I had a decent time there but the place is awfully understaffed and the wait time is horrid. When i had my coins appraised, the man took a quick glance at my coins and said they were virtually worthless. They also sell their coins for way too much. I ended up going somewhere else and getting a better deal.
Great place tor finding advice and current coin needs. Fantastic customer service, and supports Tucson Food Bank!
Have been selling gold here for many years with great success but went last week and was turned down extremely rudely.I will never be back. Went to PMR and they couldnt have been more polite and professional
Both of the gentleman were extremely professional and friendly . I will definitely be back and will refer anyone else to this wonderful establishment
I had until recently been a regular customer at this shop. It used to be wonderful and Seth was great to work with. On my two most recent visits however Seth was not available and no phone messages have been returned. I most recently have been buying wheaties there. On my last two purchases I have been shorted in the count on the pennies. Most recently however was the one that did me in. I purchased 5.00 face value, ended up with 4.74 face value and I had 18 pennies in the mix that were not wheaties, I bought two other coins in the purchase but was charged 4.00 more per coin that the sign in the case indicated. I had called since to talk to Seth about this, but am constantly told that he is on the phone or he is with someone. I am sorry but I have the feeling that I am a second or third class person from one of the guys there and I cannot put up with it anymore. I hope you have better results than I have had recently.
I love to buy and sell from this coin shop. I recently sold some silver rounds and gold to this coin shop and they gave me a great deal. I am very satisfied with the service and politeness of the people that work there. A+
I worked extensively with Tucson Coin & Autograph when needing to sell a family member’s jewelry after she passed away. They are a group of extraordinarily nice guys, extremely trustworthy, ethical and pleasant to work with, and they always gave better prices for gold than anywhere else.
I went in with stuff from my parents. The owner, Brett, gave me a receipt so he and the staff could sort through the items. When I returned, he paid me for the ones of value (precious metals and autographs) and opinions as to the possibility of value to some of the others. The rest, I can yard sale, donate, or consign with confidence. Dealing with the family treasures can be stressful. Tucson Coin & Autograph made it easy!
Honest with integrity. Brett, Seth and the fellas are honest, care and teach customers. They encourage new (young) collectors. My guess is most of the negative comments are from those who found out that their priceless heirloom was truly priceless and took it out on the messenger. As for me and 3 generations of my family we shop at Tucson Coin and Autograph and will recommend them every chance we get. The charities you support thank you also.
If your selling gold or silver bullion to these guys they will pay a competitive price. But dont sell numismatic gold coins there! Jeremy is right in saying they condecend the quality of your coins. I brought a 20 and a $10 gold piece last summer, and they declared them as being fairly poor quality. Instead, I went to The Glass Shoppe, and was offered $141 more, for the same 2 coins. In addition to which, the owner praised the quality of my extra fine condition coins. I would recommend The Glass Shoppe, as the owner will tell you, Im a very eager buyer. HE pays the best prices in Tucson. Not these guys.
A great place to buy and sell numismatic items. The staff is friendly, honest and helpful. They stock a large variety of items. They have special deals that are worth looking at. I recommend stopping by this shop.
Very helpful and informative. I tell all my friends about them! 😄😊👍
Best place in town to sell gold, great price! I also went in to get proof sets for my kids birth years which they had in stock. Wonderful staff, very friendly and knowledgable. Love that they give back to the community to several local charities. Would definitely highly recommend.
I went unknowledgeable about the rare coins the Morgan and peace dollars some of them in the condition call very good (a VG 8) well worn with main features still there. While this particular 1889cc Morgan dollar I went to have it appraised then sell it. They told me that it wasnt worth no more than 40 dollars, so I sold it to them. Come to find out that no matter what coin that has the cc for Carson city is very value like 1,500 dollars in its worst condition. No more .
I had the best experience here. I had not been to a gold /coin dealer before. It was a safe, clean place with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Felt like I got a good deal and was treated with respect . I will definitely go back again.
Their ad says they pay the most for your gold and they were absolutely right. I went to Tucson Coin and Autograph then, took the same pieces to another gold dealer. Tucson Coin and Autograph beat the competition by A LOT! It was well worth the drive from downtown and I highly recommend them to everyone.
Very friendly service, all questions are answered in a professional manner. The staff all try to give you the best value for your $.
Great staff and very knowledgeable about history coins and autographs!
Have done business with them for several months, and have had no problems thus far. The people who works there are responsible, respectful, and fair. Would do business with again, and I would recommend to all.
Not sure how they can appraise coins without even looking at them. Dont waste your time and gas like I did.
I walked in and immediately felt uncomfortable by there looks. on top of that they didnt even look at what I had brought in,gave it a quick glance and said I have a cabinet full of those at 70 cents on the dollar I later took my stapms to old Pueblo coin, and found out I did have mint collectable stamps!!! Im so glad I didnt take the one guy who did give me the time of day advice to just use them as regular postage. Ya regular postage... Moral of this story, dont go to Tucson coin and autograph.
Gave me a very fair price for my silver. No complaints, very pleased
Guys are very negative about everything you bring there. They want to rip you off and tell you its not valuable so they can make a fortune. Dont go there
I have been doing business with this establishment for 20+yrs, never a problem and the best prices, I would recommend no where else.
The Best store in Tucson, very friendly staff...Good prices and service!!My local store!
Went in to see what my stamped 14k gold chain was worth as well as a collection of silver dimes. I handed older gentleman necklace for appraisal and he took one glance at it and dismissed it as a fake. I have never heard of a gold plated necklace being solely stamped as 14k without the 925 or nickel symbol too. He didnt take the time to even test it. During our short interaction, my 3 year old walked behind a display counter, that wasnt gated off, and the man scolded him immediately. I drove out of my way to come here based on previous reviews and was disappointed with the customer service. Didnt bother asking evaluation on my extensive coin collection. Wont be coming back .
I never leave a review but this store is only out to rip you off. I brought in wheat pennies that my grandpa collected. From my age till he past. There is 43 steel all three mints. 44 steel double die offset an 22 no mint. Just to much to list. But he didnt know any of that didnt even look just said ill give you two cents each. The guy couldnt look me in my eyes just treated me like trash I recommend Old Pueblo dont go Here at all ever its definitely a waste of time my review
Reasonable prices. Very professional. No problems.
I never leave reviews, but I was in here after spending about $200 per week for a month, and a guy who started talking to me in there during an very long wait time offered me his business card without me asking. Next time I went back the owner threatened to blacklist me if I ever talk to another one of his customers...even tho I explained that the guy started the conversation with me and was the one giving me his card. He was rude, insulting, and based on the offers Ive heard him make, they blatantly rip people off. He only offered one poor old lady spot for a pcgs graded ms66 gold st gaudens!! It is listed at at least $1000 more than they offered! Fortunately she knew they were ripping her off and said no thanks. Since then I have also said no thanks and choose to give my money to other, more honest coin shops. Maybe they will learn that how you treat people makes a difference!
Old grumpy men who are very rude.they cut you off in mid sentence I dont recomend going to do business there its just a waste of time and its happent twice never going again
The owner is direct and honest!
Guy was so rude i will never go back i recommends old publo coins
