Very good tea place. Teas here are brewed extremely well. The sweet teas are too though. So go for unsweetened ones and add sugar if you like only slightly sweetened tea.The desserts there did not impress me much. However, I think that cinnamon buns are quite good there. The only problem is that they are not reheated in the oven when you buy them but in a microwave that damages the flavor a bit.The place is nicely decorated. Very nice and pleasant to be there. Its clean, well organized, spacious, and has a really friendly atmosphere. It would really benefit real plants though.The staff is extremely polite, helpful, cheerful, and simply nice.Would defeat come back. Highly recommend.

Im not a juice kinda guy but it was actually pretty good. my mom loves juice places and she really enjoyed it. also the staff took time to work with her on which juices had what in them and other details. it was a lovely experience after long day.

Nice coffee place with a good assortment of coffee drinks & teas. They also have a few deserts such as various cake slices. Nice, friendly staff who were very helpful and happy to make suggestions. I ended up getting an iced coffee (I know, I know) and it was great. Restaurant was clean & well-lit. Would definitely return.

I am sitting at the cafe now and I just had to leave a review. I am studying and come here often and have tried something new from their unique menu each time and have not been disappointed. Today I tried a Ginger Fizz and I was not a fan (everyone has their own palate so it just didnt work for me but may work for you) I am the usual person that puts up with things and doesnt complain. But I decided that I needed a drink I would like to get me through studying so I went up to order another drink expecting to pay but they were so nice about it and said they could make anything I wanted and it was on the house. They are really nice and I really appreciate this business and its support during my studying.

Tried the frozen mocha in a double size. Tastes just like a creamy milkshake!I will say that I am disappointed that I couldnt have any of the baked goods like the scones (nut allergy, cant share spatulas, etc.), but at least I got a delicious drink today.

Troy Sweetwaters coffee is one of my favorite locations, because of the amazing owner Stephanie.She goes out of her way to make her customers feel welcomed and uniquely cared for.She goes the extra mile to ensure quality food products are available and it definitely shows. I’m obsessed with the delicious breakfast sandwiches. She works with private bakeries, etc and only gets the best for her people. The drinks are pretty fantastic as well ; )I appreciate Stephanie’s caring, positive attitude and her willingness to accommodate her customers and make them feel important.The vibe in the shop is relaxing and chill.Great place to get a drink & bite. Absolutely positively unequivocally the most delicious coffee experience Ive ever had, also please do yourself a favor and try the tiramisu, best ever hands down.

The tiramisu is AMAZING. I have been on a kick tasting them wherever I go and this is by far the BEST. I also got the chocolate cake which is great, but the tiramisu wins!

Batista did not know what Oolong tea was (even though its on the menu) and when I asked for milk in my tea she tried to brew tea in hot milk instead of water.... very surprising behavior for a tea place!

Great alternative coffee shop to others. Friendly staff (great customer service), friendly atmosphere, great meeting place to connect with friends or to meet new people, or even to study. High quality products and I even let them create drinks for me not on the menu. Have never had problems with their WIFI.

The service was bad and the coffee was worse. If you like watered-down coffee, this is the place for you. They don’t have any actually food (only pastries) and so they don’t allow you to bring in a sandwich and when you do bring in food, they make you throw it out in the outside garbage (an actual experience that happened)… I get it, they have rules, but if you want customers in, maybe allow them to bring in food..?

The imperial tea and matcha dragon are good.The matcha one could be more sweeter.

Nice new facility. The drinks are way sweeter than I anticipated. The price of the desserts, I wouldnt pay. $7.50 for a very thin slice of cake, not worth it. Also had a piece of sour cream coffee cake while we were there. Not really worth it either.

I love having the cappuccino with oat milk. It is absolutely delicious! I also tried the vegan chocolate cake and let me tell you, that is going to be a repeat purchase! The barista shared with me they might come back with a vegan carrot cake so I will be on the lookout for that! Great place to have coffee and food items!

I love coming to Sweetwaters in Troy. It is a great spot for enjoying company and great coffee! The atmosphere is inviting and warm. This is a comfortable spot for whatever you need to do, whether it is studying, or playing games or having a nice conversation with friends.

Stopped in here on a whim to pick up some coffees and treats for an office Christmas lunch. The service was great and very quick! I’d highly recommend the tiramisu. The whole office agreed it’s one of the best in the area. Ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee and hot mocha - both were excellent! Looking forward to coming in again.

Staff is nice enough but Clinton township location has better menu options and better parking. I live in Troy but drive to clinton township location because they have breakfast sandwichs and regular sandwichs all day! Great coffee drinks, love the dreamy. You really should carry the same products, franchise or not.

Great coffee shop, however the shop is set back so its tricky to get to with how poorly people drive around the area and the selection is overwhelming. When I asked about different drinks, and combinations, the staff wasnt very helpful. They should streamline drinks as other coffee shops do, even just spotlighting a drink mixture like Biggby does would be helpful.

This is my favorite coffeeshop and my goto happy place for lunch breaks! The owner Stephanie always remembers my usual, but makes sure to check with me in case I want to switch it up. She makes the best drinks ever; I never have to worry about them being burnt like Starbucks! She always go above and beyond, and is one of the nicest people Ive met in the service industry around here. I know that if Im having a bad day I can swing by and leave with a smile on my place. Forewarning: the cold coffee brew and espresso are dangerously delicious!

I order a Carmel coffee and it tasted very salty, even after asking for another coffee and it was still very salty. I couldn’t even drink it that’s how salty it was. I’m very unhappy about how the coffee tasted

My husband loves the Ginger Lemon Tea he requests it every time we visit the shop. I like the Chai Tea with a shot of espresso. As for the coffee try the French Vietnamese Au Lait. If you have ever had a cold brew coffee try Sweetwaters you will never go back to that other company. The store is clean and brightly lit, local art is on display and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Stingy with wifi, god-forbid you need to connect to the internet prior to purchasing something. Also, awful ambiance for a coffee shop: music is so low and you can hear everyone’s conversations—no privacy.

Rude service. Attitude. Don’t sell what they advertise. Awful “ambiance” for a coffee shop. The lady at the front couldn’t even keep her mask over her nose: gross. She was the worst customer service interaction I’ve had in a long time.

11/2020 Update: They just let groups of people congregate here without masks on, no social distancing attempts made.Really good coffee. You get what you pay for, definitely isnt cheap. The staff is fast and nice. Its a very clean and calm place. The art is nice inside. I love how late the place is open too!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They answer any questions about the menu I may have and always make great suggestions for my tastes. I love trying out new drinks each time I come in and they have a ton of yummy treats and desserts to choose from. Sweetwaters is a modern yet comfortable shop to go to for all your caffeine needs!

They lie in response to their negative reviews and then when you call to discuss a bad experience, hang up on you. So many better places.

This coffee and tea place is a much needed and a great addition to Troy! Ive enjoyed all the desserts and teas so far. My favorites are the ginger lemon tea and the carrot cake. Both are very flavorful. The cake slices are pricey but theres several other affordable yummy options. Its also a good place to study and get work done. Its quiet, has indoor and outdoor seating and the owner is very friendly.

Absolutely love the place! The owner and the staff are very friendly 10/10 recommend, and if you do go try the Napali Brew, best drink I have ever had!!!

Sweetwaters is our new local fave. Their cold brew is second to none! Fave variety is Dreamy. This location is tucked away from Big Beaver frontage but love the hometown vibe it’s got. Nice change from the other franchise coffee places!

I had to write a review after the owner once again made me a specialty fall drink to accommodate my dietary restrictions. They have made a dedicated customer out of me, simply by showing kindness and compassion to my particular needs. Also a really comfortable atmosphere, I will definitely be back often!!

Good ambience. Good Cappuccino. Mocha was too sweet, very cold and just okay. The menu seemed quite expensive so didnt try anything else.

Living off of Starbucks most of my young life, it got old after a while. I was so happy to of found a local coffee shop with organic teas and locally sourced baked goods! When you stop in go for the French Vietnamese latte with a shot of espresso, probably my all time favorite drink😻😻😻

I’m not a coffee drinker but I must say I loved the coffee I tasted. I’m a tea drinker and the teas are so amazingly delicious. The pastries and food are scrumptious and very fresh. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Give it a try and I guarantee this’ll be added to your favorites.

I went there for the first time and fell in love! Its a spacious, modern setting and I felt welcome. The almond croissant and cinnamon scone were great! I cant wait to try their drinks. Love it!

I was waiting in line for more than 3 minutes with 2 customers ahead of me but when it was my turn I was out of there in a couple short minutes. Great coffee and great atmosphere! We held a meeting and reserved the large table in the back corner for 10 people. It was easy to park in the first floor of the parking structure and walk right over to Sweetwaters. We will definitely be back!

I was in a hurry, but when I was walking by I saw macarons in the window, so I decided to stop in! I got three different kinds, lemon, passion fruit and pistachio. They were little, but cute and definitely worth it. They all tasted amazing, and the passion fruit was one of the best macarons Ive had in a long time. I wish I had had more time to look around and try more items. It was very nice inside and everyone working there was super friendly and smiling! I wish I lived closer so I could come back!
