I was shopping around for a new vehicle back in August (2018) I had gone to look at a black Chrysler 300 they had on the lot, which is still there I believe. I test drove the 300 and really enjoyed it, and when we got back we told the salesman that we liked it, but this was the first vehicle we had looked at and didnt want to just buy the first thing we saw. He asked us about how we planned on paying for the vehicle and we told him that I had been approved for so much at ICCU and he said that he could check if they could get me a better interest rate through ICCU. He ran my info through, but it was late in the day so he said he would call us the next day and let me know what the bank said. So the next day he calls and updates me on the banks decision, and that he was able to get me a better interest rate which I appreciated very much. The other salesman then contacts us to tell us that we could take the car over to the shop my dad works at, and take a look underneath to check everything out. So we did, and everything looked fine I took the car back over to the lot and as I was leaving the other salesman asked me what I was gonna do. So I told him the same thing, this was the first car we had looked at and wanted to look around some more. He proceeded to ask me what other cars I was looking and told him about some Dodge Cargers and Challengers that we were interested in. My family is mostly a Mopar/Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge family, and I have always loved the Challenger. After telling him this he says I would never buy a Charger theyre garbage, I would maybe buy a Challenger because they look cool. He also told us that somebody else had just drove in to check out the 300 and that if I wasnt going to buy it, he would sell it to this guy. We said ok if it sells, it sells we wanted to keep looking. The next day we went to Boise to look at another 300, Charger and a Challenger. I got a call from the second salesman asking if we were gonna come get the 300 I told him I would keep them updated, because we had just arrived in Boise. After test driving the all the other vehicles I decided on the Challenger, and called back the first salesman to let him know I had made a decision. He told me I dont understand why you would go with that, after all I did for you. I told him thanks for all his help and said goodbye. All the first salesman had done for me was run a credit application, and the second one belittled my choice in cars. The place I bought the Challenger from when we told him we were looking at 300s and Chargers had told us how much he loved those cars too and then asked if we wanted to see what financing he could get. In the end the Boise dealership got me a better interest rate and gave me more trade in value for my other vehicle. I waited till now to leave my review because I did not want to post in the heat of the moment and say anything extremely negative. Overall I did not enjoy my experience here, but I still want to thank the salesman for their time.
