I am their costumer about 5 years and usually Dogan take cares of my hair and John takes care of my teenage daughter’s hair. I think the best way to explain their exceptional work is to tell you all how many compliments I get after visiting them from my work and people around me most importantly, make me beautiful.Let them know the history of your hair, what you have done to your hair before your visit, also ask them their opinions they will give you the best possible care for your hair (types,color history...)

I am new to the area, so I did a lot of research to find the right salon where I could get a balayage and haircut for a reasonable price; finally I allowed myself to trust the Google reviews and came into the salon in early November after booking an online appointment and explicitly indicating the services required.The front desk lady was very nice and courteous, same for the hairdresser who conducted the services. My issue came when the hairdresser proceeded to tease individual strands of my hair in order to apply color. I realize this might be a normal technique for balayage in some cases, but given the texture of my hair - wavy and thick, teasing is a recipe for disaster; and disaster ensued... I ended up with a lions mane of teased and colored hair; while praying that they would have a really cool method/product to detangle my hair. In all honesty, while waiting for the color to process, I started to panic and almost walked out, except I was too afraid that my entire scalp would fall off if I did not get it washed right away.When it came time to wash it, my hair was not budging no matter how much conditioner they threw at it... Three men came to the rescue and proceeded to forcefully brush out the teased hair for close to 20+minutes, I was sobbing underneath my mask because it was so painful. My scalp took a few days to heal, as it started to peel the following day, and I have been able to address and repair the broken strands with many hair masks.However, not everything is negative, the end result color was nice and the haircut was very good. But it would be criminal of me, not to share my journey with other readers who trust Google reviews. Please know that Im not seeking for any kind of amend, and was very hesitant to even write this review, Im just truly hoping that the shop owners will learn from my experience so that this doesnt happen to anyone else.

John is amazing hair stylist, such a wonderful experience to have hair color, cut and style by John.I received complements on how I look, and highly recommend haircut and color by John.

He ignored half of what I said, and it felt like he just did a haircut he was used to. within the first few minutes, he had cut a part of my hair way too short without telling me, so I had no choice but to have it that short everywhere. he managed to make it even shorter later on especially near the top, so my head looks like a shaved egg. it looks bad. one side is also even shorter than the other side, among other minor poor quality details, that just make it look unprofessional and not at all suitable to present for work. even this cost $30 when he should have been paying me to train on my hair. this 4.7 star rating is completely bogus.

Shame on everyone who wrote the misleading reviews simply because they know the owners :((( Well I should’ve noticed that most reviews are done by people from the same country as the hair dressers . Nothing wrong with that except that it’s not necessarily true .After 2 cuts 3 months apart with Dogan I am now dealing with burnt dry broom like feel hair, miserable haircut revealed very ugly .... they’re good maybe for straight forward trimming or kids cuts but not for sophisticated looks . I am a very fair person when it comes to reviews. This is the first time ever for me to write a bad review and I’m so sad . My hair was very smooth silky feel and now it’s a broom like from the way it was cut & the intense heat of the blow dryer . WHAT A SHAMEI went twice for a haircut - 1st in end of Jan, it looked quite nice till I washed my hair and realized one side is longer than the other . Hair became very dry :( because of the way Dogan blow dry it. He stretched it so much and fumes were coming out of my hair .Then I thought he’s not used to my hair being so thin, I’ll give him another chance 3 weeks ago ( which is exactly 2 months from my 1st cut - I showed him exact picture of how I want my haircut to be & told him it’s so weak and dry and to adjust the cut a bit shorter to remove all the dry parts .Again the way he blew dry my hair was so brutal on my hair & I mentioned to him to take it easy !!! Fumes were coming out of my hair like crazy from how tough and close he was holding the blow dryer to my head.5 days later my hair became like a broom head 🧹 ridiculously dry & burnt 🥵. Didn’t know what to do with it - I am trying all kinds of hair masks with no good :(( the hair cut now ( 3 weeks after having it cut it ) looks disastrous !!!! All the faults shows, no layering, all messed up and looks terrible and too short to make any corrections elsewhere .IMPORTANT NOTE : don’t get baffled by the reviews it’s absolutely ridiculous & misleading - people be honest when writing reviews like that

I was a first time client today at this salon. I chose it for its great reviews online and proximity to my work in Vienna. I had John, the owner, for a cut and color. I asked him to cut a few inches off, add long layers and side swept bangs. I also asked him to cover a few chunky blonde highlights I had by my face. The cut is absolutely great, however the dye John used to cover my highlights turned dark gray/blue. He washed my hair multiple times and kept adding another substance, which only made the blue lighter. He told me to wait a couple days and let it fade. I am Not happy. Ill be contacting him again tomorrow to get them to correct it.Update: I went back 2 days later to have the blue fixed. John dyed my hair once, and the blue was STILL there. I asked him to do it again, and he seemed annoyed. He updated my blonde, but it is STILL BLUE after being dyed an additional 2 times. I asked him why it turned blue in the first place, and he said because of your gray undertones. I am 28 and have never had a gray hair in my life. He then asked me to remove my initial Google review I posted. Im taking away a star because he never apologized or recognized the inconvenience and frustration he caused. He should never have allowed me to leave the salon with blue hair in the first place. I will never go back.

Dogan and John do amazing work! I have never had a bad color or cut, and am always getting compliments on my hair. By far the best place to go for your hair and pampering.

Id have to say this was one the best hair cuts Ive ever had, and the experience was like watching an artist work on your hair. Im a male, early thirties. His station was very clean, and my stylist knew his equipment well.
