Was expecting much more after reading such good reviews but maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Will update this review once Ive tried others.Had a chicken shawarma but it had more veggies and sauce than actual chicken. Wasnt expecting that given the price is so high (Rs 550 chicken and Rs 620 beef currently). Ive had gyros abroad which were more expensive but totally worth their price given the taste and portion of meat. I really hope to try something better next time (suggestions are welcome :). The wedges were good.Little to no parking up front. Friendly staff. Nice decor and atmosphere.

We ate here probably the tasteless food during our holiday, its wasnt bad and we ate most of it as we were hungry, but didnt really enjoy it. The starter and the bread were the only things that we kind of liked. Service was ok but prices were quite expensive for what it is. I dont really understand the overall reviews but maybe they do have some dishes that were better.

Niche restaurant with exotic greek dishes.The food was EXCELLENT! The place is great, in the centre of Grand Bay, with a balcony and view on the beach.Loved the decorations. Unfortunately didnt take pictures of them.The people are really nice and provided good service.The portions of the food was veryyy large though. I personally would have preferred smaller portions, and reduce the prices as well.I would have also preferred a wider variety of mocktails.I will surely come back with family/friends/girlfriend someday. But for the time being, I still feel full from the last time I had dinner there.

Welcome and service were great. We ordered several dishes, we only found the Souvlaki chicken a bit overcooked, but everything else was worth the drive. The Tirokeftedes and Prawns Olympus were top notch. Sorry, we ate them before we could take a pic of these two :p

Prices are on the higher side though not uncommon for the area its located in.While I personally prefer more spices in my food, for the palette that its catered to, the food is good.Pizza sizes are very small though compared to the price. Would get a family size pizza in the prices they give for a medium pizza.The gyro is well filled, though some additional seasoning would be good or at least nice if suggested to clients.Downside though, did not get a single napkin or sauce with the takeaway.

Nice place to eat with a range of dishes. The prices are average but I think worthwhile. The Lobster pasta is excellent and the salt crusted fish very interesting. The latter is salty but what else to expect and is excellent when accompanied with Garlic, olive oil and pasta with no salt.

Food was very good! We had a salad and the chicken filled with sun dried tomatoes. Deco leading upstairs was on point. Definitely worth a visit.If it’s a hot day and you pick a seat upstairs (yes it’s lunch it’s a sea view), you might feel hot.Would go back to try the other items on the menu!

Fabulous new restaurant! Owners invited us for a tasting-- it was a feast. Tastefully designed and good parking. Nice bar area as well as seating for dining. Appetizers delicious, calamari was incredible as well as the shrimp. This restaurant will be a keeper. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. BRAVO!

Its easy going Greek restaurant on sunset boulevard just perfect for meze style dinning. We had private dinning event which went down perfectly. Environment was on point, service was good and food was excellent!

Too expensive in mauritius !!! Compare to other countries (cost of living is much more than in mauritius) where we can get better quality and quantity !! Definitely it is abusing on the price and quantity !!!

Basil certainly has made his effervescent presence felt on Mauritius. Stunning food at reasonable prices. Even their pizza is better than anywhere else on the island.....South Africas loss, Mauritian gain.

Having fresh fish sold across the street, its really disappointing that frozen fish is used here. Food was not prepared well at all.Suggestion: try using the fresh ingredients available on your doorstep.Staff and layout of the restaurant is great.

It was amazing. They had amazing food and free internet. The reason for 4 and a half stars Is because there pizza is not so nice. Other than that amazing.

Loved the ambience and location. Parking can be a issue as one needs to look for parking on the Grand Baie public beach.Excellent mezze, all the dips are to die for. Portion size is huge so better share else lot of food gets wasted.Grilled Chicken Soulvaki was a tad too dry and not as juicy as promised.Wraps, and the rest of food was awesome. Huge portion sizes so no place left to try the desserts.Will revisit for the mezze and desserts next time.

Outstanding cuisine and service from this very new restaurant. The feta salad, meatballs and humus were very good. This is a must do when youre in Grand Baie.

Amusing name - serious food. We had an absolutely delicious shared meal (meze) here. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the staff are very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. From crisp, crunchy salads to rich, aromatic meats everything was fresh and flavoursome. The baked feta being a particular stand out. We fed (possibly over fed) our family of four, including two teenage boys, for under $100 AUD. The fantastic setting, with views out over the bay, and the tasteful decoration combine to make a welcoming, comfortable space to spend time.

I was there for my birthday lunch 3 days ago with my girls and we enjoyed it. Love the restaurant and specially the greek food. I had greek food for the first time and enjoyed it. However, two things; first we were given pineapple juices that were definitely not good. They had a weird after taste so we returned it and second on our bill, some extra items were added that we definitely didnt order. My friend was about the pay when she noticed that the waitress added drinks that we didnt consume and so we called the waitress who looks like she knew there was a mistake on the bill. Please be careful next time. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant for the good food and cosy place.

Great hosts, fun name and good food and much better prices than the outrageous prices at our hotel. The negative on our visit which to some is a reason to visit is that they offer free WiFi. This meant a couple sat down at the table next to us and proceeded to stream a Spanish basketball match on loudspeaker for almost the full duration of our meal without a care for other diners.

Had 2 beers, a bottle of water, hummus and olive tapenade (starters), 2 pitas, veggie salad, fried Aubergine for vegan. Additionally a fish. Altogether was about 60€ which is rather expensive.The staff was friendly but a little pushy and up selling: “one more beer? Are you sure not? Maybe one more?”There was no dolma (wine leaves) or Tsiziki, so it’s not proper Greek either, to me. But the olive oil was great!The bathroom is nice but feels like sauna.The view on the beach is also nice from thee second floor. You can also sit at the terrace.

Nice ambience and look, the owner is very friendly and the staff proactive. However, the menu although not having a large selection (which isnt a problem) is designed in a confusing manner and you end up flipping back and forth alot. Too much going on in the design layout; they would benefit from toning it down. The food, well not especially impressive which would have been OK if it werent so expensive. Very bad value for money. We felt very unsatisfied having paid so much for at best a mediocre meal. The grilled haloumi was still frozen at its core and the owner did rectify it by putting it longer in the grill but the quality of the haloumi, even fully cooked was less than average but expensive anyway.

Unquestionably, the best restaurant on the island of Mauritius. Great setting and even better food.
