My kind of store prices are better than others and you can buy food for 2 not in bulk

Been shopping here since moving to Tulare in 1982. Used to be the place to get your groceries, but lately their produce quality is bad, their meat has funky odors, have had to throw out at least 5 gallons of milk, 2 were like runny cottage cheese and 3 were sour and nasty. The staff has always been friendly though. But since I dont have money to throw away, Im shopping elsewhere.

I love the palace they have unique Mexican products they have a good selection of meats and vegetables and its affordable huge selection of products and theres even a free book grab shelf when you walk out. I have been going here all my life and its very organized and a part of the community.

Too expensive and not worth going anymore. . it use to be a qreat place to get groceries when youre on a budget... Not anymore... Careful with the meat cause some smells bad! Some reasonable thing can be found

Was fast and easy to find all I need and the workers so very nice.

Its convenient for me its just around the corner. The store is smaller than other stores but I like that they have several items I like there that other stores dont carry. Hardly a wait at the checkout also

Good place for quick grocery shopping. Deli section is small but offers are good. Produce section is the best with fresh vegetables and meat. Very comparable to Walmart prices or sometimes better.

Went in to buy a gallon of distilled water. Found the water, reasonably priced, paid for it and left.

Good veggies, fast food Chinese which is pretty good .regular grocerys,except credit cards,debt .only card not excepted is American express

Prices in some things higher than the big stores but have a good selection of less expensive meat. Have good sales and are alot less crowded. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Its a great store I mean u might not find everything u need der but I give it props for trying and its hella near to my pad so itz guccie!!

Not the cheapest or greatest selection but itf your close it has all the basics and a Chinese food place inside too.

Didnt like the hot food they sale there in the back . The Chinese food . It was old looking like its been there from yesterday and it was just like left overs very disappointed . And that Chinese guy that works there dont even were gloves . Hes handling food

Very happy that only one family was not wearing a mask. I felt much safer on this trip to get groceries.

Its close by and convenient. Some of the produce is not the freshest.

Cashier was the only helpful person in that whole store! I asked the workers for help and NO one knew the answer

Store is nice and clean. Check out lines cab be a bit long but, why are the employees so straight faced and serious ? Kind of makes me think twice about asking if I need help. When I do ask its as if Im interrupting the employee. Im thinking I may need to change where I do my shopping.

What can I say? Palace Food Depot has been around forever. Im completely satisfied with their prices of different cuts of meat, & fresh breads. Besides many people working in the area still chose to get there take out from the Chinese deli thats in the store from time to time.

Right On: If there is one place to go for you food store its the Palace, they have everything you need One stop shopping!! the store is always clean, the shelf is always full, and they have what you need( always). Good prices. However, when I bought carne asada I noticed some cuts were brown and a funky smell.

Been coming here for over 30 years. No place better, groceries are priced Right, great service, easy access to locate food. Love this place, this is an established food Mart, and I will only go somewhere else if just needing a few things. I used to go to R&N but they are way over priced. Several items I buy at the Palace, at R&N is easily $2 more. Ouch, not good!! Lighten up R&N I used to be your faithful customer, but no more!!!

Love this store for its low prices. Have compared it with all the other grocery stores around here. There is no comparable store than Palace Food Depot for me. Since 1973 thats how long I have shopped at this store!

Came in for ice and water. 4 stars because I didnt have to wait in line. Quick and easy but did have to walk around the entire store to get to the front.

Love Palace but the employees there believe they run the store and make their own rules. Ive gone to the store since I was a little girl and like that they have kept it the same through out the years. However they definitely have to something about their employees.I wish I could give it 5 starts but when customer service lacks it discourages you from wanting to shop there.

Clean far away store.

Good place and cheap great bakery. There staff just look run down all the time so when you go to ask a question they seem half alive. The mangers are rude and are not that helpful they have attitude towards couponers. Other than the managers and the staff looking rundown. Vary great place to shop for the prices.

Meats and produce always fresh. Prices are quite high though. Staff are very friendly.

Everything hard to find

Saw a woman yelling and acting crazy towards another woman and verbally attacking the other woman trying to pay for her food. I was shocked the employees did nothing to stop the woman that was yelling at the other woman. The store owners are lucky nothing happened,since nothing was done to shut the woman up I will not shop there again just for safety reasons alone.

Food is waaaaayyy OVER PRICED!!! The store is dirty and they sell expired food i bought a block of cheese and it smelled rotten checked date and it was expired ! Spend money elsewhere. Prices also went up more during pandemic .just bought this today dec 30 2020 this place is garbage !

This store is THE ONE that you must check for expired dates on everything! !!! YOU HAVE TO CHECK THE HAMBURGER MEAT THEY WRAP BROWN MEAT IN RED MEAT!!! If I could give this store a minus I would. It wasnt like this back in the day...go shopping else where

The meat section didnt have a meat cutter for deli meats and tried to cut by hand. Other meats looked good in package and when I got home to put them away the underside of the carne asada meat was already brown . I bout the big package for like 13$ and all the meat had big brown spots on it, from the outside of package looking in it seemed fine and fresh but one I opened to separate it, it was obvious the meat must have been arranged with a few fresh pieces on top with the majority of it being brown and discolored, I felt doped! I wont go back

Been shopping here since I was a kid but in the last year had several occasions where I had to throw out food tht was expired or rotten. If your buying something on sale make sure to check expiration date
