This store is awful. My husband called to put a phone on hold. He was just going to buy the phone outright, no upgrade, new line of service or transferring anything needed. The plan was to take care of that ourselves. When we get there, we stand there for about 20 minutes before someone finally comes out of the back room and asks what we are here for and we explained the situation. They took down our contact information and told us to wait in our car. We complied, but the more we thought about it, it just sounded absolutely ridiculous since all they would need to do is ring up the phone and check us out. My husband went back in and saw the associates helping people who came in AFTER us. We just left after that and purchased the phone on Amazon. Guess what? We still haven’t gotten a call back and we drove all the way home 45 minutes away. It’s honestly laughable. I would never give this store a dime or go back here for anything. If this is your definition of quality customer service, you should really re-think that.
I bought a phone online and less than a week later it wasnt trading my SIM card, so I had to take it here. I knew they get very busy so I tried to get in as early as I could, and that worked out. I was helped right away. Unfortunately, they couldnt get my phone working and had to replace it, so I was there for quite a while- close to 90 minutes. Everyone was very nice, so although I had to wait a while, it wasnt so bad.
Went into the store and said we wanted an iPhone 12- we were told to wait in our car because of Covid, after 30 mins my husband finally went back in to see when our name would be called (we had our baby in the car with us), just to be informed they HAD NO IPHONE 12s. Thanks for wasting our precious time for no reason.
I was at this location on Monday. Alvin took care of all my needs in short order. There is nothing like efficient customer service. Alvin is an asset to this location and I will return in the future if I need anything further.
Jesus at Vernon Hills is the best I returned specifically for him outstanding service, patient and very detailed . If you want excellent customer service I would highly recommend Jesus.From splays great integrity and he goes above and beyond. He sits down and explains your options.

Letty was absolutely fabulous. I had a few issues and she patiently helped me correct every one. She also helped me update to a new phone and stayed with me until I was feeling good about the transferring of information from my old phone and many of the operational changes with the new phone.
Service was fine but the rates are high and trade in on a new phone was low. Competition has better rates and way better trade in value for my 10X

Letty was Awesome!!! I dont understand technology at all and needed to update my phone. She gave me many choices and explained all the pros and cons. She helped me make sure everything was transferred and what was new on the new phone.You should give her a bonus or a raise so she doesnt leave!Thank you so much Letty!!!
Though we made an appointment, we still had to wait half and hour. Trying to determine which phone to buy, we lingered in the store checking out similarities and differences between the various iPhone 12 models but were asked to leave. When finally called in, we we’re very pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service we received from Letty Felix at the Vernon Hills store. We had a multifaceted issue hoping to upgrade my phone and switch our landline number to my old iPhone (6-very old!). Letty provided us with great information and asked all the right questions to guide us to the right choices for us. She was even able to find ways to bring down the cost of our monthly bill! She is the reason we stayed with AT&T!

I wanted to upgrade to a new phone and they told me to wait in the car and theyd call me in 20 minutes. After I tried checking in periodically a couple of times over the next 2 hours... YES, TWO HOURS, they decided they didnt have time to talk to me tonight. REALLY???? Because someone was on lunch at 7:20... um, you close at 8. Anyway, no I will never ever waste 2 hours of my life in my car in your parking lot again. Everybody in this AT&T store should be fired. I will go to Abt tomorrow and buy my phone.
The customer service was outstanding. I cannot recommend Letty enough. 5 devices needed to be traded in, a plan change, an insurance issue resolved, a new phone purchase, and a payoff on my old phone to complete. I came in early for my appointment by about 20 minutes, Letty still had me out the door in under an hour.

We stopped in today to talk w/ somebody about our AT&T plan that we have for our cell phones, internet and landline, yes, landline. Christian was the associate that helped us. He was very friendly, patient & kind. We are in our 60’s and needed a little “extra help” understanding some of the issues. He also helped “fix” 1 of our cell phones & clearly explained to us what he did should it ever reoccur. He is very knowledgeable & made us feel very comfortable asking him many questions. We have had accounts w/ AT&T for 44 years and plan to remain w/ them as long as they have associates like Christian. Thank you.
Went to this store about 2 weeks ago to fix a voicemail issue, I was halfway in the door when they asked what my issue was. I explained it and they said I had to contact customer support. After failing with customer support, I went to another location and they fixed it in 5 minutes. Dont be lazy, pathetic service here.

I wanted to upgrade my phone so I made an appointment online and I had to wait a whole week for an available time slot. I got to my appointment time and they told me to wait in my car, after 30 minutes in my car I checked back with them they said they would call me to let me know when I can come in. They never called me back.The following week I come in so I can get on the list and they said they would call me in about 35 minutes since there was one other person in front of me. 2 hours have past and Im giving up on this store in Vernon Hills. Im going to the Buffalo Grove location.
Only due to limited staff did I have to wait a while, however how a business combats a long time of service can out weigh a negative impression for me. I had received great service! The best service I’ve had ever as for phone service companies. Thank you to the amazing staff at the Vernon Hills location in Illinois. Happy 2020.

Great service! Christian was clear and expedient in helping my brother replace his broken phone. We didnt even make an appointment but he swiftly got the phone we were looking for, explained the AT&T Next program, and set up the iPhone with a screen protector and even disinfected it.Its great to meet such happy and helpful people in this challenging time.

My father is a engineering manager for AT&T and I’ve never had a worse experience at a AT&T store. For starters since we do upgrade and buy accessories often, I’m use to going to store fronts to get help. We all purchased the new iPhones and 2 of us were having trouble getting it set up. After watching videos, reading instructions etc. I wanted to get help setting up both of the phones and giving them our old phones. As I have been in many AT&T stores I know that the store employees including manager is supposed to approach you if there’s no one at their desk so they can get you sign into the waitlist. Me and my friend stand in the store for 5 minutes waiting on a women that is completely by herself at her desk to approach us. Sadly she didn’t feel we deserved the customer service. We then go to her desk and have to initiate contact to ask about the wait etc. When we do this she tells me she won’t be able to get to me and that I need to just go online and figure it out myself. We were a bit confused because I already told her that I tried and was having trouble. She then says it could be a 3 hour wait because they have 9 before on the waitlist and only 4 employees. For each employee to not be able to assist one customer a hour is also mind blowing to me. Showing that they may not be trained correctly. Even though the wait is long we then have to ask to get on the waiting list because she was basically just trying to make us leave the store. She then gets my info and tells me I could be helped tonight or they would contact me tomorrow to reschedule if needed. That was 2 days ago. I’m unsatisfied with the little help i got and I never received a follow up call. I will be taking my business to other AT&T store fronts and actively telling my peers that use AT&T to not visit the Vernon Hills store. I hope this review is informative and helpful for anyone deciding to do business at this store. ✨
I came to this store last night and told the manager, Jim, that I needed a new iPhone to replace my wifes phone that suddenly died.I told him that it was urgent since my wife was very sick, and we waited for calls from the doctors and labs.Jim was friendly but did not help me. I waited for some 20 minutes before he told me that he had to check their inventory and went to the back room.In 1/2 hr. he came back and said that they did not have the phones.Then he quickly checked inventories in all other stores and sent me to Mundelein store where the manager took great care of me.If he could check inventories of all stores, why did it take him 1/2 hr. to check his? The answer is: he probably had something else to do, so hew lied.
My experience was great ! I want to say the target sales people that represent At&t in mundelein really need to learn there job. Anyway,,, The rep at VH store fixed the mess the other guy did and Im pleased with my new phone.Ty so much

We are seniors and are not very technical. We needed a new phone and went into theAT&T Vernon Hills IL at 445 E Townline Rd 60061. We were so lucky to receive Mario Tovar as our sales consultant. He was patient and took his time explaining and setting up our new phone. Mario is a great asset to AT&T. He is definitely worth 5 + stars.

We had a very difficult situation transferring from an old phone to another. The old phone company wouldnt release the previous phone #, an old past due bill, etc. Christian was extremely patient, respectful and helpful to get us through the steps we needed to get the port activated, etc. We appreciate all that hes done. Great guy!
Jessie is absolutely amazing!! She was wonderfully attentive to all customers and helped us through every step. I was already upset from visiting another location that didn’t help at all, but she calmed me down and resolved the issue. Rather than making assumptions she frequently asked for clarification and checked in with me. She made a really frustrating situation as painless as possible. Thats right... A five star rating after spending over an hour figuring out our phone situation. Why? Because of Jessie. She helped me and my parents change our plans and get our new phones. She broke everything down, was patient with my folks, and was kind to the core. Ive never really had a pleasant experience having to go to the phone store but Jessie was absolutely wonderful and made the experience enjoyable. So if anyone reads this, ask for an appointment with her if you need assistance.
About a week and a half before Christmas I purchased 3 phones and a case from AT&T Vernon Hills as Christmas gifts. The phones were hits, but my son did not want the case I purchased. On my first day off of work since the holiday I attempted to return the unopened / untouched case to the store and was told of the companys 14 day return policy and that nothing could be done to help me. I am a long time loyal AT&T customer who knows that I pay higher prices that competitors, and has historically received very good customer service levels in-line with paying higher prices. If baffles me as to why the business has elected to uphold the 14 day policy for a brand new untouched item costing $50 that was purchased at the same time that well over $1000 of phones was purchased. Be very wary of doing business at AT&T Vernon Hills.

When we check in on that store, waiting time how they told us was 15min. After 1 hour of waiting time we ask how long we need to waiting, The manager of store is very unprofessional and very busy with her staff and she said we just need to waiting, she don’t know how long, that means she doesn’t know how to manage with her staff and customers service becomes that is not her priority for sure.

Absolutely useless and incompetent staff. From a the first employee to their manager.As soon as we got checked in - in 15 min a guy comes over to us to see which question we have. As soon as we explained it - no adequate action from a person who was labeled as manager. “I need to have one of the other guys take care of you”. As soon as I asked to expedite our request I met only a rude answer + “would you like to schedule appointment to avoid waiting(even though it doesn’t work, trust me). After another 20 min wait we had a representative helping us out with attitude and 0 knowledge of what she was doing and what she can do. To all of our questions there was always no good answer. To all of our questions there was someone else who could answer them, but definitely not at this store(we’ve been told that straight forward). The finale point was when they called a manager(yeah-yeah, the same guy who didn’t help us the first time), said absolutely same silly thing he did the first time. “I can’t help you. You need to talk to someone else”Everything we had at this store was just a waste of time and frustration.

After calling the president, his head secretary Kathy said i could get $300 off with a trade, it was indeed wrong information because it was for an iphone 6s and above, i went to various at&t stores and i was told they could not help me. then i walk into the vernon hills store & low & behold i come across jessie. she directed me in the right direction, she gave me all the appropriate information & i ended up with a better deal than i have ever imagined. i also left with an additional credit for all of the hassle. i got the phone in very rapid time (next time you send by fed ex should be signature only) . I got a iphone 11 256 gb for an awesome price, and all my friends wont believe me! My wife included! Im going to bring my wife back when its time for her to upgrade! My business Arlington School of Music a division of the Arlington Institute of Music & Preforming Arts account has been with At&t since Illinois Bell around 1936 & will continue to be thanks to the outstanding service provided by Jessie Avila!
