I have needed hearing aids for quite a few years. But I have always been reluctant to get my hearing checked. I finally went to have them tested and man I am sorry I didnt do it long ago. The staff at American Hearing Solutions was great. After testing my hears and setting the hearing devices on the computer I was amazed. The first thing they had me do was step outside and just try them. I couldnt believe the difference. I could hear birds and sounds that were so much clearer. I am thankful for my hearing aids. I did not know all that I was missing.

I had an very old pair of hearing aids (another brand) that AHS babied for years and finally purchased new WIDEX Evoke 440 from AHS Tyler Texas.I am very pleased with the WIDEX hearing aids, and AHSs service.Del knows hearing aids.

They redid the heating test of another Hearing Aid company and gave me some hope of being able to use hearing aids but then pushed me to use the brand of aid they wanted rather than the one I had chosen and I think that lead to my current disappointment. When I asked about the iPhone interface I was told its like all the others and was not offered any assistance in using it. If they had done this I would have seen their choice of aids were lacking the controls I wanted and could have chosen something that I wanted rather than the ones they were more comfortable with dealing with. In other words I made the mistake of taking their advice.To be fair, I had the choice of going back and rectifying the issues I had but choose not to. Also, their choice of aids were in the same league as the ones I wanted.

Great experience!! Totally changed my life! Never knew how much my hearing had failed.. but now thanks to Del I can hear things that I havent heard in years!!
