I was a client at the Athens, Texas office. I told them what I wanted and made 2 trips to Athens at 90 miles round trip each visit. They quoted a price of $1100.00 A few days later they contacted me and said that the product wasnt available at that price 🤔. They told me my price would be $1500.00. I said go ahead and order it. They said they would submit to the insurance company.The insurance company called me about 10-12 days later saying that my price was now $2500.00. I told them it was unacceptable and wanted the price I was quoted. They said thats the price and I should get in touch with etc hearing and discuss it with them. I called and spoke to the office manager and got nowhere! She said she would have the tech call me.The tech called me and said she spoke to the owner and they will get with the Insurance company and get the price down to where I wanted it. 6 weeks went by and I hadnt heard a peep from anyone. Then mysteriously the insurance company called and told me $2500.00. I said thats the same price as it was 6 weeks ago. The lady said she would call me back. 4 ( four ) minutes she calls back and says the price is $ 1900.00. I told them thats not the price I was quoted. She said thats all she can do. I called etc hearing and I am still waiting for an explanation.It looks like they are not living up to initial deal.To keep putting me off, leaving me in limbo not knowing what is happening is bad customer service.Thanks for reading this.......Steve Loud

Michael is the best! My dad has had many problems with his hearing aids but since he went to see Michael they are working better than ever!! And my dad said that Michael did not hurt him at all when he cleaned his ears out and did a great job. He said it was the first time that someone did such a good job and it didnt hurt like it usually does. So thankful to have found this place for my dad!

Monday, February 8, I had a hearing test at East Texas Hearing Aids, Chris administered the test and took all the time necessary to review the results of the test with me. His insight into my hearing deficit was remarkable; it was almost like he had been living with me. As a result, I am now hearing sounds that I have not heard in twenty years. Did I buy new hearing aids to replace my 7-year-old ones? Yes, I did and the change in lifestyle has been phenomenal. My wife is so happy she is not being besieged by What did they say? during every movie and tv program we watch. Most significantly, Chris recommended the newest technology by Oticon and they cost less than one-half as much as the ones I purchased seven years ago. This guy is a easy going non pushy and knows a lot about hearing aids. I didn’t buy from him as my hearing aids are only a few months old purchased in Houston but I wish I would have. He fixed and explained how to use and connect my hearing aids to my phone programmed them better than I have heard in along time.

I was referred to them from a friend and they didn’t take my insurance. So MICHEAL got set up with my insurance did the leg work and he was then able to set me up with the best hearing aids. I decided to go in and have my ears checked because I found myself saying “what did you say dear” 😂 way too often. I found out that my hearing is definitely not what it used to be. Michael was very outgoing and friendly and took the time to show me everything about today’s technology. I was very surprised at what they can do these days. Bluetooth, who knew!!!

Very pleasant experience. First, a hearing test, then I was allowed to use a pair of state-of-the-art hearing aids over a five day “test drive.” No pressure to buy them when I returned them, but likely WILL buy them because they work!

The personel were very good however i did not like the hearing aids that i tried and gave them back they have 30 days to return money electronicly i waited a week after the time was up and called they said they were taking care of it that day a few days latter i called again and i was told boss will be in the office tomorrow morn and return money...i will let u know if it was done or more stalling happens.
