I love ORYANA! The people here are always so friendly. They take time to help you find items. GREAT selection of fresh fish and local meats. I do wish they would expand their tea selection and bulk herbs and spices.

While the staff is friendly and the store is clean, it does not have the same or as high of quality of products as the other Oryana. It does feature a wide variety of products; however, they are quite pricey and hit or miss on what they do have. Their bulk section is great though!

Amazing selection. Super kind service. High prices, but probably the only place you can find some of these items, like arrowroot powder, etc. Happy with the visit and looking forward to the next time.

Sometimes I wish they had more options, but for what it is, it is seriously amazing! Only place I shop in this town ❤️ workers are always so helpful and kind ❤️ today I got to donate beans to charity for bringing my own bags!

Some good things and some bad things. There are no options that are not organic, so if you are prepared to pay $7 for a bottle of ketchup then youre in luck. The produce has been trash the last half dozen times Ive been there, rotting in only a couple of days, and its uncommon to find local options for most of their produce. All that being said, the deli is pretty solid and the meat counter guys are very helpful, good selection of oysters even in the off season for a very reasonable price. Beer and wine selection is also decent, and the bulk dry section is quite nice. Be prepared to spend $100+ every time youre here.

Great healthy food market and more. I usually go to the original location but once in a while I will make the journey across town for greater variety. I dont like the entrance drive on to 31. Is not designed well and is dangerous. Ive seen many accidents there over the year(just saw one yesterday). I would probably go there more if the intersection were Improved.

Many of the products that luckies had they have done away with and either not replaced or replaced with more expensive items. Sip and stroll is a thing of the past and the cafe is never open. The only reason I still shop there is no better alternative.

I will be a little bias in this review because I just signed to be part of the Community co-op.I love this place, not only because it has products made with the appreciation of the craft of food production, but also it carries the concept that an small portion of something made with care is way better than a big quantity of food made with fillers.Surprisingly, it has Argentinian products like wine (vino de la Rioja - see pictures, milanesa, and arrollado).It also has homeopathic medicines and great desserts.When you are visiting Traverse City, the two Oryana stores are a must.Enjoy!

Really nice store. I think if you join the co-op you might get a discount. I want there for Michigan maple sugar and they had a great selection of local maple syrup, too. Nice produce also. Ill go back.

Out for a long day of errands, including grocery shopping, it’s great to be able to get something good and healthy to eat before grabbing our groceries and heading home.

An older cashier named Cathy was so incredibly rude to my family and I, that it was one of the few times in my life that I was left truly speechless. Will never, ever go back there again, mind you I have been going regularly for years since they first opened and was Luckys. Just wow!

Im so happy with the Oryana West location! Its bigger, more convenient, and offers a broader selection of all my favorite items. No matter which location you shop at though, the service is always excellent! I love our community co-op!

Always love going to the original location in traverse City but when we found out they had a new location on the southwest side we decided to come and take a visit. OMG, what a phenomenal place and a great selection of different meats along with vegan choices as well. I would highly recommend this to anybody who loves food and quality food on top of that

The highest quality marketplace Ive found in Traverse City. Think organic, ethically-sourced products. With a full deli & meat counter, youll find everything you need at this location to make whatever you desire. If youre not into cooking today (I get it!) they have a ton of grab & go premade meals, salads, and sushi! Dont forget to visit the apothecary section for some natural lip balm, body lotions, etc. Thanks Oryana! Yall are the best!

Homegrown organic store kind of like a Whole Foods store found in other major cities however were cooler because we dont need major retailers we have family businesses like this one

I love going shopping at Oryana from Manistee! The service is wonderful with their most helpful people who are there for the customers. Oryana is a health food store with organic, gluten free, low salt, low fat foods, all kinds of supplements, meats, nuts, healthy hair products and makeup snd so much more!

I love the customer service and friendly atmosphere. The quality of food is exceptional and produce is amazing. The amount of vegan is food could be larger, but what they do carry is wonderful.

The store is very clean and all safety measures are in place for covid-19 and I am grateful. They offer many varieties of foods and beverages. Meat/fish area is amazing. We bought products and they are excellent. All of the employees we so kind, caring and professional. If you have questions in products they answer thoroughly. Really enjoyed our visit and we will be back💜

As a member, I am amazed at the diversity of the selections. I tried the corned beef hash bratwurst, and andouille sausage and both were top notch. Kudos!

A very safe, clean and well-stocked store staffed by some of the best people around.

For a health foods store they sure don’t have much knowledge of health. I’ve been harassed and my rights violated during this “pandemic” while shopping there. I would expect a health store to have some education on health and understand that there are thousands of evidence based studies proving masks harm you as well as don’t filter out anything harmful. You can check your OSHA confined spaces protocols for why your store policy is against its own guidances. The government is over reaching and your store is enforcing unfounded and illegal scientific interventions against citizens rights.I’ll take my clinical experience and education over the demands and harassment from an employee of yours. You should be ashamed of your violating and uneducated store policies.

Wish I had more time to look around for some items that I could really use. But it is kinda hard to ask someone to assist you or answer any questions you may have when you cant find someone to help you.

Im so sad Luckys is gone. Now that Oryana has both stores the prices are ridiculous, especially spiked in the meat and seafood market. Also its just not kept up well. Unclean, and Ive seen moldy produce so many times and then have even seen that moldy produce gone but the moldy spot on the shelf still there 🤢 Its been so frustrating that Ive been purchasing much more online. I love to support local, but cant get behind that when theyre putting up outrageous prices. Its feels like theyre trying to be Whole Foods, but with less quality.

This store is much better than I expected. Rather than replicating their downtown TVC store, Oryanas management maintained the format of the Luckys store they purchased. This means lots of fresh organic fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, a good selection of meat poultry and fish plus sushi🍣 made fresh most days. There are also bulk foods, craft beers, wine and a big department of suplements and herbal remedies. Best of all, the store is roomy, brightly lit and the spirit and courtesy of the employees is reminiscent of Trader Joes.In fact Oryana West is the next best thing to Trader Joes!

My first time here and LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! Ill definitely be back to shop again the next time Im in Traverse City. Or a great reason for a road trip! Great organic selection this store carries two of my favorite products Michigan Farm to freezer frozen fruit and vegetable and Northern natural USDA certified organic hard cider they carry blueberry lavender and Northern Star theyre gold metal winner

Its pretty much the same store, but without the Luckys brand. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like it. They still have the house bacon! Everyone was respectful and wearing masks. Lots of parking and room in the store. I will definitely shop there again.

Good place to find hard to find food items

One of the best chicken curried salad Ive tried in Traverse City.

I like this place, but 3 out 3 times in the past few months I went looking for spicy italian sausage here it was sold out. Plenty of other sausage options, Id think they might make a larger quantity since it seems to sell out regularly.

Luckys (now known as Oryana West) had some potted organic vegetable plant pots. I was able to get 4 of the yellow cherry tomatoes. Excited to see some different herbs to plant as well. I like the store very much for its unique varieties and customer service. Clean carts and appropriate social distancing safeguards.

Selection and prices here were amazing! Excited to come back.

This morning was my first visit at Oryana West. The staff was eager to help and friendly. I loved that I was able to find all that I needed and I learned that they have a lot of what I have been looking for!

Found malt vinegar which was a find. Had some killer pizza at the deli, and could some supplements that I expect to be very helpful.

As much as I love this store and have been a member of the co-op off and on for over a decade, I am very disappointed in how a particular (Manager maybe?) is treating people who are not Properly wearing a mask. I had to pull away my mask to be able to see what I was doing with the credit card reading because I could not see it, and was bullied and told that if I didnt have my mask on properly the cashier could not continue to serve me. I left. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me by the same female (I believe is a manager) since this Covid has started.

What a nice clean store with very helpful employees! Produce looks very good, as is Oryana’s standard. Items displayed everywhere very nicely! Thankful for the sign RIGHT as you come in that states that masks are mandated. When you are older, it means a lot. This IS where we will be shopping from now on. Thank you Oryana!

The floor manager Tyler was following me everywhere in the store to make sure I have my mask over my nose even though I said I am vaccinated he angrily warned me he will kick me out of the store if I don’t do what he says!!! Per Governor mandate ‘Don’t have to wear a mask if you’re vaccinated’ he actually said that’s not true. Seriously these employees don’t have anything better to do other than to follow and harass people that walk in the store?? What kind of health food store is this?

Love this place. Lots of choices, organic or regular vegetables and fruits, bulk food/candies, fresh meat and sea food. A place I anyways visit whenever I stop by at the grand Traverse City area.

Horrible mask bullies. I was wearing a mask but holding it away from my face. An employee followed me harassing me about wearing the mask over my nose. It was! I was just holding it out from my face. He wanted me to take off my mask and put in a face shield 🤔 my man covered more of my mouth and nose than a face shield would. I said, standing at the register, I have my mask and I just need to check out. Nope not good enough for him. So I left my items and walked out. I didnt shop there much before, but now, never again.

I really miss Luckys Market, it was upbeat a happy place to shop! They had a great selection of items. Oryana reminds me of the old 70s health food stores. Stuck in a rut. They even got rid of the weigh scales in the bulk food department, yep, lets step back in time, again. Glad we have an Aldis in town!

I was recently shopping here and had a TERRIBLE experience!! I have a breathing issue and am unable to wear a mask. I was shopping with my husband and 3 month old baby. I havent gotten out much and I was looking forward to shopping at a store I had really enjoyed in the past. I was approached by an employee and told I needed to be in a mask. I told her I was not able to wear one due to my breathing issue. She rudely insisted I put one on. My husband had an extra one in his pocket so I went to retrieve it from him to follow the rule. She stalked me and rudely ask what I was doing still walking around.I told her I was trying to find my husband as he had an extra mask. She follow right behind glaring at me. I got the mask and put it on not covering my nose because of the breathing issue. She lashed out and said that because I wasnt following the rules and hadnt done as she had said, that I needed to leave the store immediately and if I didnt she would be calling the police. It was such an affrontive experience and so aggressive, I will never be shopping there again and I will make sure my friends know how I was treated. Because of my issue, businesses have been understanding, so I was so shocked to have been treated that way.

Wonderful place and the prices are great!!

I have asthma and CANNOT breath in a mask. I get harassed at both stores. 10th street kicked me out, the new still Lucky’s store (Oryana West) was extremely rude!! I had to fight with an employee to get him to deserve me at the meat counter. Finally I asked him to back off and let someone else help me, which a nice lady stepped in and helped me. This mask ordeal is going to be the downfall of local businesses. I would much rather support local, but if this continues I will be forced to go to the big box stores!

Oryana west ❤️❤️ They have more mochi ice cream flavors than original oryana. Selection of items are incredible, very well stocked! Hopefully they have more cold (hot) bar food options like in original Oryana.

Everything we have come to love about Oryana in a larger store with even more choices! Excellent service from employees and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Clean, friendly staff. Many great healthy options. I am impressed by the safety precautions they are implementing during this covid strain. Had great customer service at both the fish and deli counter. Got some goodies to go greek salad and a awesome vegetarian sandwich with hummus and avacado. Bought some fresh salmon for grill! One stop shop!

Oryana continues to lead healthy sustainability for Traverse city. West has brought further depth to their already bountiful service and fresh products.

This was my first time visiting this location and I really enjoyed it. There was a lot of selection for locally sourced food and specific diets, as well. Items were clearly marked, the store was clean and stocked, and the staff was professional and courteous. I especially appreciated thier efforts toward staff and customer safety during the Covid outbreak. At the time of writing this, masks are required for staff and customers, sanitizer is available, and carts are sanitized between each use.I recommend this store based on its selection, committment to local food, and care for its staff and customers.
