From the first phone call to the day I drove my Highlander off their lot I had a wonderful experience. everyone there was so nice with no pressure at all from my test drive with Mike who was very nice and made me feel comfortable to my experience with Johann who was very clear on the price and the warranties to Marina a very sweet lady who was very informative and I enjoyed talking to..... I lost my husband last year from brain cancer and it was very difficult to make decisions on my own without him but they made me feel completely comfortable about everything and my whole experience with them.....Marina even went as far as to having one of her workers transfer my Turtle stickers off the back of my trade in to my new Highlander..... my husbands nickname was turtle... the stickers were very special to me and her worker Wes did an awesome job transferring the stickers... it was a very tedious job and took him a while to accomplish but Wes did an awesome job that was very special to me..... Im very happy with my Highlander... Ive had it about a week only issue I had was the drivers window tinting and they replaced that and paid for it within one day...... thank you guys so much..... I went to LA Auto Star looking at a specific car. While that car didnt work for me, the folks at LA Auto Star suggested looking at a recent acquisition. They showed me at 2003 Lexus SC450. I was never looking at a Lexus but this car was beautiful! The staff showed me the car, walked through their inspection and let me take it out for a drive. One of the mechanics explained the thorough inspections they give the cars and the free CarFax report eased our mind about any hidden damage. Didnt buy a car from here and probably never will now. Went to look at a Jeep they had for sale. I was talking to Marina, nice lady, and was letting her know all the concerns I had of all the things I noticed on the jeep. In the middle of us talking, one of the other salesmen interrupted us and proceeded to tell me how I was lucky to even test drive it that day and that it would sell for the price they had and that if I didnt buy it that day I was going to regret it eventually. I want to start of the review by mentioning its not a bashful review and I never even do reviews. The first car I purchased with them was amazing and hadnt been modified and it was a sports car. Great people and great service.Unfortunately I just wanted to not tell you to not go there but definitely make sure you take the car to pre purchase inspection especially if its a modified car. Due to the nature of modified cars you are taking a risk but they pride themselves in selling those type of super nice sports cars (Type R, Evos, WRX, STI) and they have a great selection. Unfortunately they just dont seem too informed on those types of cars. It would be best to just pay for a pre inspection.I say this because the second car I bought from them popped a check engine light on the way back home for misfires in the cylinders and the next day I took it to the subaru dealer and sent me a list of things that are wrong (Axle leak, all spark plugs were old, car running bad because of lack of tune.) Subaru changed all the sparks plugs and still is not running correctly so they are going to make sure the engine isnt blown.Yes, I have contacted them and all they said is vehicle is sold as is which I dont blame them for it since it is a used car. I just wouldnt expect to have had owned the car for under 24 hours and it immediately be in the shop and immediately be losing more money.All in all great selection of cars, great people and service. Just be aware their checklist isnt that thorough or at least it was not in my case.

Used car shopping makes me nervous-but I never once felt that way when we dealing with LA Auto Star. We had a great experience here and the entire staff that was there was welcoming and very helpful. Johann was able to find a truck that fit the exact description of what we were looking for- he was very fast and at it was at the right price. Car shopping with two toddlers is not ideal, but Johann made the process so easy and we were in and out in no time. The easiest and most efficient car buying experience Ive ever had. The car was in great shape, and Johann was extremely helpful and accommodating. I was able to make the entire purchase remotely, they worked with my bank seamlessly, and the car was delivered right to my front door.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a beautiful looking truck on the 5th of Jan, and I’ve seen it about 4 times, each time its been on the way to the shop, were it is to this very day. The sales experience was positive. However, the nightmare began the day after leaving the lot. The vehicle’s Service Engine Light(SEL) came on during the drive back to Northern Va. I took it to a local dealer and had it checked. The dealer told me the codes were permeant codes that were cleared so the SEL would go off. The Service Advisor also stated that there maybe more than the 5 codes but it wouldn’t know until they come back since the only codes he could see the history on were the permeant codes, not any pending. I had it all repaired and left. Drove it work the next week and threw several other codes, which is what I’m dealing with now. Again, I had those repairs done and left. Unfortunately, its been to several different dealerships due to personal work requirements. I thought it was repaired so I drove it TDY, and the SEL not only came back on, but went into reduced power mode due to the codes. This vehicle is now on its 4th stay at a GMC dealership in under 30 days.At the price of the sale you’d think the LA Auto would be more willing to offer assistance. Instead of any sort of compensation for the thousands of dollars of out of pocket cost in repairs and lost time away from work dealing with this nightmare, I was offered to be upsold an additional service. Why would I trust you to buy anything else from you? If Va had better lemon laws, we would be headed to court. The SEL was intentionally cleared, and that is misleading a customer, and theft by deception. For this headache, and combined cost, I could’ve bought a 2020.If you’re a Service Man or Woman, stay away. You’ll PCS and be stuck with BS. I would get the dealership blacklisted from selling to the military if I could. If your local and want a handy man special, by all means go in and purchase your hearts desire.

After 3000 miles the vehicle is running strong and my bank got paid within two weeks. From my recent experience with shopping around I had the best service here and was out in an hour.

Chrysler doesnt change the style/look of the Wranglers like other makes and models, and from bumper to bumper, inside and underneath, to the engine bay - it is the textbook definition of absolutely excellent condition. It being a vehicle that has/will see a little off road action, I took it upon myself to change all the fluids so I can have my preferred brands in there, and also to see what the current fluids look like. From the crank case oil, transfer case, transmission, to the front and rear differentials - the fluids were prestine. I even changed the plugs and wires and used a bore scope to take a peak at the cylinders while I was at it. Totally impressed about everything I saw.All in all - service was absolutely great and I got a fantastic vehicle at a very fair price. I would recommend LA Autostar every day of the week, and twice on Sunday!

My husband and I just bought a SUV and Im pleased with who we went through! Im not a fan of any dealerships because I know their purpose is to sell, sell, and sell. However, I did not get that feeling at LA Auto Star. My husband went looking for a truck to replace his former car from an accident. He was ready to buy, but wanted my opinion of the truck as well, so he had already text them I wanted to test drive before arriving. As soon as we walked in we walked right back out to drive. When we got back, Johann asked how it drove and left it at that. I was already sold from the drive, but it was nice not to be pressured into buying. They know the worth of their vehicles and dont push the customers. They were friendly, quick, and easy going. If we ever need a vehicle on the fly again I know who to trust, and I know I wont be pressured.

BEWARE. Long story short. Purchased a vehicle check in hand before they even fully opened and they were expedient in paperwork etc. I was done in 30 minutes. Dropped off my rental and they actually picked me up and brought me back to the dealer. Beautiful car in great condition for the year. Two hours later it died. I called and they sent out a tow out of their pocket. Mind you i signed a no warranty agreement. They still fixed it and gave me partial money for a rental while it was in the shop.Fast forward two weeks. Valve cover gaskets peeing out oil $200. Fastforward another week radiator blows it top seam on the highway $600. FASTFORWARD ANOTHER WEEK AND THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER COMPLETELY GOES OUT. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER. FOR YOUR SAKE. NOT MINE.
