It had been a while since I had shopped in the store but decided to stop in to kill some time and was pretty appalled at the prices for used goods that are in poor condition. Items that were in decent shape were priced higher than buying the item new and more moderately priced items were filthy and nearly destroyed. About the time I saw these childrens sneakers priced at $8 covered in mud and hair, that was enough for me.
What clothing store doesnt have dressing rooms? I was fine with paying for my clothing knowing that if it didnt fit I could return something. Come to find out you cannot. But if you buy a 12 dollar item and exchange it for a 2 dollar item they can pay you back the difference, what kind of logic is that???
Customer service 5 stars, cleanliness 5 stars, cashier outstanding I can not remember name I believe it was Anna? Jacob helpful, understanding and knowledgeable outstanding. Now pricing is all over the place. Some ridiculously over priced and at the same time there are items you really losing value. I can how in someway you may say it even out, but as 2 to 3 times a week consumer I would appreciate more consistency through out the store. The colors of the week??? Where are they. Are blue or green ever a color if the week? I ask because thoses colors are the only ones out your floor??? This is purple, orange and yellow I looked at 100 idem last night without a visible price not a single one of them had a color of the week. Its like pulling teeth to find and use your advertised discounts. Please hit brake on every day price increases we are low income family that the your store, but we are getting pay increases as quickly as you are jacking up the prices. With, that thank you for all good you are doing it is appreciated Just remember there are still a lot of Americans suffering in these really unfortunate times. God bless you all at Savers and be well.
Completely impressed with the amount of great quality stuff they have here and how clean everything is! 10/10 would rather shop here than Goodwill.
Wicked cool thrift store, easily one of best ones Ive ever seen. Merchandise is neat, clean and organized so you can actually look at everything. Incredible selection of clothing, housewares and all sorts of good stuff. The staff is friendly and on point. Kudos to yall at Savers😎
Good Customer Service but was sad about the lack of options in BOTH: Kid & Adult Halloween Costumes THIS YEAR-2021... Every other Year they have ALWAYS been Our go-to place for costumes for rhe whole Family, but this year Not Only had just 1 rack of each- Adult costumes & 1 for Kid costumes, but then, as weve returned many things here for store credit as well in the past, the other thing that I did not care for at all, was apparently a new policy that even though We still had the tags on the item as always, since we had NO receipt for it, they said they WLD ONLY GIVE US BACK 1/2 of what we Paid for it IN STORE CREDIT? I was Shocked!!! I even triple verified that this was Correct, being that We have exchanged things in the past for store credit & have Always gotten whatever We spent & returned-BACK WHEN EXCHANGING for STORE CREDIT! Savors store policy has ALWAYS been:NO Receipt= NO CASH, STORE CREDIT ONLY, which IS totally fair... but to NOW ONLY be willing to LITERALLY give Us 1/2 of what we PAID IN STORE CREDIT, since We jad thrown away the Receipt? It still doesnt sound right and was SO NOT Cool Savers, were very disappointed.
Fair prices, good customer service, lots of stuff to looo through
This place used to be my favorite place to get clothes, but now you literally can’t try things on AND their return policy is super restrictive. They’d rather cater to the influencer crowd than the actual working people they supposedly exist to help 🤷
Was busy but the employees pushed the line swiftly
Havent been in this Savers in a long, long time. It was VERY clean, VERY, VERY, VERY neat and organized. VERY!!!!!!! It did not smell. Their items, no matter what they were, were clean and not broken/ripped/whatever. Store was nicely lit, not dark and dingy. OVERALL prices decent. If you dont believe me, look in some of the other thrift stores in Tucson. Ample parking, easy in and out. Employees very nice. Again, VERY, VERY, VERY neat and organized. Their employees obviously work hard and diligently to make it so.
I do love Savers! I have found some truly great stuff here. Recently, they have jacked up the prices so much that it’s a bit ridiculous. In the last few week, there was a plastic bin/tote priced at $9.99. I thought that seemed high so I looked it up and the same exact brand, size and color was selling at $5.50 and $6 at Target and Walmart, respectively. It was a plain grey tote with the top (but not even a latching top). A few days later, I saw four things from the Dolllar Tree priced $2.99-$4.99. It’s absurd. Most of the staff are nice but whomever is pricing these things isn’t very good at their job. I know Savers is FOR-PROFIT and are NOT in business to support charity. (I am not sure why people would donate there as opposed to someplace that genuinely helps people but that’s another point). But the quality of things seems to go down, the prices go up steeply. I know we are facing incredible inflation right now but they have gone a bit too far. I only go on mondays now for half price. If it were for charity I probably wouldn’t care so much.
Was descriminated by their employees Jacob ask me to check my backpack in at the front. After I have already been in there for more than 20 minutes. That it was store policy. Yet 3 other people around me had bigger bags than mine and none of them were asked to do so... Im pretty sure its because I was the only hispanic there. Either way. I do not recommend this place if they are going to pick and choose who must follow the rules... It was very uncomfortable.
Lots of quality merchandise at good prices. Although used, they are in great shape.
Gets pretty busy around this time of year, they do try to keep it clean and organized though.
A very big store i went on seniors day very busy. Like a big deot store many ateas to shop. I will check again on slower day to see the flow of store a lot of product.
Are they crazy? Ill let you be the judge. The cashier was friendly, the only good thing I can say about my recent visit. Two items I didnt take pics of, jeans with tears (not fashionable tears) for $12.99 and fashion jewelry (nothing real about it) $12.99. Stuff you wouldnt even pay $5 for at Walmart! $2.99 for an old, stained nasty plastic butter dish? I wouldnt pay $.50 for that at a yard sale. Would you? I used to like shopping there but now....
No dressing rooms. Ok. But a return policy of store credit only is absolutely absurd when you have to go home to try on all of your purchases.
Love this store. Cant wait for store hours to completely return to normal. Getting there though. This store would be less busy in the evenings if the other thrift stores in the city would extend their hours past 6pm again. I like to avoid crowds, especially during Covid. Well, at least this store IS open until 8pm now.
Glad they open... Thats about it. Dirty and overpriced. Local thrift is the better way to go and more grateful..
Savers Thrift Store on Broadway I highly recommend this place they have very nice clothing. Great deals on everything. Senior discounts too.. Good place for people on a budget..
Love Savers! This is the one thrift store I can always count on to find what Im looking for. They have an amazing selection of linens, which is what I go to thrift stores for. I also noticed they have a great selection of clothing for all, along with housewares and just about anything that you are looking for. Whenever Im visiting Tucson, I always make sure I have time to stop in at Savers. The staff are friendly and helpful. Masks are required and they have great discounts on certain days on top of their already great prices!
Mondays fifty percent off is amazing. Great clothing selection for all sizes! The housewares are frankly a little expensive. I noticed several items that were marked like 399 in a real store like a regular retail outlet that were marked $2 or $4 more in the savers which was a little strange but other than that super place great employees wonderful experience
Im a big fan of thrift stores. Gives me something to do when Im bored. Usually I buy and flip certain things but I also keep alot of the things I buy for myself. I was very disappointed in this store. The prices were literally one or 2 dollars cheaper than walmart. I walked out with absolutely nothing, which is very rare. Luckily I was on that side of town and had been wanting to visit this location. I wont anymore. Dont expect thrift store prices if u do go.
Pretty good selection but it is kinda overpriced. Overall, though, I had a good trip.
This is my absolute favorite thrift store and has been for a little over 20 years now (wow). And before my parents passed, when they would visit, my mom would say lets go to your Savers 🙂 Its well organized and easy to find things also.
Since they closed the savers on fort Lowell I had not gone to the one on craycroft/broadway in over a year. After walking/looking, I am sorry but Savers is OFF my shopping list! I believe I was told that Fort Lowell closed on account of losses from theft, the location, and homeless creating problems. I love, love my thrift stores but other than the drive to get to savers from green valley, only to find nothing special to make that drive any time soon. Also sad is more thrift stores are vanishing than going up. I honestly believe I was finding more things liked at thrift stores than retail.
Nice big store. Fair prices.
A really great place to shop for clothes that are clean and are still in good shape, everything was organized. I stopped in after work, and found five long sleeve shirts, and two pairs of good shorts in less than thirty minutes.
Its a 2nd hand store, I got a few very good bargains at 30% off, everything is clean and gently used Love the place
Great deals and half price Mondays, senior citizens Tuesday
We were looking for a magazine rack. We went in and right away found one! Brought it and left! It was great!! Plus we got it for half price!! Face masks are required.
Savers makes it so easy to donate, they have a drive thru/drive up area and they have friendly staff willing to unload your items out of your car for you--youbdont even have to get out of the car if you dont want. And they are a tax deductible charity (and eco friendly). Weve made several donations and every person is very friendly and polite. This has become our new favorite place to take donations.
Very clean. Very well organized
Always fun place to go browsing, clean organized and friendly service !!
It was the first time I had been to Savers. In a long, long time.. I went to the one on Ft Lowell when it was open. I loved it. Way to many people for me though. I felt uncomfortable. Overall it was a very nice experience your staff were very attentive and friendly. Keep up the good work. Me being recently retired made me want to come back. I will be back every Monday.
People kept the distance for safty. It was nice I found 2 items at 50% off of $3.99 and the other 2 was $1.99, so I spent almost $10 for 2 pairs of really nice sandles and a embroidery pattern for a pillow plus a pattern to teach my grandson how to make stuffed animals. So these are the nice and brand new looking sandles
Friendly staff, was very busy yet organized
Savers was great as always.. Dont ask Bridget for help though. She was the most unpleasant employee I have ever encountered at Savers and I have been going there for years. A friend of mine had purchased a large item for me but was riding the bus. He brought me the receipt and I went to get the items. Unfortunately Bridget was who I was referred to for help. I explained my friends situation and could I please pick up the items. She immediately said we dont do that. Meaning hold a paid for item for pick up with an appropriate vehicle. She said she would go look. I shopped around and asked Bridget again when I saw her and she told me she didnt even go look. She knows it wouldnt happen and then questioned the receipt I had as if I had stolen the items on my receipt. Not once did she check or ask the employee who signed the receipt. Rude, unprofessional, and disappointing to see that type of person working at Savers..needless to say I never got the items my friend paid for ...SHAME ON BRIDGET
EXTREMELY RUDE WORKERS. DID NOT FOLLOW RULES. STORE VERY DIRTY. WILL NOT SET FOOT IN HERE EVER AGAIN. AS WELL AS DISCRIMINATION
Interesting place to shop . Found some good movies I was looking for
Very nice, clean, organized store. When we are in the area we always stop by.
Great deals. Today they had 3 color tag discounts @50%. Awesome staff. Very polite and helpful
Love savers, their prices have gone way up but if youre diligent you can still find great deals
Always manage to find something fun and unexpected. Just have to look for it. Always enjoy the challenge!
Store is great prices great but it just felt dirty and the employee seem to just stare it was a little weird but I can overlook that because the prices are awesome and everyday 3 tag colors are 50 percent off AMAZING
BUYERS BEWARE: No fitting rooms, no returns, high priced, dirty & overly used items, poor management communication to new customers, occasional passive aggressive cashier
Great place to fill up the whole familys closets for cheap. We find some really nice pajama sets and clothes for the kids. There is even a good selection of work clothes for both men and woman in case those dress pants rip or for woman you might want just to change it up with out spending a fortune at a name brand store. We still get name brand here but its always nice to have a couple pears of jeans, shirts mabie even work out clothes that you have available that didnt cost you hundreds to get, and if you time it right the have days were certain color tags go on sales like 80% 50% so you could really get the best bang for your buck.
Not very busy, lots of good stuff! I scored a nice wooden wheelie chair for ten dollars among a couple of other things. Cashier was quick and courteous!
Friendly people and good deals. 😀👍
I love the people at Flawless. Always pleasant and amazing artists.
Busy on Mondays for 50% off aL, but cashiers got it down and move the line fast.
Great price is great staff easily manageable and a very clean and proper
❤️😁👍Savers on East Broadway in Tucson is a great thrift store. The story is extremely neat and well-kept very well organized new products all the time. Definitely one of my top go to thrift stores when I’m out treasure hunting💎💰✅🥇🏆😁👍
Decent variety of stuff great prices and everything was in good condition
Found baseball gloves for 10$. Great condition. The books are organized nicely. Friendly staff.
This store has Araya of merchandise that I was really impressed. And at reasonable prices . And the employees are courtesy and helpful
Lots of good stuff. However, and Im sure COVID has influenced this, but their pricing doesnt feel like Im getting a bargain anymore. If you have enough time to really dig, you can find that bargain. I still enjoy this shopping experience.
Very relaxing today, the store was busy.i got a discount so I was happy .
Great selection of irems, good price and friendly sraff
Super clean. Nice, friendly staff. Great prices!
Great prices. Great service
This place is clean, well lot and, best of all, well organized, especially the clothing. Its divided by size and type of clothing. They also have an excellent selection of books and they always have a deal that for every 4 books you buy, you get one free.
Really friendly place and I always find good stuff
Always courteous and well put together racks. Rarely leave without what I came to get.
A fancier Goodwill! This place is always restocking its shelves with new products all the time. The workers are very friendly and despite what other people say, everyone that works there has a positive attitude. I can surely say that I will definitely be coming back again to shop at Savers in the future! Definitely a place to recommend if you love thrift shopping!
Employees are very kind all the time
Great deals on merchandise.
Lots of stuff every day and Nice People.
Always clean and very good at keeping up with covid prevention procedures.
Havent been to savers in quite sometime and just so happens to be 50%off Monday. And staff were very polite. Quick checkout and great setup for checkout line.
Clean, organized, numerous treasures. Love the Monday sales, I have all new clothes from numerous visits over the past few months. Decent Covid policies, pleasant staff. Restrooms.
I love this savers, always easy to find things. Organized and clean and associates are helpful, kind, and smiling. Always have a great experience.
My daughter and I love to shop at savers...they have super good stuff and the price is right, specially on Mondays, everything is half price.
It appears the prices have really increased . some items can be purchased at a discount store brand new for 1$ I realize that. Savers has %50 off days every week. And that is when the price becomes reasonable. I actually like Savers but would like to see improvement in price especially on some items that show the wear and tear
The employees were super nice. They had the checking out down to an art! I was in a long line but it moved quickly. Very polite!! Wish I could say the same about customers. They were rude & not social distancing. Very impatient. I give the customers a -3.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The store was very clean and well laid out for social distancing. There are plexi glasses everywhere for protection and even face masks if you happen to forget yours.
Great place for 2nd hand items. Large variety. Just clean items before use and look it over. Best to go on 50% off days for lower prices.
Dressing rooms are still closed.
Prices on clothing have gone up drastically in a couple of weeks.
Although its a for profit thrift store, the prices and staff are great. And they DO make donations to non-profit organizations based on how much each of their donation s weighs. They are one of my favorite stores.
This place is trash and charges you more for items that are donated then you would pay buying brand new at the actual retail store. Just from the parking lot you should know what your walking into.
Its ok... clean, nice set up but prices on clothes are not the best. Some are great, then some are like 13.99 for a used shirt. Really? So you really gotta look for a good deal in my opinion.
Very well organized staff was helpful and nice. It was packed with people but, even all the people visiting there were nice.
Got some cool deal on second hand groovy found a nice cargo pants that were guess shorts
It was an incredible time. Every quality you could expect was in that store. It was an amazing and very humbling time. Huge sections of hundreds upon hundreds of clothes, appliances, and toys to examine or even purchase. I am very satisfied and very happy with Savers as a store.
Great customer service. Some items are overpriced.
Great thrift store. Organized and clean. I recommend shopping on the sale days.
They have deft raised thier prices than before the pandemic. If your looking for something they will suffice. Deft miss the one on Oracle and Ft. Lowell.
Always a good selection of pants
I always get great stuff for an amazing low price!❤
Always find so much cool stuff I need (ok want) . Staff always friendly .
Always good buys at savers. Bought my kids toys with a 50% off email coupon it pays to sign up for their rewards!
Always a sincere pleasure to shop Savers on Monday 😉👌😎
Love this thrift store! Some items are a bit overpriced in my estimation, but theres lots of reasonably priced things as well. Also, you can get senior discount on Tuesdays and if you have the rewards card, you also can get some good deals.
I love working here. The staff is a team and 98% of the costumer are nice 😁😁😁
The selection is not terrible here but the prices are high for what they are selling I think . Best to go on the day that is 50% off I think, not sure which day though check their website maybe ...
