MetrolineDirect is by far the best phone vendor I have had the opportunity to interact with. When I am looking for anything telephony related this is always the place I end up first. They have incredibly low prices (which I like as a hobbyist) and fantastic customer support. I had an issue with a brand new Avaya phone and these guys really went above and beyond to ensure that my issue was resolved to my satisfaction.Their selection of products is pretty wide reaching as well, the only time I have ever had to go elsewhere for my telephony needs is when I am looking for niche old stuff (Merlin Legend stuff) and it saddens me every time. I love these guys so much that I hate to spend money elsewhere!If you are in the market for anything Avaya, Cisco, Grandstream, Mitel, Nortel, or pretty much anything else, this should always be your first stop. These guys have a life long customer in me. Thanks for everything MetrolineDirect team, keep up the good work, you guys really are the best.

I made some purchases a few years ago and I just got an email TODAY telling me I have to pay them Sales Tax because THEY forgot to charge it a few years ago!!! Who does this????? Apparently they are being audited and they think their customers will just pony up and pay out of pocket for sales tax the company did not charge after years have passed. I say, Eat the tax cost because you messed up, dont involve the customer in your Sales Tax/Accounting Issues. Stay away from this company as they obviously fail at Accounting!

What a terrible experience. I ordered 6 new phones from them. 3 phone worked and 3 did not. Our business phone supplier advised that the reason the 3 phones dont work is that they are previously used and the preset MAC password was changed. I called Metroline Direct customer service who was gracious over the phone and transfered me to tech support. After waiting on hold for over 20 min, the tech support manager advised me, that he sees in his system that these 3 phones were previously used but unfortunately there was nothing he could do for me as it was a few days past the 30 day return policy. They totally ripped me off and sent me used phones when I paid for new ones and then gave me some BS over the phone to get away with not having to replace them.Definitely stay away.

I just want to express my gratitude and congratulate Sherwin and Chris for the level of service that they provide at every step of the process. They guided us through the process of putting together a phone system and then did an excellent job with the programming. I expected that I had to do further programming once the equipment arrived but I only needed to add a couple of shortcuts. They made it very easy for us to complete our phone system upgrade.

Received their product and followed instructions for printing labels. Top label printed fine but bottom labels were off and were all wasted. Called the company and they did not stand behind their product. Ill order from somewhere else next time.

My first experience ordering with this company was great, however, when I placed a bulk order things went really bad. As a result, I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I opened my sealed package to find a very key component to my purchase was missing from all 10 of my items. Called them to inquire about it and after speaking with a combative supervisor it was concluded that this is my fault (and should check to make sure someone in my company did not tamper with the boxes) and they are not responsible for their packages after they are sealed and sent to customers. He then said he had to believe his packaging supervisor over me...I should look at it from his perspective. Then, the supervisor was SOOO gracious to offer to charge me $15 per item I was missing (I was missing 10 of them!), to have them mailed to me. He then offered to review his security footage of my package being filled/shipped, to prove to me these items were included in my order. Im hoping after they review their security video, this company will realize their error. If this is not resolved, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. This is an example of how not to treat customers!

I was at a complete and utter loss for what I need for a phone system. I paid for a consultation and quote from a local installer. Being me, I shopped around and found this metrolinedirect site. Their prices were tremendously lower, so I naturally called. They were 10 times more knowledgeable than the installer! Plus, they were able to knock off 3 items that were totally unnecessary for my needs. Ive had the system for 5 months so far and with their help by phone only, I was actually able install this MYSELF. They genuinely want to empower you to know the system so you are not locked in to some contract with an installer or have to pay any time you want to make a name change, for example. So they A) could have easily sold me the bloated stuff the installer was trying to sell me, but they opted to not B) filled me with knowledge to do this on my own when that *also* costs them possible revenue and C) the sales staff actually knows the equipment they are selling!
