I love this place! The coffee is great and the scones are AMAZING! I love the whole vibe of the cafe and its now my go-to for downtown coffee and scones.

I absolutely love coming here. The decor, atmosphere, and the coffee itself is superior to literally every other coffee shop Ive been to before. I would honestly choose to go here over Starbucks 100% any day. The staff is so friendly and everything is wonderful. A favorite hang out spot of mine and I know it will continue to be!

WOW. that’s all I need to say. Went for the first time and yes the coffee options were amazing but truly it was the set of scones that did me in. Flavorful, delightful, just plain outstanding. Can’t wait to come back.

The hibiscus 🌺 tea with infused sweetener is so very delicious, its my go to when I think of stopping in!!! The desserts/ pastries look scrumptious 😍 & I will be trying them sometime in the near future. Shout out to the beyond excellent cheery customer service over the counter!! Most coffee shops are cute with good coffee but meh food. Or have an underwhelming environment but good snacks and coffee. Not Jacob Alejandro. All aspects - the atmosphere, coffee and espresso drinks, and food (specifically scones and other pastries made in shop by the owner) - are INSANELY GOOD. Spectacular all around. The pina colada scone is...otherworldly and lattes have to be the best in the Capital Region. Troy is blessed to have this place. Hopefully theyll have lots of outdoor seating in the warmer months. Cant wait to be back!

If you appreciate excellent coffee prepared perfectly, you need to stop here. These guys are very studied, love talking coffee, and have mad barista skills.I was taken aback by the wide selection of beans for espresso shots, all different, with appropriate tasting notes. I had the Columbia 2020, listed as having notes of apricot, cacao nibs, and plum. These tasting notes were spot on, but with so much more complexity. I attribute this to their dialing in the grind, brew temperature, pull time, etc. Very expertly done.My wifes matcha latte was rich and flavorful. Similarly, I also had their seasonal vanilla citrus spice latte, recommended by our friend who sent us here. It was light, sweetened appropriately, and tasted like winter, in a good way. Rich vanilla, balanced by a touch lemon/orange and smooth winter spices. Delicious.The baked goods came out from the oven while we were drinking our first round. Omg, so worth the wait. Two types of scones: cheddar & chive, and feta, rosemary, and sun-dried tomato. We both had the feta scone, as that was more unique. Texture was perfect, moist yet a bit crumbly. Cheese, herbs and subtle tomato were subdued and balanced. Loved it.We will be back to Jacob Alejandro soon. You need to get here.

We are so blessed to have this coffee shop in the Capital region! This is the BEST coffee shop in the area and I always wish I lived closer because I would be here EVERY day. They have the most unique coffee flavors you wouldnt think of, but once you try them you will be hooked. I tried the Horchata Iced Latte today and it blew my mind with how balanced the flavors were. If you are in the Troy area this is a MUST TRY if you are a coffee lover. The owners are extremely nice to talk to and you can tell they are passionate about their craft, thank you so much for opening a great coffee shop!

One of the best lattes of my life (and there have been many).

Coffee was amazing. But my husband said the guy behind the counter air quoted that he wanted a double shot of espresso after he ordered - (not sure what it means but enough to be brought back up) Tiny cup also for the price. Maybe don’t be condescending to customers, and the price won’t seem so bad.

By far the best coffee, or in my case hot cocoa on this snowy day! I can not speak highly enough about the quality in all of their drinks!Cute joint! A must stop!!

Just got the iced vanilla citrus spice latte with their homemade almond milk—best coffee of my life! The atmosphere is phenomenal and the chairs are so comfy! The baked goods also looked incredible.

10/5 stars for this awesome local coffee shop! The vanilla citrus latte was simple amazing. Fresh baked good looked delicious. A few cozy seating spots were available to enjoy in house, and social distancing measures were clearly being upheld. All employees and patrons were wearing masks and hand sanitizing/washing regularly. A must stop for a weekend coffee splurge. Will for sure be back!

What can I say about this gem! The pastries and scones are divine, we had to buy more just to try everything. Had too! There is really no choice after you try one. And coffee stands proudly with its peers, both cups Ive tried make me want more. Dont skip the seasonals.Atmosphere is nice, staff friendly, patrons courteous, and safety well within my comfort levels. You really need to give this place a try if youre in the mood for a coffee and a snack.

Aesthetic is fantastic. The coffee is fair trade and incredible. Personally recommend the mocha, as the chocolate is likewise amazing. Scones are great as well. Cant really find a downside.

This is my favorite coffee shop EVER! The lattes are the best I have ever had, and everything else Ive tried (hot coffee, cold brew, scones, etc.) is absolutely delicious. Beyond all of the delicious food/drinks, the owners are some of the kindest people! Through masks, they quickly learned me and my husbands names and usual orders and are always so lovely to talk to while our drinks are made. We go at least once a week and its a highlight of our weekends, I look forward to all of the visits ahead :)

We visited this establishment several months after it opened. The ingredients for all their coffees and baked products were delicious! A direct result of the high quality ingredients and expertise of their baristas and bakery chef! I will also add it was a very comfortable place to relax while enjoying your beverage and treats!

I just moved to Troy and was looking for a good coffee place. My realtor told me I should come here, he said you wont be disappointed! And omg he was right! Not only theyre very very nice, but also their coffee is amazing. Also, I hate scones! I think they are dry and tasteless. But their scones are just sooo good! I love them!
