This review is for Jose who I believe is the assistant store manager at the Union City, California location store # 0739. I would like to take time out of my day to share how Jose simplified my visit by assisting me and helping resolve issues that another general store staff member necessarily was not certain of. Jose took the initiative to resolve these matters in a very kind, efficient, professional, owner like mentallity, methodical manner. His approach demonstarated leadership, compassion, and expertise. I noticed how he remained engaged between staff and customer helping support both ends while assuring that every individual felt welcomed and were greeted upon entrance in addition to acknowledging those at the work stations by simply checking if there were any assistance that they needed. Thank you Jose for making my visit at FedEx a pleasant one. This is my local store location and so Ill be returning as needed and referring others here as well for any of their related need.
The worst carrier I can think of. I have ordered through UPS, USPS and DHL, none of their service is even close to as bad as FedEx is. Everything on their tracking site is perfect until the delivery day, all of a sudden the update changes to “No scheduled delivery date available at this time” and take a week to deliver. I wouldn’t use their stupid service ever again
Copy and Lamination tasks are placed 100% upon the customer, not on the business. You must guess the copy size by paying for the test size on the copy machine, not by staff behind the counter and their machines. Same for lamination as the machine is out for the public, again not behind the counter like other FedEx stores. The staff is trained to not accept any liability for potential services because its designed for the customer to be responsible.If your a copy, print and illustration guru this place is for you. If your a rookie, go to another FedEx store because this store will cost you more, minus the expertise and service . . . .

Slow and inefficient. Workers picked up a phone while helping me at the counter and walked off for 5 minutes while 3 people who came in after me finished and left before I even got helped. Strict about standing on purple circle away from counter for covid reasons but they got no ventilation in there with the temp set at a stuffy 70+ degrees. Sticker on door claims to accept nfc and apple pay but ancient machine doesnt accept anything but a physical card.
If I could give this place Zero Stars I would. This is one of worst FedEx I ever been too the wait is ridiculous. I understand COVID rules I’m fine with but to have me wait 30 minutes when there is only two people inside at the counter and four people in line is crazy. Also the workers don’t have the best attitudes
The worst customer service experience i ever had and it looked like none of the staff was happy to be there.
Just went to FedEx Office in Union City (Thursday 6-11-20 9am). I was surprised that the first hour is for 60+ on Tuesdays and Thursday. The gentleman that was working greeted us outside and only let 60+ in. I went in and was making copies for about 20 minutes. In that time the FedEx employee was not only helping the people inside but he was going outside and helping the people waiting outside. There were maybe 10 people that came up outside and he was getting there drop offs as well as helping them with pickup. And he had a positive up beat attitude for everyone. With the social distancing and face mask this is a difficult time for everyone. But he made everything work smoothly and in a timely manor. Great Job!! Thank You FedEx for caring about your customers and employees.

I love using printing service here which makes quicker, easier and cheaper than ups. And I met nice people here to help if I got some problems for printing.
I dont normally make reviews except for this one. Staff are not friendly at all and they have poor customer service. They couldve been nicer when giving directions to customers. Also, when you send shipment abroad, your recipient will still have to pay duties/local charges before they get the package. This wasnt communicated to me by the guy who assisted me - forgot his name.
I had visited the place in evening. Understandably, because of COVID they were allowing limited number of people inside, because of which there was a huge line outside. It was freezing cold and rainy outside and the staff inside were really slow and care-free of the customers outside. Particularly, there was 1 male staff, short-height-ed who was way too much talkative and slow.Please do not visit this place in the evening.
Went in for a Passport photo, but what they gave me looked too light. They just said Oh yeah the camera has been printing like that lately, it should be fine. Nope, the passport photo was rejected and Ill have to get it re-taken.
Bad service. Standing in line and waiting your turn is a waste of time. They decided who to help anyways.
Horrible location! I deferred a package to be picked up here on Saturday morning and had an employee pick it up. Unfortunately, the times on the main FedEx website as well as Google are currently incorrect due to COVID -- they dont open until 10AM on Saturdays versus the 8am listed. My employee was harassed and verbally abused because he wasnt over 60 and thus they wouldnt serve him. No indication that they would serve him after the non-posted senior hour and wouldnt work with us to give us the package outside. I dont blame them for having senior hour and would accept the falsely posted times because everyones are screwed up right now but there was no reason to treat my employee the way they did.

Marcus on 12/18 helped us alot. We have had bad experiences before here where people were rude and unhelpful making mailing international packages hard. But Marcus helped us with ease. I would promote him to train your customers or become a manager. Hes young but way better than the other workers. Fast service.
They refused to take a package that I need to ship out because there is a tiny hole on the box. However, the hole was caused by FedEx when they delivered to me. They act like their deliver service would provide the same amount of care to the packages.Fedex as a company is a freaking joke.

Terrible customer service ! There were 4 customers including me at this store around 3.45 PM. I was waiting for 30 minutes just to deliver the prepaid package and get a receipt ! Five (5) customer service agents were at the store. 3 of them were talking to one client ( one after the other ) in the printing section. Please advise whether Fedex has changed its business to printing and not shipping any more !!!
My first time here, I thought there were two lines. One for packing plus and another at the normal counter. People were hanging around in the middle. So I waited on the normal counter. Then the guy at packing plus says, “This is one line. Start of the line is here”. All of a sudden I’m now the tail of the line. Already waited 30 minutes, I have better things to do. Called corporate to complain and have some marker set up to indicate some line cue. They responded that they aren’t allowed to do that???Last straw for Fed Ex. Each store always seems to have some weird quirk. My company and I will solely use UPS for the time being. Sad!

If you ever needed proof that the free market doesnt filter out bad behavior, just look at this FedEx Office location. Cant wait for FedEx to go under. This location is absolutely worthless. The kiosks are completely broken, the ONE employee has no sense of urgency, and theres an awful droning sound from the air conditioning that really gets to you after waiting an hour to ship something that Google only accepts FedEx for.Terrible experience.

This place is trying to rip off customers. Went in there with shipping boxes perfectly wrapped and pre-printed label. The clerk behind the desk told me that the box is going to collapsed.The box came from Macys and autozone. All I did was open the box, look at the items, tape it back up, and put a shipping label on top. The clerks try to sell me their boxes and point to the single wall label on the boxes I am trying to send and said these are single use.If a box cannot be used twice, we may as well ship with metal crate for everything.

My sister went to this fedex office to return two boxes, and their was a line outside because of social distancing, and one of the male associates around 3:00pm was struggling with opening the door, so my sister helped him open the door, and another rude girl associate came telling her to stay far from us, and none of them told my sister thank you for opening the door
Its pretty incredible that FedEx has no way of scanning papers and sending them to an email account. Luckily there was a UPS location nearby which could help.

Wow, all the bad reviews were right about this place. I dont know if this is a franchise, but this lowbrow dishonest location is the worst. Maybe its just fedex, because I have nothing but problems receiving packages from companies offering free shipping.I was simply shipping back and item that was mistakenly sent to me. Used the box and the same packaging that it was sent in; minus all the labels on the outside, except for the pre-paid return label. This short heavyset curmudgeon shakes my box and then asked if she can open it. I say sure, but ask what the reason is. She said she could hear it rattling. Now, whats inside the box you ask? A plastic cellphone case, in its plastic original packaging. She say that the package can not be shipped like this, even though they delivered the package to me in this same state... Understanding that this is just a scam to extort the customer for money, I ask how much it would be to correct this issue.... $5!?!? Went to the car placed a bunch of napkins in the box to pad and returned where I was assisted by a different, taller heavyset curmudgeon. This guy took his sweet time retaping the box the previous person opened, while slowly walking back and forth from the packaging station to answer the phone twice. My package was finally shipped, but this experience was absolutely ridiculous.I highly dislike fedex, due to previous encounters, but this was the icing on the cake. I really hope that this company does go out of business, but its highly unlikely with all their free shipping corporate deals they have made. Our only hope is for corporations to drop FedEx, due to their unsatisfied customers, but in this day and age of greed, its highly unlikely. I will dance on their grave like snoopy, if they ever go out of business.Regards

My letter was sent to the storage after the first attempt to the receiver. Even though I had my return address on it they never tried to send it back to me. I called customer service and they wanted me to pay again to get my package back. There was no answer to any of my Qs: why they ONLY tried one time to get it to the receiver, why they did not forward it to the return address on the package!!!!
TERRIBLE location. The Asst. Manager named SARAH is a total *****. She argues with customers. She should be fired. No manager or anyone working dealing with other people should EVER have to deal with a woman with an attitude and disrespect of this chick. I have a Business Account with Fedex and have been shipping packages for more than 10 years. Went to drop off 2 boxes with pre-printed labels and one of the employees (witholding her name) refused to accept one of the boxes. When asked she said there was insufficient padding inside and she could hear the contents moving. I told her that the actual content (non-fragile) were actually packed in a small box and the small box was repacked in a bigger box and that I was ready to take responsibility if there was any damage in transit, but she still wouldnt accept. I then requested her to open the box and put some popcorn inside and bill me for it but ship it asap as it was a Fedex P1 shipment and it was nearing the cut off time.She still refused and wouldnt accommodate.I have shipped thousands of packages through Fedex and did not expect this kind of customer service.I usually dont write reviews but I was totally frustrated with this person.Also called Fedex and have lodged a complaint, hopefully some action will be taken.
The customer service was bad for the most part, the computers had viruses and froze and we had to keep restarting it. The apple cable was broken and we had to use someone elses phone to print and theres no wifi at all to send it to someone else. And after all of that our photo never printed out. I will never come back here to print a photo again.
