I was greeted when I walked in, but no one ever offered to help me. The customer service is non-existent. I found what I liked and what home to order it.

I had a great experience at this West Elm location. Im thrilled that West Elm came into Vernon Hills - much more convenient than the Oak Brook store. I was greeted when I entered and multiple people said hello and asked if they could help as I made my way around the store. This was a weekday late afternoon. The store is laid out nicely and the people are friendly.

Walked into the store today to check out some items I saw online. I was definitely greeted and offered help by at least two salespersons and actually helped by one. Really nice store.

I usually dont leave reviews but I agree with the lack of customer service. Walked in with three staff members chatting with no hello and one staff member walked past with no hello or can I help you as I was clearly looking for a piece of furniture. Was in there for about 20 minutes then walked by them and no have a nice day....nothing. They actually did this to the next three people who walked in as well. I took my business elsewhere. Yikes West Elm VH, even the most high end furniture stores have staff that acknowledged you!

The quality of their product is very low for the price. We recently threw out a large rug we purchased from them less than two years ago. It shed large amounts of wool, I needed to vacuume everyday and I would need to empty the drum weekly because it would fill with so many fibers. We also bought a sleeper sofa which all the pillows have lost their shape, and sharp pieces of metal are coming out of the bottom front.

Terrible customer service. Walked in to order a table and the sales people never asked me if I needed help. Walked past them several times. Nothing. Just kept chatting. Go somewhere where people want to work. Just terrible

The folks that helped me pick out and design my furniture in store where very kind, but I was told completely inaccurate delivery date. I spent A LOT of money, full dining room and living room, have paid for it all, and 3 months later still have no furniture in my house. I was charged twice for items I didn’t want (am still awaiting my credit) and in addition my furniture was not delivered the day it was supposed to be (3 months late) and I’m still waiting to hear back. So I will now have the holidays with no living or dining room furniture. NEVER AGAIN, RUN!!!! No customer service or respect once you pay a small fortune.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store and for some reason that doesn’t warrant respectful customer service. Whatever you do- don’t call them and expect to not be put on hold for 20+ minutes and THEN get extreme attitude from the person on the other line. Really sad.
