Mi. is a very reliable and honest company. I was impressed enough to use them twice. They delivered and installed in a timely manner. The owner was honest enough to talk me out of product based on return on investment. I would use them again in a heartbeat, but I only own two houses.

Although they only do vinyl windows and I needed just one wooden one, he was very helpful with ideas to save money, options of places to call and just nice to deal with. If I ever needed vinyl windows (which would be less maintenance!) I’d shop with them!

When it comes to construction projects, my biggest considerations for choosing a contractor are time, quality and value, and The Window Source exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Aaron was very low pressure and honest. Room design is not my forte, and his suggestion to install a picture window proved to be one of the best improvements on my house. A room that was once nothing special is now a beautiful reading/art room with bright light and a clear view of the lake. When it came to the actual installation, the workers were all business, completing the work in no time, and with minimal disturbance. The rooms and windows where the work was done was left clean and spotless. Will definitely choose this company again for future projects. Highly recommend!

These guys kick butt: high value and hard work, even on the coldest day of the year!Aaron and David really knocked this out of the park. We discovered mold on our already incredibly leaky circa 80s wood windows and decided to get them replaced. A friend recommended Aaron and give him very high praise for both the windows and his service. We had other quotes already from other installers that made us uncertain, both in cost and business practices. When Aaron visited, gave his simple, no pressure sales pitch and gave us a generous quote on the spot, we knew wed get our windows from him, if we did.After deciding to get them, Aaron and co scheduled their install ASAP and in the dead of winter. The two days they installed on turned out to be the coldest days we have had. They really showed up. The windows went in fast and tidy. They brought a heater to keep themselves warm and got all the windows and a beautifully capped patio door in in 2 days in 15 and 3 degree weather!Our house is warmer and much nicer looking. We didnt lose much heat Because they were fast and efficient! Will definitely use Aaron and The Window Source of Western Michigan Again!
