Great products, service, and environment. Pretty much everything is in Spanish, but if you ask nicely, workers will be happy to help translate for gringos like me. Could be a little cleaner, but its no dirtier than a lot of grocers/mini marts Ive been to.
This is my favorite place for all things Latino! I have been to other places and this one has the best selection of items. The staff are half friendly half not.The more you come the better they treat you.The pan is so good, although if you dont know what it is by just looking at it too bed. It changes and the staff is hit and miss when you ask for help.Meat is great quality and fair priced. They have all kinds of chile, items to make Mexican specialty dishes, lots of candies, and a little bit of produce that I would skip unless you really need it.It is a tight squeeze to get around in it as you can see by the pictures its fully stocked. The parking is not much better, when it is empty from customers the delivery trucks take up most of the space.
Very friendly counter help, cashier always has a smile. The butcher always has the freshest and pre seasoned/marinated meat. The tamales are fantastic. Great place for real Mexican Grocery.
Most of the items are reasonably priced. This grocery store sells religious items as well like rosaries, candles. It has a selection of exotic spices at the back of the store. The only thing I dont like in this store is the tight aisle. Mercado Latino has also a snack section located just right beside it.
Not really happy with it. Place was a bit smelly kinda like rotten food. Sweet bread use to be really good, moist and flavorful but today its dry and very plain. A bit too expensive for not being good. Probably just gonna look for another bakery.
This place was great. Very clean, friendly staff, and stocked with everything I needed for cochinita pibil. It can be hard to find real Seville orange juice, banana leaves, and achiote seeds to make fresh paste. They had a wide assortment of fresh meats and veggies along with frozen seafood and canned goods. Highly recommend.
Man I go to this place very often and may last review was a 3 starts now is a five do to an improvement on customer service, keep it up good job!.
First time stopping in, and cant wait to go back for more. Brought home some pastry selections and everything tasted amazing. Their cakes were impressive and cant wait to try. Next visit Im bringing home some of the seasoned meats from the butcher section.
Completely ignored when trying to order meat. Several customers who came in after me were helped. I left without the ingredients I needed to make dinner for the night, with no other neat markets open anywhere near.
Very rude cashiers and always 🪰 flying over the bread! Disgusting
The best Mexican pastries at an incredible price
Kinda junkie. Definitely a language barrier.
Place is dirty! Bought 6 pounds of meat and Everybody Who Ate It Got Sick! Everyone Got Food Poisoning!! Don’t Go To This Place! You Will Get Sick !
I love Mexican products from my country, especially the sweet bread thts why I like to go there.
Authentic Mexican store great bakery nice friendly staff if your looking for anything Mexican youll find it here.
Terrible experience here. I will never return.
Authentic Mexican market... doesnt get any better than this in Vancouver.Try the marinated Asada and of course the pastries!
They have rompope cake and were able to make that cake in less than 24 hours. The cake was beautiful and delicious and the price was fair. They also have other premade ones ready if you choose not to custom order.Pros: cake selection and order, meat options, dessert options, spices and other Latin necessaties all available there.Cons: tight aisles because they just have so much to offer in a small space.
A lots of products too choose a lot of Mexican stuff nice place
This is a great place to go. I love their fresh pastries and they make great birthday cakes or cater Mexican food as well. Theres a fresh meat section, produce and other Mexican treats.
Great place to get mexican groceries and snacks, they now have a new snacks only place that sells loads of goodies and cravings, manginadas, esquites you name it
Really like the meat selection for cooking when we do our own street taco night. A large selection of dried beans as well. Prices are very reasonable.
Great little market full of helpful & friendly employees. Nice panderia and meat 🍖 counter.
Perfect, the store has all the things that I cant find in the regular grocery store. Its unique. Love it
This is a great place to shop! Real authentic products, fresh bread and home made tamales. This has been a market in the community for many years. I also enjoy supporting local businesses that offer great services. Plus a meat market for all your BBQ or homemade needs. I have been coming to this market for 5 years now and I have always enjoyed shopping here for all my authentic cooking needs. The prices are reasonable on most of the products and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I would DEFINITELY! Recommend stopping by to enjoy all the fresh products they have to offer. I will continue to do my shopping here as long as they continue to offer there great service
Do you need rare Mexican ingridients? Carne asada? a Comal or dough for tortillas? this is the place to go in Vancouver, fresh meat, all as if you where in Mexico. They also have typical pastries (pan dulce) and spices. Mexican Sodas and candy. Prices are fair, I give them 4 stars because the place is not very clean
Nice clean tienda.
Yes is good. The pupusas next door is are good too. The place not so much so you risk it....lol
They Should have more control over their clients Some do not wear the mask and they serve them. I saw the 3 times I visited this place.I wont be back.
They got the best cakes in there than that money can buy
Delicious cakes at good prices!
Is to hot inside on the store
I dont know. Cuz i never went here.....why is Google trying to frame me right now? Lol
I love this store. You all carry my favorite snacks and I love the Tamales, Carnitas, Chicharones and pan.
Best carnitas in vancouver
Great food, excellent service real friendly; i got wind of this place from a co worker and recommend to anyone/everyone
Theyve had everything I needed only bad thing is the isles are so small kind of hard to maneuver a wheelchair in thier
It was closed and they had a line around the parking lot and didnt tell anyone they were closed until each person got to the window.
I love the tamales. Best I think I have ever had. Service isnt necessarily the best but I think that is also because I dont speak Spanish.
Delicious tamales and great cuts of meats.
Very helpful and cheerfully dedicated to the customer
I love shopping there. Their bakery and meat sections have a great selection of products. Regardless of the limited space, they manage to keep it nice and clean! Good job Mercado Latino!
Great little store with great food and product
Its okay
I really like this market because I can find many foods that I like
Get the find some hard to locate spices in Vancouver their tamales are great service is good
A hole in the wall that mostly the latino community around it knows about. Personally their chorizo was delicious last time I tried it as are their pan dulce. The place is a little run down for my liking but they have good prices and tons of friendly staff to show you what ingriedents to get if your trying to make any kind of latino dish.
Great place with authentic Mexican food, and candy. I visited different stores in Oregon and Vancouver areas and so far is my favorite, stay away from the pastries! They are too good : )
Nice place to shopping. friendly staff 👍👍
I enjoy this market, lots of good food and spices. They have plenty for all!
Good selection of Hispanic products. I tried their tamales and they are delicious!
Everything you need in one stop and the best pan dulce in town!If you need ingredients to make things fresh at home, they have just about everything here. A great selection of fresh carne (meat), chiles, spices, queso (cheese), and even masa. Also a great selection of prepared foods, carnitas, tamales, pan dulce (sweet breads of ALL kinds-donuts, conchas, bread pudding, many more! Try my new favorite* sugar donut filled with arroz con leche- rice pudding), torta bread, and more. The store also has a good selection of things for a small Latino store, produce, milk, canned goods, soaps, coffee, tortillas, etc...and even tamale pans small to extra large. If you are new to Mexican And Latin cooking, dont be afraid to ask for help. I have found the staff very nice and helpful.
Great deli, best chicharonis in Vancouver
Best panderia ive ever had ....Nice people
I like it... its really nice and I can find everything I want. Don Max, Matin, Ketita, Moni y Eneida are very good employees. They are always very nice and friendly.
Amazing food and super nice people
Great meat and pastries
Its a great store, just wish I knew the prices for certain food
Ok
Check the food before you buy. Found a worm in the Mangos with chili powder.
The building needs major renovations, does not meet saftey requirements, such as 2 blocked emergency doors, very dim exit signs & the bathroom is disgusting
My go-to place for Mexican pastries. Have tried mercados all over the Portland-metro area and this one by far has the best selection and freshest. Favorites are the corazones - always crisp and glazed the perfect amount, and the pastel de mil hojas, which I cant seem to find anywhere else.
You go and get want you need. In over 15 years maybe more unpleasant moments. Maybe im just someone who liked things in order and it’s my point of view.
Got some tamales very dry and hard, they tasted like they were from days ago.
Unfriendly staff forsure but they have some decent Mexican goods.
Average prices and a lot of real Mexican stuff, if youre Mexican taste inclinate, for sure you will find all the ingredients you need here
They have a good selection of Mexican style meats, but I found them to be a little too pricey for me for the value.
Unfriendly people who work there. Was made.to feel very unwelcome.
Great place to find shop for most of your Mexican food and products.
Awesome experience, lots of Mexican products, friendly staff
I like the store because everybody helps you and Monday I did not have a hand cart to help me one of the people that work there were happy to carry the stuff for me put it on the counter show me what I was looking for and their kindness bilingual its really good to feel comfortable in a store
Great place have a lot of great things but the store is small and kind of crowded
Good service ; clean ; enjoyable good products ; fair prices I will be a returning customer....fun place to shop
A local Mercado for all your specialty needs. Customer service is veryhood, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was on store to get supplies for tamales. So Yes! I will be going back for more.
Great store
NEVER send money (like a western union) through this place, it gets conveniently lost in the wires. Staff speaks good English and are friendly.Only real saving grace here is they have AMAZING tomales.
They have great food at good prices.the staff is very friendly
Great place. Good service. I requested a salsa its hard to find and in less than a week it was on the shelf. Caritas on the weekends and tamales are great.
Expansive selection of spices, fresh meats and pastries. Quality is good, and staff is helpfulMy favorite tiendo latino in Vancouver!
Only place I like, meat is fresh and great selection. Bread, wide selection, they put out fresh baked conchas every few hours, enjoyed the birthday cake I bought here as well, fresh fruit on it and inside was moist and tasteful.
Very good Pollo tamales green
Great food! One of my favorites
Great fast service . Great food
One of my favorite places amazing snack not much help but its a great store
Europa market is my favorite European grocery. I can find lots of food items I use in my Hungarian recipes.
Great customer service and lots of variety of latino food products. Mucho goodo!!!!
Love this place!! Best tamales in town, fantastic people, great service. Muy Bueno!
Today is 5 stars i wait for 10 days see if my chicharon conis still smell normal.
The meat steak to expensive, befour mothersday, ranchera meat 10 dls. for lb, the cut is not fine, I dont recommend this place theres better places with lower prices .
Good but its crowded the store needs to get a bigger location.
Its okay. I go here for their bakery. Sometimes the cakes are really fresh and other times its a missed.
Fabulous food and supplies, wonderful people who work there.
Ive been coming to this place often but lately Ive noticed a few things that make me question their service. I think their scales at the meat department must be rigged or something cuz theres no way that 3 pieces of ranchera meat would be over 18 dollars. Also when you go to check out make sure you know how much items you are paying for because Ive seen numerous people get over charged. Always check your receipt.
