The chocolates here are delicious each providing a different array of sensations when tasting. I have bought my chocolates from here for the past few years for special occasions such as Valentines day or for an upcoming anniversary. The chocolate they keep in house, excluding the fruit and pre packed chocolate is typically anywhere from 0-4 months in age (total shelf life before tossing out.) The price for a large heart shaped box of chocolates can cost anywhere from $60 and up. The box is accounts for a large portion of that cost which is $25. The small heart shaped box is around $20 so the packaging is really what you are paying for in this case. The boxes are weighed and thats what accounts for the rest of the costs. I think you pay for the name, not saying the chocolates are not delicious of course. The shakes are also rich in chocolate and fairly priced. Since I plan on getting a few more gifts I did not get the large box since I could put it towards a valentines day gift instead. They have a special going on right now for chocolates where you buy 8 and get 2 for free. That being said however the 2 cannot be placed in the box they package in due to space constrictions. The employees are friendly and welcoming, and answer questions with care.

Purchased thier chocolate covered cherries as gifts for friends (and myself). Well worth the calories, heavenly! Great social distancing! Join their rewards and get a free piece of chocolate monthly to treat yourself.

Was there Wednesday December 2nd and found everyone there very kind and helpful. They had recommendations that are turning out to be really great. Highly recommend the almond butter truffle which was kindly recommended to me by staff, it turned out to be my favourite!

This place has decadent chocolates and treats, its that simple. Everything is divine. But, their ice cream is quite literally some of the tastiest, most delicious around. Its a small portion, but its so rich it doesnt need to be any larger. Give it a try!!

This place caught my eye while driving past it. I had to turn around and check it out. I was not disappointed. Delicious chocolate, their hot chocolate is also very very good. Must visit.

Above & Beyond! I needed to send out 4 gifts with a special letter in each bag. Chandra was assisting me through the whole process. She literally figured a way to get the items delivered same day to the recipients and packaged each bag so beautifully. She was extremely helpful, polite, and had such a great attitude doing it. This was my first time buying anything from Godiva and I would HIGHLY recommend the Somerset location because of the superb customer service I received. Great experience! (and the store smelled amazing!)

What stupendous service! The girls who work at this chocolate shop are extremely gregarious and very kind to their customers! They even gave my children some chocolate, which is very nice of them. The girl working there named Kaitlynn is especially nice, and treats her customers in a respectful and friendly manner. The chocolate, of course, is scrumptious and nobody in my family can get enough of Godiva! 5/5 :D

Awesome shakes and chocolates

Chocolate covered strawberries are my fav!We get them from Godiva because the chocolate is soo good. However the dozen of the chocolate covered strawberries I received yesterday weren’t fresh at all. We ate half of them & put the rest in the fridge for the next day. The strawberries developed mold over night 😷🤢 This has never happened to us! Very disappointed.

I love Godiva and with that said, this store is small and has too much of the same stock. Godiva has tried to do different kinds of ice cream, chocolate shakes, dipped products and mango/raspberry chocolatiers, but their mainstay, good chocolate is starting to lack...too many fruity types, just need good chocolate...my humble opinion.

Phenomenal customer service! I went in search of the perfect gift for each of my guests for an upcoming party I have planned. Not only did they meet my expectations, but they far exceeded them! In fact the blonde woman helping me made my day extra special with her kind and genuine spirit of hospitality. I was given delicious samples and great future gift ideas. Godiva Somerset is my new found pearl.

Every time I go in this store I am met with upbeat smiles and exemplary service. The manager, Meredith, always remembers my special needs daughter and gives her a little spoon ofIce cream. For such a large company like Godiva, it really feels high end service with a small town feel. We will be back for sure !

Awesome variety of chocolates,very good choice but a little pricey. But the girl or staff at the counter was very rude and not at all helpful. Because Godiva Chocolatier is my favorite and whenever I visited Detroit once in two years I always drop in and also request my family who visit us every year to get me only from this particular store in Somerset Mall

Had a wonderful experience. I walked in looking for coffee. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They wrapped my gifts for me and the wrapping was Godiva beautiful.

Calgary misses you - they were dissapointed when you left! Plus your website would not let me internationally send gifts btw. (Had to use the phone) if you stepped it up and stayed around? Awww still 5 stars because your products are awesome!

Multiple people acted like they couldnt be bothered to help us. Also they changed their recipe for the shakes. The trufflattas were really good and were made with - you guessed it - truffles. Now it says a shake mix thats watery and meh at best. Really gone downhill in the past year or so.

😡👎👎 05/15/16 I was there with my son to buy box of biscuit, a drink and a bottle of water. The African American cashier was cashing me out. She ask me if I have a reward card. I said yes but I dont have it with me right now, can you please look it up with my phone number? She found my membership no. and said very fast pick a piece . I ask what?. She said very fast again pick a piece. I said pick a piece? What piece? She said just a piece! A piece of CHOCOLATE!!! Dont you know whats the benefit of having the reward card!?!?? I said I dont know and I didnt come here to get a free piece of chocolate so I wasnt think about it. While I was looking which piece of chocolate, she start to talk about the benefits for membership (with attitude).. I was listening to her and looking at the chocolate at the same time. She started to call me loudly and aggressive MAM.. MAM.. (She want me to look at her while she talking rude to me but Im not her kid, Im her customer). I was thinking wth is wrong with this woman? I finally got A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE for her. And I swear she throw it very hard into a big bag together with a biscuit box. And this is the end of the line.. I used to get a free piece before from Ann Arbor branch. And they put it in a little bag for me and I believe that what they suppose to do. I ask To talk with her manager. She said very proud that she is a manager. I said well then I dont need to talk with the manager anymore. She ask me aggressive what do you want to talk with the manager? I said nothing because I was thinking its no point to talk with her and I want to talk with someone else higher than her. She making me feel like she wont let me go if I dont tell her why I request to talk with the manager. I told her that I dont know why she have to be so rude and shout at me in front of my son and other customers. I dont know what she mean when she say pick a piece. she say it very fast and it almost sound like pick a piss .. She started to say sorry bla bla bla.. but at the same time making face at me. I walk out and call back to that store and ask to talk with the manager (expecting to talk with someone else not her). The guy (manager) answer my call. I told him the whole story. He said apologize and will talk with her. He call back in about 10 minutes and said that she dont admit at the beginning but finally she said she sorry to BARK at me. The guy manager said she got a written warning and told me to go back there to get A PIECE of chocolate whenever.. Well I didnt go there for free A PIECE. And I dont really care. But for sure I will never go back there again. Also I will tell this whole story to all my friends and tell them not to go there. 😡👎👎👎 Very bad service!!!!
