I felt very disrespected. When I walked into the place right away everyone in the room stopped to see who I was and a very awkward silence. an I think it was the manger he was looking at all his employees like can someone help the man hes lost. But anyway they didnt even consider to acknowledge what I had. And i didnt say anything i just put my coins on the counter and she just started adding up numbers. I looked at her like naw Im good Ill just take my coins and leave. I thought that coin collectors will take the time to see and weigh the coins like a apprise should.

I have purchased a few coins off Ben over the last year or so! They always have great prices and the coins are shipped out very fast!!!! They are my LCS across the County!!!!! I know if somthing were to be wrong with my order they would go above and beyond to fix it. Nothing has been wrong and never an issue, so 100%, 5 stars for OPC!!! You down with OPC Yeah you know me!!

When my Dad and I got there the employees had no masks on and there was no posted social distancing protocols or mask requirement, so we left as staying safe is important. Its a shame cause its a nice store based on when I was there in the past, but I wont be back, at least not until the pandemic is over if that. I only leave my house when I feel safe, especially when Im bringing my Dad along.

I had done business with them many years ago and was very happy.Reviews and recommendations lead me there again in Dec 2020 to sell a coin collection that I had researched its value extensively.The people were nice,but would not even give me an offer.I went to there competition that they talked bad about and sold them easily.What happened???

This is the best coin shop in town. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I came in with little to no knowledge and they treated me with kindness and respect. I asked about silver coins to start a collection for my daughter. They let me rifle through a box of silver dollars and I got to pick out my favorite ones. I highly recommend Old Pueblo Coin.

Went there today to get my grandson stared in coin collecting. Extremely helpful as always. I have been going there for about 30 years now, never had a bad experience.

I suggest The End is Nigh, wear his mask and stay in his house, maybe the basement and live in fear. The place is nice but he wasnt able to help with my request to appraise an old document. They seem to be strickly coins.

Was in the store before closing time and was asked to leave at 4 not even give me a chance to pay I was very happy to find a new place to get coins but I guess it wasn’t meant for them to get my money

The owner and staff make you feel at home, very cheerful and always smiling. Id say theyre one of the most honest coin and metals dealers Ive had the chance to do business with in all the years Ive baught,sold and traded silver,gold and platinum.

I literally lost track of time while browsing there is just so much history in this place its amazing and they not only have an immense variety of coins but of other artifacts as well. They have these cubes of pyrite on display that are amazing. Whoever said that mother Nature does not create straight lines was never more incorrect. They have a couple clocks that are antiques and just a Wonder to look at. Im a big time browser and I literally spent hours in this store and really cant wait to go back to spend some more. I must say I did feel a little unwanted in there and I know that it was due to my appearance. The gentleman I spoke with was very cordial and professional but there was a lady in there that was rude dismissive and bougie. I do not blame the shop for her shortcomings though, because even when I looked at myself in the mirror I grabbed my wallet to make sure I still had it LOL. I must say usually I do hold the establishment accountable for hiring a person like that and then for keeping them on the payroll but in this instance for whatever reason I do not and thats why they get five stars.

Great for buying or selling coins of value but not a place for exchanging foreign currency -just not what they really do so go elsewhere for foreign exchange of currency-they wouldnt exchange any of my foreign currency money and I had paper currency from over 15 countries and some collectable ones like Afghan and euros so yeah they are not a place for foreign currency exchange like Google puts them at the top of the list for foreign exchange but thats not happening.

First time to Old Pueblo coin, went to have my coins appraised and look around. I have a 1877 penny tucked in my little, but mighty collection. The poor girl looked right over it. Seemed more worried about the weight I had in Silver.

I have been going here to sell scrap gold for over a year and it used to be they have great offers ie. 80% of market value. Sadly things have changed. Now all they will offer is 60% of market value. Not even good ole Tom will gouge you for that amount. Unfortunately I will not be frequenting this establishment in the future.

I didnt know anything about the value of coins so I looked them up on the internet. My husbands sketchy collection had a few that were above the value of silver but what I found out was that you cant count on the prices the internet quotes. I was given a figure for what i brought in. I took the coins to a different business on Grant Rd. and was offered less for the same coins. so I went back to Old Pueblo. I was treated with politeness and friendliness. I would recommend the people there any day.

This place is a SCAM. STAY AWAY! Took my jewlery and coins there and they did a test.. offered me $250 for my lot. I was so sick of the man that was helping us. I knew he smelled like a rat. I took my entire lot to 3 other places and they all quoted(770-900) for the lot. I ended selling for $900. Old pueblos is a SCAM and I would never return.

Very patient and helpful staff at least one of them was another warmed up to myself and my fiancee after talking numistics a little bit.Normally I would be watched like a hawk and leeried at with accusing and suspicious gaze, mostly because of my apperance(tattoos very visible) and looking like I belong in a rockenroll music and clothing store rather than shopping in a rare coin and currency shop, but this mental man took all the time needed to show us coins we. Had herd of and answering all our questions with no discourse even tho we stated we didnt have much to spend and were new to numistics and just curious to learn

These guys are Thieves. I took a few coins in including a 2002 Standing Liberty proof silver dollar. An identical one in the case was selling for $38 yet they offered me $20 for it. WOW, so they can turn around and make 90% profit? I also had a Silver proof Bicentennial coin set and they offered me a whopping $3... yes THREE dollars for it. I wouldnt sell these crooks a wooden nickle...

I had purchased the coins from a place in Scottsdale named SBCGold and they are CROOKS!!! Do Not Ever Deal With Them. Old Pueblo is a Honest and Fair Place to buy or sell your gold, Silver or whatever you may have. Oh,I was surprised because I got burned so bad by Scottsdale Bullion & Coin but Ben, gave me such a fair price for my 25 Morgan and 2 Peace dollars that I ended up losing the minimum amount of money. They gave me a lot more than I had been offered at the Gun Shows Coin and gold dealers. Go to Old Pueblo and see Ben Weinstein for a fair deal. Oh, one more thing.... Stay away from Good Ole Tom!! Seriously. I know........

Old Pueblo Coin is by far the best coin and collectable store in the Southwest and one of the best in the country. The coin professionals at OPCE are highly knowledgable about the current market and offer the most fair buy and sale margins in the market. I have dealt with coin stores around the nation and on the internet and I have found the folks at Old Pueblo to be the most welcoming and most able to meet my coin collecting needs.
