New I was in the wrong place when the young man at the tire center told me 17” tires were never available on my 2015 jeep wrangler. Then wanted to argue when I told him that it did come with 17” tires because I bought it brand new!Told me that they couldn’t help because only 16 and 18” tires were ever offered. OMG!!Wouldn’t have been so bad if he didn’t want to argue and tell me that I didn’t know what I was talking about. If he’s not smart enough to figure out what tires belong on my car then how do I trust them to actually install them!!!!
It was awesome so many fun stuff a like
Always a great place to shop
Bought 4 brand new tires this past november. Waited 2.5 hours for someone to let me check them out and have them intalled for them to tell me, we only have 1 person working, we cant install your tires. Fine, no big deal, covid. I get it. I wasnt even mad that I had to wait that long. They couldnt install them any time in the near future. SOOO I had my husband install them. Now that I have a screw stuck in my tire, I cant get a replacement/repair bacause THEY WOULD NOT INSTALL MY TIRES! Will be getting tires somewhere else from now on. Would give ZERO stars if possible.
Was good one customer service and did things quickly
Its pretty bad: Saturday morning and nobody was at the front register for almost 30 minutes. 5+ hour wait to get an oil change. They have room for more help but apparently they cant keep workers from bailing out quickly. If you need quick service, try anywhere else in town....Walmart is the slowest
Young man in service center very polite and courteous. Returned year old battery no fuss full refund please look us replacement. Thanks for good service.
I needed a battery replaced that Michigan City failed to have. Michigan City kept my battery and the information needed to swap my battery. Not only did they act accordingly in trying to get my information from the Michigan City Walmart, they put him on hold for over 20 minutes, just so then the employee calls from his personal phone & they answer right away. They make him wait another 10-15 more minutes giving him the run around. I will gladly drive to Valparaiso Walmart then Michigan City anyday and will now have my business. Keep up the great work guys!
Call in the morning and made appointment for new battery. Tech found the battery I needed and made appointment. I show up, the battery is now out of stock, I have to get a cheaper one. Wait 2 hours to get an apology from counter that they pulled in a walk in before my vehicle.... So now I have to wait an additional hour for that to be completed before they can start the half hour work on my car.... Love wasting an entire Monday night without seeing my son before bed.
Bad experience all around they pick and choose service depending upon capability of the person working wasting people’s time by not answering the phone when called to set appointment the manager is never there go anywhere else but beating the price is difficult because of Walmart’s Chinese prices
Came in to get my driver side rear tire repaired they took my keys and told me that should be fine. Proceeded to wait 2 entire hours for them to tell me my tire was not repairable. I told them I could not get a new tire at the moment and they said they would take the car out of the bay and get me going, that took about another 30 minutes. Staff was very rude and clearly have no idea what they are doing. NEVER coming back to this place.
A nightmare. Dont waste your time
I know other people have had badexperiences, but I have no complaints whatsoever with mine. Associates were prompt and helpful. Prices were fair (not as cheap as I had hoped, but fair). Didnt take terribly long.
Great prices but horrible when it comes to making appointments for tire installation over the phone. Leave you on hold forever
So I took my 2009 Wrangler in for tire balance and rotation. Some lazy guy states my tires are unsafe and worn. Problem was I knocked the balance thing on my New tires so I just wanted it balanced. When I first arrived they said 1 hour. 4 hours later they closed and said I have worn tires. My tires have less than 400 miles on them. So my guess is they just wanted to go home. I get it nobody likes to work. But this is just pure laziness.Point is spend the money where the car guys really know what they are doing.Meyers is about done and can’t wait. I promise to never go back to Walmart
Scheduled an appointment to get four tires installed, drove half an hour to the appointment and was told their system double booked appointments and on top of that three employees called off, so it would be an hour before they could get me in and another two to put the tires on.
Always get my oil changed here. Never had an issue, then they broke the latch to my.hood and basically refused to fix it themselves. Now Im $150 lighter because they couldnt pull a lever correctly. I also went to get my battery charged and they killed it in the parking lot themselves and refused to help jump it. Pretty shameful. Save yourself the hassle and honestly go anywhere else.
Took my car in because my tire had a nail in it. They told me it would be a 3 hour wait and could leave my car there and they would call me when it was ready. They told me to leave my keys in the car for them (which I thought was odd), scanned and checked me in and gave me my ticket. 3 hours went by and I didn’t receive a call so I decided to call. Guy told me that they never took a look at the tire because they didn’t have the keys since we didn’t take them to the front desk (not what they told us to do). They were closed and wouldn’t get to it till the morning. They had no intentions of calling me at all or working on my car. I’m from Louisiana and in town for a family funeral and now can’t get back home in time for work on Monday. One of the worst customer services experiences I’ve ever been a part of. TAKE YOUR CARS SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I recently got tires installed for my Versa. I booked appointment through phone to install set of tires that I wanted. When I got there, technician realized tires I wanted did not have proper speed rating. He helped me find few options of tires that would fit. But those tires were not present at the store so I booked an appointment for another day. Service was very professional throughout the whole process. Staff there is very helpful and hard working. I think management should recognize their performance and thank them. I would go to Walmart in Valparaiso again to install tires for another car in next year or so.
Ive called the Valparaiso center for information twice. On the first call I was given wrong information about pricing. On the second call the girl was rude. I asked how much, totally, the cost would be and she repeated the individual prices and told me to add them together.Really?? You cant perform common customer service?I asked her I need to know the total with tax and she said, I dont have a calculator.Youre at work, right? No thanks. My business and money are going elsewhere.
Nothing like walking through and seeing the guy drop my $700 factory rim face down in the concrete and then even continue to work on it face down on the concrete. It was especially nice to see him pissed off and act rude when I walk out with the manager to figure out which one he did this to.
Great prices, always cheapest here. Sometimes they can be better staffed, but still worth the savings.
Good work just the fill in guy Dan with 20 yrs at Wal-Mart was rude towards myself and a elderly woman.
I went into the tire shop to get 4 tires. I was informed by the person behind the counter that there would be a wait in excess of 3 and a half hours. There were zero vehicles in the garage and the employees that worked in the shop were outside talking and not working at all. You may have had decent prices for tires, but I took my business elsewhere. If there was a line of vehicles or vehicles in the garage thats one thing, but when there is nothing in the garage and employees are jacking their jaws outside watching me leave that is ridiculous and unacceptable. I will never shop for tires or use this shop again. I will also tell all my friends and family as well not to go here. Tire Barn is right down the road and got me hooked up with much better service.
Nice staff working every time Ive been in.
Got my oil changed and immediately after leaving my brake light came on and my brakes aren’t working properly. Now they won’t answer the phone. F*** you walmart
This place is a joke at best it has a bunch of people acting like they know how to fix things in your car on your car or even acting like a pro DONT GO THERE THEY HAVE NO CLUE AND ONLY AFTER WAITING FOR OVER TWO HOURS DID THEY SAY THEY COULDNT DO THE JIB. CHEAP ISNT WHAT YA WANT AND THEY ARE
YOU PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO WORK ON CARS. NO VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN IN A WALMART GARAGE (IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT THAT) IS SAFE TO BE ON THE ROADS. A SIMPLE TIRE CHANGE WASNT EVEN DONE RIGHT. A TODDLER WOULD REMEMBER TO TIGHTEN THE LUGS ON THE TIRE BEFORE THE CUSTOMER(DRIVER) LEAVES. MY FIRST TURN IN THE PARKING LOT MY TIRE WENT ONE WAY AND CAR WENT THE OTHER NOT TO MENTION ALL THE DAMAGE THAT WAS CAUSED TO THE ROTOR AND AXLE AFTER IT SCRAPED THE ASPHALT. SAD EXCUSE FOR A SERVICE CENTER TO SAY THE LEAST
Absolutely awful. They had 2 bays open and 4 technicians working oil changes. The service representative quoted 2.5 hours with 4 cars ahead of me. I quickly got the feeling he didnt want me to say i would wait. I ended up going to jiffy lube on morthland dr. Eight minutes later my car was done with more services than they offered at wal mart.
They are friendly there but be prepared to wait!
Very quick and efficient service!
BEWARE! DO NOT THWM MOUNT, BALANCE OR ROATATE YOUR TIRES. I just had to rescue my mom off the side of the road, 2 miles after leaving walmart because they didnt tighten the lug nuts on her left front tire which subsequently broke all 4 studs and sent her careening into onck.in traffic. Feel free to message me for pictures. THIS IS NOT THE END OF THIS!!!!
The worst I have had. Bought a battery 12/2016 for my car, took car back with bad battery 3/2017 they checked and said it was fine. Took car to ford dealer they said bad battery, returned car to walmart 5/2017 this time they got it right, after one tow truck and 4 jump starts later. Walmart sucks!!!!!!!
Took 3 hours to put a new tire on after they said it would be an hour and a half. Then since my break light was on, they wouldnt put the tire on the car. Funny thing is, is that the rim I wanted the new tire on, was already off the car. So now, theyre telling me that its another 3 hour wait just to mount the tire.
CALLED FOR DAYS !!!! NO ANSWER OR SOMEONE PICKED UP PHONE AND HUNG IT UP!
Everytime I come to walmart to have anything done its always over a 2 hour wait its ridiculous those poor guys need help!!!
Got extra discounted tires twice!! Lucky me!
It sucked when let me connect to the internet and had to wait two hours to get a tire put on the car they said it would only take a half hour
They helped to replace new tires on my vehicle. Thank you!
Extremely disorganized.
Unacceptable work and except no responsibility for their faults
Very show service at counter. Waited 40 minutes before any extra help arrived.
They broke four studs off a damn car. Public Safety is number one. Sam Walton would be ashamed
Only reason i gave 1 star is so i can leave a review what kind of establishment is open but only has certified techs for oil changes until a certain time.if your open til 7 pm staff certified people til then
Friendly staff, good tires, clean bathrooms
2 1/2 hrs to do oil change and tire rotation.
Not very fast. Wait times can be high depending on what time of the day you go.
Had to wait to be waited on for oil change.
Told me they could not fix a hole in my tire it was to big without even taking the tire off the vehicle or the nail in the tire.
Check your lugs and oil plugs
1.5 hrs for an oil change.
Very accommodating
There is a long wait most of the time
Good..
Staff sucks
A+
Poor service
Never answer
