Randy was great! He explained my insurance so I could understand it. He gave me plenty of options to customize my lens. They were very busy but I was very impressed. Ill be sending my coworkers in next week:)
Can’t rate the service but I have experience with the staff. Called a day ahead to check if my insurance was accepted. I was assured that it was. Got to my appointment that I took time off work to go to, only to find out that they DIDN’T accept my insurance.Held no one accountable and didn’t offer an apology.It’s very clear they didn’t care about my time.
DO NOT USE THIS OPTICAL! They are extremely rude, neglectful and inexperienced! I worked in the field for many years and was appalled by them! We are waiting to get a refund, but of course no one will return our calls while they have $700+. Dr. Van has always been top notch. This optical service needs to go!
I have been in twice the last couple of months, both times the person helping me with my contacts has been rude! Today he was rude to a man alerting him know he had 3 customers waiting on him!! I won’t be back!!
If it were possible to rate this a 0, i would give it a -100. i showed up 15 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork as it was my first time there. my appointment was at 10:30, but i didn’t get called until 11:20 to start the eye exam. when i left, it was almost 1pm. not only was this wait frustrating as a had things to do, when checking out i was told that i didn’t know my insurance benefits & costs despite showing them the fees on my providers online portal with my ID card. they recommended i come with my parents next time, even though i’m a 22 y/o college student, because apparently i’m just too young to understand insurance. instead of paying $20 (as i have for EVERY EYE EXAM in the last 10 years of wearing contacts), i paid $85 and left fuming. however, once my dad called and told them the same thing i did, i was finally refunded the $65 i was overcharged. i wish this was the end, but it gets worse.when i ordered my contacts online, the company verifies that your prescription is valid & you’re a patient. my request was denied, and my order cancelled. when i called to see why it wasn’t accepted, i was cut off by the employee telling me that it’s not their fault and that i needed to direct my frustration at the contacts provider. after reordering and paying $45 extra to have my contacts express shipped because i now placed the order too late in the day, i called back to ensure that they knew it was my prescription and that it got approved, but my calls were not answered. SHOCKER!this establishment will go to the grave believing that they are always right, and has only provided horrible customer service in my two dreadful interactions with them. if you’re a college student at UA or someone who likes being treated with respect, i would highly recommend any other office but this one. i will never set foot in the office again.
Staff was friendly, not pushy. Very knowledgeable and patient. Id never worn contacts before and it took me a while to find a pair that didnt feel weird. They hung in there with me and never made me feel rushed.

Given the wrong contacts. Tried to have the issue resolved only to be told it was my fault. Friendly staff but not helpful and they don’t communicate.
