This review is specifically for Jillian M, she was my representative during my routine service. She was very polite and professional. She kept me updated with my vehicle in a timely manner and was readily available. She deserves to be recognized for her quality service, for I have not always had the best experience at Union, but she changed my mind. Thank you.
I truly believe that car buying and service experience can improve in general.REGARDING Union benz - Its like they want to sell the car and never want to see you again and if you come for a service, they want to charge you an arm and a leg. There is not customer satisfaction or providing the services which were promised during the sale. I bought new glc and was told free map upgrade for three years. Every time I called to check for the upgrade I was told that its not available. Right after three years, upgrade is available and for 300 dollars. No remorse or trying to work with the customer.I really hope I never have to go to them again and ever buy benz.
Service is expensive but you know its done correct the first time!!! I refuse to take my car anywhere else.
Always amazing service Harold king is the best service man
Dishonest pricing for car service/repair: I had a check engine light (CEL) on my vehicle, and the CEL was for PCV valve performance (I have an OBD2 scanner). I went to this dealer since it was the closest to me, and one of the service consultants quoted me $2,500 plus tax for the PCV replacement, telling me its an 11-hr labor. I asked them to do the safety recall repair first and call me before they begin the PCV valve replacement. I called another MB dealer (Morristown), and the service advisor there tells me its at most a 7 hr labor, and their initial quote was $1,900, which is consistent with what I found on the MB forum (some technician online said 5 hr job, but 7hr is much closer to 5 than 11 obviously) I told him I was quoted for $2500 at another dealer, and he says theres no way this replacement is going to cost you that much. So, I called back MB of Union Ray Catena (this dealer), and asked them to just do the safety recall fix because I found better pricing for the CEL fix; he asked, I told him 1900, and he asks me if they can just do the service for 1900 as well. I basically said not unless theyre going to offer discounts, and they called me back offering me around 1700. Maybe I wouldve understood a bit if the parts or hourly labor rate changed because of the covid-19 situation. But, they lied about the number of hours it takes to finish the job (almost doubled it), which is not acceptable and definitely not professional. Or, maybe it really does take them 11 hours to do something that other mechanics or MB dealers can do for less than 7 hrs. Whichever the case may be, I thought I would share this really bad experience I had with this dealer, so other potential customers can decide for themselves if they want to get their vehicle serviced here.
