Pillar trim on my door flew off on the highway a few months after having my door worked on. Came in thinking they would replace it considering they were the last ones to work on my vehicle and I haven’t done anything expect drive to and from work and the trim didn’t even last a year before falling off my truck. Surprise surprise that wasn’t the case. Tried to make me pay for a part they installed incorrectly considering it’s not in the truck anymore but they just told me it was installed correctly and there was no way of telling how it came off. Hated every second working with Hall Body. Save yourself the money and time and go somewhere else.
Very unhappy! It took two weeks to put an inferior bumper on my car. If I didnt open my trunk I would not have seen the huge gap between the bumper and my trunk. Its now a month later and Im still waiting for the replacement. My car is a Nissan and I figured they would do a good job! Wrong, wrong wrong! Customer be ware, check everything!
I have a 2017 Ho da Accord, it was like new. I was hit by a driver in Atlanta, it had a lot of damage to the front of my vehicle, the entire passenger side from front to back, including front wheel and suspension damage. Hall Body Shop got me together. Perfect job. I would recommend them anyone.

We brought our Santa Fe in to be repaired after someone hit our bumper. It was going to be a quick repair but due to the weather in the north it took a month to get the part that was needed. Glen kept us informed about the delays and together with the claims adjuster battled with the rental car company and worked out that end of things for us.
Recently brought my fathers car there to be repaired after it was involved in an accident. I Immediately informed Malik that we did NOT want to total the car and would like it fixed if possible. The trunk was stuck shut because of the impact and I gave him examples of how to have it opened without doing damage.When my friend showed up to retrieve my personal items for me she found that the trunk had a LARGE hole cut into it. I nor my father ever gave verbal or written consent to do this. Speaking to the insurance company, they were very clear that they specifically informed your shop to open the trunk doing as little damage as possible. I have spoken with malik and John regarding replacing the trunk lid but they insisted that it was unrepairable and have refused my request to replace it.When we had the car moved to another reputable body shop they assured us that it was indeed very easy to repair along with the rest of the vehicle.There were numerous lies told to myself and the insurance agent handling the claim. Your employees insisted that the vehicle was totaled when that was not true. They insisted that they had a work release from me when that was also not true. They refused to give us an estimate to repair the vehicle under the premise that they were not “ allowed” to work on a totaled vehicle. Fortunately the insurance company paid the storage fees we were charged but referred to them as “ridiculous”.I will most definitely never use your shop and will make sure to pass along to everyone I know the terrible service we received.
The service here is DEPLORABLE. Advisors in the body shop are completely unresponsive to customers in their lobby for service . Their manager Sharon did not have the loaner car ready and staff members informed on the warranty work needed for my moms vehicle . For almost a FULL CALENDAR YEAR . She has been trying to have peeling paint repaired(work they completed) and every excuse in the book has been used to delay service . I would not recommend business with either this body shop or the neighboring hall Nissan as neither value customer service. Save your time and money and go elsewhere .

Refused to lift vehicle to conduct estimate in accordance with industry standards for body work estimates. Simply walked around the vehicle visually assessinng instead, demanding a commitment to body work onsite prior to lifting vehicle in order to fully assess the cost of repairs. Substandard method of producing estimate was not disclosed to customer prior to bringing the vehicle in.Rating is two stars vice one star because the business did disclose their substandard estimate method prior to executing pseudo-estimate and did relate the likelihood of the pseudo-estimate being much lower than the actual bill.Only warning customers about the known poor quality of their estimates (in both effort and accuracy) once the damaged vehicle has already been towed to their lot is doubtlessly a good way to ensnare customers. Especially those customers who might otherwise compare real quotes from competitors who do meet the industry standard, but needed their vehicle back too urgently.Thankfully, the business intrinsically deceptive policy only cost me a few hours of my time and a $70 tow to a rival business that did meet industry standard for estimate performance.

If I could give a no star rating I would but unfortunately I have to leave a 1 star rating. Very unhappy with my whole experience thus far with y’all body. I dropped my car off over 10 days ago and have yet to receive an estimated day to pick my car back up. They originally told me it would take 5 days to do the repairs and here we are 10 days later with no time frame for when it will be ready. My insurance is not willing to extend my car rental and they couldn’t offer a loaner car. You constantly get the run around about your vehicle and takes hours to get a return call back. Just poor customer service.
Arrived on Tuesday (7/28) at 3PM to get an estimate of damages. I was told estimates were by appointment only. I set appointment for 7/29 at 3 PM. Upon arrival, I was told to wait for estimator. Estimator asked if I had provided pictures to Insurance Company. When I responded in the negative, I was advised that they could only give a customer pay estimate. I explained that I was a previous employee.The estimator seemed as if he didnt care. I pointed out that his mask was worn improperly, exposing his nasal passages.Never again! Needless to say, I left without an estimate for Allstate (the other partys Insurance Company.)

I have an 06 Accord and didn’t think they would be able to match the paint as well as they did with my car being older but my car came out looking better than it did before! 10 out 10 would recommend them to anyone!

I had my bumper replaced back in 2015 at Hall Nissan after an accident. The paint started bubbling and peeling about a year or so later. I brought it in the other day and they told me they were going to get me a whole new bumper. They ordered me a new bumper and had it panted and put on in less then a week. Emalee was extremely friendly, fast and on top of everything. It was a great experience. My car looks new again. 😊Thank you!

With 21 yrs of experience in aviation structural maintenance/repair, Im extremely particular how I expect something to be done. After two inaccurate and incomplete estimates from two other body shops I visited Hall and couldnt have been happier. The estimate provided was completed with as much attention to detail as could have been just short of being considered an inspection. Accuracy & completeness is all I expected and they delivered! Everything was great. Deo was friendly and professional. Dropped my car off and got a rental at the same location. Took about a week but when I picked my car up it looked way better than I expected! Halls Body Shop completely exceeded my expectations! First, they were very efficient. With the Geico adjuster on site, to Enterprise being on site, the whole process was painless! Emily kept me up to date on their progress and when she called to tell me that my vehicle was in clean up I figured they would wash the outside and wipe the dust off from the shop. My vehicle was cleaned inside and out! Vacuumed and all! The paint looked fantastic and the back hatch was perfectly aligned. Thank you Hall!

My 2016 CR-V was backed into. I brought it here for repair. Ive been back numerous times for their poor work. I would go elsewhere but Im not going to pay to have their mistakes fixed. They dont take pride in their work. Replacement parts didnt fit or line up correctly and when I pointed this out, I was told thats just how it is. No, its not, its how you put it on. They didnt clean up after themselves. There was dried liquid from there installation process in my trunk. If you decide to bring your vehicle here, take pictures before and after for comparison. And be prepared to come back repeatedly for corrections. I am currently sitting in their waiting on visit 4 for them to fix their work. I say dont waste your time. Even speaking with the manager and general manager didnt help. They apologize but apologies dont fix my car or repay my time for coming back over and over again.

I got my car back at the end of February and have no complaints thus far. The reason I am here writing this review is because one of my friends recently got into an accident and I found myself actually referring this body shop to them, which is something I have never done before. I was kept informed and when I had a question that I needed addressed, two rings into my phone call, the service manager answered her phone and she answered every question I had without skipping a beat. Had my car repaired through Geico at this shop, and even though there were some issues with my vehicle and the communication with my insurance company everyone at Hall That worked with me was really wonderful and went above and beyond to help resolves the issues. I was communicated with more from the body shop then I was with my insurance company, but it helped with the whole process. I greatly appreciate the company pulling through forMe today to help fix the issues I’m having, would recommend them to anyone based on that alone!
I got my car serviced here. For the first few weeks I got no updates, no calls, and when I tried to call no one could tell me anything. They kept pushing the time back saying itll be done one week and push it back to the next week. They had my car for about 5 weeks... It was one dent. It was a lot of time for one dent and I barely got any calls until the last 2 weeks. This place needs to get better with communication.
Where do I start??? The first encounter I had with them was very unpleasant, I found them on google and told the insurance company I would try them out. So I went there to set the appointment and Alex is one of the rudest people I’ve ever come across. She told me she didn’t know what I was talking about and why did I bring my truck there instead of saying the insurance company has to make the appointment to get the estimate. So the insurance company asked me if I wanted to go somewhere else after I told them about the encounter. But I had just moved here and didn’t know the area so I was like no I just want my truck fixed. So the process for fixing my truck starts and the insurance company calls me and says I have to turn in my rental because the time allotted for my repairs was up and Hall was running behind so they were no longer gonna pay for my rental because it’s Hall’s fault that my truck wasn’t finished. So I call Hall’s and Alex gets on the phone and rudely tells me she doesn’t know what I’m talking about and no they don’t give rentals and that the insurance company wasn’t paying for all my repairs. Now mind you I got hit, and the person who hit me was fully responsible through his insurance to pay for all my repairs but Alex kept calling me telling me i owe them and that they weren’t going to complete my repairs. So of course I had to call the insurance company and have them straighten everything and I understand things can sometimes get mixed up but it was how Alex approached me with each situation. So then Alex calls me back and says you know what it is our fault and we dont want you to be with out a car so we will put u in a rental. I was like oh really, she had a whole different attitude then before and I was like is this woman crazy? Like if she’s doing business with people like this, she will run off all of their business. She is rude and very disrespectful and makes it uncomfortable to deal with them. So once that got figured out and a month later my truck finally getting fixed I went to pick up my truck and once again they try and tell me I owe them money and I was like no I don’t. I couldn’t understand where all the confusion was coming from and why they kept trying to hit me with a bill. So once again they checked their records and low and behold i didn’t owe them a dime, they were like oh sorry ok well here’s your keys. Just from my experience I would not tell anyone to go there because I wouldn’t want them to be mad at me if they were to encounter any of what I did. Alex is a soup sandwich and very unpleasant to deal with.
I was impressed with this place right from the beginning! The customer service was top knotch. During the repair process, I was kept informed just about daily on the progress of the work being done. When I picked the car up they had not only done the work they were suppose to do, but they had cleaned my car inside and out as well. The work done to my car was done very well. Even though its conveniently located, the communication is HORRIBLE. Our truck went into for repairs on a Monday. We were told it would be a week. The first Wednesday we got a phone call saying that parts were coming in. Friday we got a call saying that all the parts were in and it was in paint and would be ready Monday at the one week mark. Perfect. Monday rolls around and no phone call. I tried calling three times with no answer. On Tuesday I get a call saying that it would be done that afternoon because they were waiting on parts but they would be there and installed. No further phone calls on Tuesday even after I called again that evening to check up and had to leave a message. On Wednesday I left voicemail after voicemail with no response after hours so my husband and I drove over to the location. Without an apology we were told that the truck wasnt done but they were working on it and it should be done today (Thursday) because all they had to do is put decals on it. They also told me that they did call me and speak to me at 2:45 that afternoon. I explained that I hadnt spoken to anyone so the notes that were entered were incorrect. Here it is Thursday evening, and surprise... no phone call with an update. At this point, what was supposed to take a week has taken days longer which would be fine if we were actually kept up to speed as we were promised we would be.
I had work done on my truck and the service department at Hall was AMAZING!! I knew every step of the way what was going on with my vehicle at all times and never had to call to get updates. The employees at Hall kept me updated on everything. The body shop did wonderful with repairing everything. I will be using them for all my work from now on. Thank you Hall Body Shop Team for an amazing experience during a hard time.
I had a great experience here, they are one of the preferred body shops of Geico and used their express program. Looks like people have mixed reviews I am guessing depending on the damage of the vehicle, which I would say really case by case basis. With my experience with other shops, I would say really important to have clear communication and set expectations first and foremost. Be understanding first that again each repair would be unique, but if you are not happy and seems like something is not right then make sure report them to supervisors and escalate, get their names.. and the write the review of your experience in a fair manner.

I brought my car in the middle of January and I picked it up last week, Everything that was done on my vehicle was spectacular and I really am very surprised it looks almost brand new! I am horrified after reading one of the reviews where the clients car was in the shop for 4 months. My car has been in this shop TWO months now. I have kept an accurate log of every conversation. If they werent waiting on my insurance company, they were waiting on a part, or the incorrect part was received and it had to be reordered. My rental car limit was reached and my insurance company asked them to pay for a rental. It was not granted. After a week with no car, I myself, inquired about getting a rental from them because I was notified about them receiving the wrong part. I was told I could get a rental....when one became available. That was 3 days ago....no car; mine or the rental.The communication; however, was excellent; thus, the 3 stars. I cannot say the same for the service as far as repairing my car. That is yet to be seen. I was notified each week of the progress or lack thereof. Jim, Nicole, and Ashley were very professional. However, I am very dissatisfied with the slow progress of the labor and the inefficiency in ordering/receiving parts. The reason I had my car sent to Hall Collision Center was because of the EXCELLENT service I receive from my dealership, Hall Chevrolet. I thought parts would be readily available. The insurance company contributed to some of the delays but not to the extent of having my car this long. My car has a cream leather interior. I hope that when its finally returned to me I wont have an added expense of cleaning it. What a disappointment.
My experience with Hall Auto Body was outstanding. I felt horrible for running over my neighbors cat and they made me feel better with their outstanding service. From the ladies at the front desk to the service men everyone was prompt, courteous and professional. My car was ready on the day they promised and it looked nice, clean and smelled great. It left no evidence of me running over the cat...every dent, scratch (no pun intended) and paint discoloration was no longer on my car. Kudos to the Hall Auto Body staff.

I had nothing but a positive experience with Hall. On December 6th, my neighbor backed out of her parking space and hit my car. She ended up causing almost $2000 in damage. I was so upset. This is my first car, and now it’s damaged. I set up an appointment through my insurance and scheduled the repairs at Hall Automotive. They were completely supportive of me and made me feel a lot more at ease when I dropped my car off. The total repair took about 2 weeks, but my car looks brand new. Heather called me almost daily to keep me updated about when the parts would be in, and when it would go in for paint. I have a decal that’s very important to me on the door that was damaged, and they ended up keeping the glass but replacing the door. Their customer service was amazing, and I’m glad I trusted them to fix my baby. 5 stars ⭐️

I originally gave it a one due to lack of communication and not understanding why my car was taking so long. I finally was able to speak with Jimmy after putting my poor rating up, and was able to understand what happened, and that the delay was higher up on the food chain then their shop. He offered some ways to rectify the situation. Nothing could be done about the delay, unfortunately, looks like I will have to express my displeasure to the Honda corporation. Jimmy was very helpful and understood why I was upset.

The got my van back in just under 3 days doing a very good job with a like new look to my van. The detailed my van after repair as well and I am very satisfied with the ease of service. The car rental place is built in and I was in and out in no time at all. Highly recommended!!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. My car was there to get front end repairs from a minor fender bender and I was told that it was simple repairs and would take a week at most to get parts in and fixed. Communication is horrible and here over 3 weeks later still no car. They said after being fixed the fog lights would not turn off and it had to be sent to a different shop to get diagnosed because after a week of their own tech trying to diagnose it, could not figure out what was wrong. Over a week after it was at the 2nd body shop they sent it to, still no repair was done and it was being brought back and being sent to a 3rd shop. Then nobody could tell me what was going on or where it was being sent to. A supervisor was supposed to call me back but instead a service rep called back saying she had no info for me and all she knew was it was now going to stay with them to be diagnosed instead. Why would it be sent to 2 other locations if they could do it and further if they couldnt do it in the first place why were they keeping it now to do? When I asked this the girl on the phone simply said I dont know. So no communication and no answers. Just my car being bounced around and nothing being done. When I do get it back I will be sending it somewhere else to be checked over to make sure they didnt screw it up! Very poor service!

I can not say enough great things about the service I received at Hall. I live in Suffolk but wanted my repairs done at the Virginia Beach location. After calling the shop and speaking to a very polite receptionist, I was elated to find out that they have a body shop professional located in the Chevrolet dealership 5 miles from my home. I took my car in for the estimate and Cammi took it from there. She wrote my estimate and even transported my car to the shop and back so I didnt have to take the time out of my busy day to do it. She handled everything so I didnt have to and kept me informed every step of the way. I couldnt be happier with the repairs and the customer service was stellar! Keep up the great work Hall!
Hall Body Shop did an amazing job of fixing my bumper after somebody hit me in the back. I will definitely be using their service again for future repairs. Horrible, my car was stolen on December 4th and it was found on December 16th so I told my insurance company I’ll use this body shop since I brought my 2019 Nissan Sentra from Hall Nissan In Chesapeake. I haven’t had anyone to call me or give me updates, I’ve been calling them which I shouldn’t have. They never ordered my parts the day they said they would. My car has been in there over a week now going on 2 weeks. I’m still wondering how long will it take for them to finish.
While my car was getting worked on they fail to communicate with me about my vehicle... I would call them to ask a question and all they would say is someone would have to call me back and nobody ever did...When I went to pick up my vehicle it had a coolant leak there was over spray on the new headlights... then days later while I drove it would make a clicking sound or turns out the wheel wasn’t tightened down all the way... I would not recommend this place at all
I went to Hall Collision because I regularly get my car services at Hall Honda and expected the same quality of service. One month and almost $8,000 later I received my vehicle back. Needless to say I was very dissappointed with the poor repairs. All aftermarket parts were used without informing me or giving me the option to choose and pay the difference. My car was in the shop for a month and returned to me very dirty, no gas at all, and the tire prressure was very low. A hitch was replaced and they allowed the wrong hitch to be installed without my consent and did not replace all the parts which were on the hitch, such as the ball. My statement claims a hole was cut in the floor to accomodate the hitch but this also was not authorized by me and there was no reason for a hole to be cut according to uhaul. My back window was replaced and when I got the car back there was a rattling noise. I was freaking out thinking the window was loose. I was told everything was fine. I had to keep driving around with the rattling noise only to discover by bringing my car elsewhere that the noice was because the liscence place was never completly screwed on. I brought it back to Hall Collision and was told everything was fine and that none of my concerns about my vehicle were valid and the car had been cleaned. I mentioned a starbucks cup left in my car as proof the car was not cleaned and they still denied it was from them. I stated I had to bring my car back to Hall Honda due to the air in the tires being so low and when i mentioned my concern I was basically told it was not true and to prove it. I brought my vehicle to Hall Honda and was told it was obvious some repairs were not made. A rear Interior cup holder was damaged and I was told it was fine, again Hall Honda was able to point out it was not and it needed to be replaced. I have to keep popping it into place because it keeps falling out due to the clips being damaged. I called and left a message for the store and general manager and surprisingly my call was never returned back. My car then kept malfunctioning electronically and was told the battery connectors has been loosened. I would have ended up stranded somewhere with my children and it was Christmas eve by the time I figured out what the problem was. Thankfully again I brought it into Hall Honda to have the battery checked and was told my batter was fine and it was the connectors which were loose. I know this was something that happened when my car was at Hall Collision as my clock and everything electronic was reset and off. I would never recommend this collision place to anyone at this time and feel it is misleading being associated with the Hall Brand. The only good thing I can say is i did get frequent updates and calls.
My vehicle was taken in and appears to have been repaired properly. While it was in the shop the rear window was broken. Hall paid for the window. Per Emalee Hickman, I was told I had signed papers that Hall did not pay for rental cars. Makes no sense to me that if they CAUSE the problem they should pay for any additional expenses incurred. Fortunately the insurance company paying for the initial damage added 1 day to the rental. My vehicle was repaired and returned before the rental expired. The “Hall does not pay for rentals” policy should be looked at. There was a good possibility that their error could have cost me money, doesn’t seem like a valid policy.
These guys are impressive!They were friendly, quick with their work, and really just made me feel like they genuinely wanted this to be a good experience for me.Not only did they help me with an unmentioned safety deposit for the rental vehicle but the rental was a 2018 and nicer than the car they were repairing. I certainly miss driving that thing.Furthermore, when I was having a little trouble with my passenger side window after the repairs (something Ive had a bit of difficult with since buying the car) they fixed it in such a way that its working better than it ever has!I will have to call Rebecca tomorrow to let her know that my button is working, the window is great, and even though she said they were unable to fix it it turned out great anyways. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the relief of that window being less funked up. Thank you!

This place is amazing...no ones perfect but they DEFINITELY strive to be...and in the end really what more could you ask for. If you want 100% satisfaction, great work, and someone who pays attention to detail, this is the place to be.
You could most likely do better in your back yard with a can of spray paint. Our car was painted 3 times before they got it right, ruined trim they had to replace, and then ruined another piece of trim. 6 trips to get it right, and kept the car for 3 weeks the 3rd time. I strongly do not recommend this place. The only reason they received 1 star is because the system does not have a 0.

I had work done on two of my cars here and got stellar service each time. I was very happy with Jim Brockway who personally made sure I was taken care of. I would definitely be back should I need their expertise again.

If I could, I would give that place negative stars. Brought my vehicle there after an accident and after them letting the vehicle sit for a week and not repairing anything I received the complete run around. Couldnt get my Jeep back because of an estimate meaning they didnt repair anything. Ended up having to get insurance company involved and was an awful overall experience. If you have other options, make sure you go that route.

Great service. Brittany was great, she consistently contacted to me to let me know the status of my car. It was great to see a full tank of gas and a washed car both inside and out when I picked up my vehicle!!
My car was sitting at Hall body shop untouched for 7 days because Jimmy did not send my claims representative my supplement. This caused issues because my car could have been declared a total loss 7 days sooner, giving me more time to find a new car. However, due to his negligence I reached my rental max within those 7 days and had less than 24 hrs to buy a new car. The body shop refused to take responsibility or pay for my rental for even a day so I could find a car. This was their fault. I have used this body shop for years for accidents and even sent friends here because they did such great work. However, I will never send anyone here again and I will continue to tell every person how awful this company is now. This body shop is ran by rude management and employees who cannot communicate to do their jobs.

Hate this place. Im checking to see if they used parts of my car in other cars. Im still waiting to talk to Jimmy. I have been getting the run-around for several months. Im still paying on a car I dont even have access to and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, but I do like the automotive shop at the other location.
My family has had several vehicles serviced at their body shop, with various degrees of damage, and each time they have exceeded my expectations. From their friendly associates to their professional technicians, I would recommend them to anyone in need of collision repair. They seem to have a great working relationship with every insurance company and endeavor to repair the vehicle with the customer in mind.
My car looks great and the facility is beautiful, doesnt even look like a bodyshop up front!

Service department was extremely friendly, Mallory is very very nice, did not treat me like a neophyte since our 2017 has all these high tech gadgetry, she showed me how to check the life of my oil by using the information button on my steering wheel - all done with a smile
This place was very unprofessional they did not return any of my phone calls for two days also while getting work done at geico center the person that I left my car with gave me their phone number they also would not return my phone calls. Finally it took me going up there to finally get some answers.
