Purchased a vehicle from this place within 1 week had to replace tire sensor around 2nd to third week engine light came on had to replace thermostat they said it was not covered under warranty 2 months after purchasing vehicle transmission went out 5000 dollar job called them they act like they dont remember my purchase ask me twice did I purchase vehicle from them knowing I did just Purchased it 2 months ago I gave these people almost 11000 dollars for this vehicle which I did not finance paid cash vehicle it is for use for my business now I cant work dont have 5 grand to repair this spent all my money on the purchase of the vehicle dont know what I am going to do really got taken advantage of these people are shady and not trust worthy buyer beware

Found vehicle Online today through my employer website. Call to inquiry about the vehicle. A male answered the phone and when I asked to speak to the person in charge of internet sales he hung up. When I called back the same person answered the phone and when I inquired again about internet sales the person said: Weve got a person in charge of internet sales and thats none of your business and rudely hung up again. The rudest reception ever by someone representing a sales organization. I wouldnt buy a motor scooter from them!

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. After applying for the auto loan, and being approved, I was told they did not have the title yet and I would have to wait a few days for it to get in. After a few days later I was called by the dealership and told it would be a few more days but the car was being taken off the line so I could purchase it as soon as the title got in. After a week of nothing, I decided to call the dealership to get an update. That car was sold is what I was rudely told. I was then transferred to someone else who told me I needed to come down and choose a different car. No way was I giving these unethical creeps my business after this. He then wanted to argue and try to make this all my fault. Do not trust anything these people advertise or say.

Purchased a car here within the last month and have already had 3 problems with it but today was the worst starting off with a clutch problem and window motor problem. Driving to work my axle and ball bearing inside of the wheel well snapped and left me stranded on the road. when i reached out to the dealership they said it was not covered under warranty. under no circumstances was this damage to the vehicle that i would have been able to create within 3 weeks. they sold me the car from the auction knowing that it was at a breaking point. buyer beware of buying cars purchased from auction by this company because they have no interest in how they run as long as they can sell them.

Im New to the area and was looking for a reliable car Desperately I heard a LOT of awesome things about Oceana Motors, but after going there and my experience Im not too happy.If you don’t have the “best” credit or if you arent a active service member I wouldnt recommend this place.I Initially went to purchase a car cash but decided to finance one to help build my credit a little bit. I was looking at a Mazda car they had at the time. While running my credit and everything he asked if we would like to come back due to the timeframe so we left and went to the NEX. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot he texts me how much i would need to put down on the car. While i was waiting for more information on the vehicle I get another text saying they had just sold the car. (all this happened within an hour) I was confused because I thought he was working with me but ended up selling to someone else. I didn’t even have a chance to make a decision. so them pretending to work with me on the car and run my credit just to sale the car to someone else was unacceptable. He could have just said that someone else was in the market for it before running a credit app with me.So at first i didn’t think anything of it. Because i figured I didnt make a decision fast enough so its my fault. So the VERY next day i was interested in a Nissan Sentra and so i texted the same guy who was supposedly working with me the day before and asked what I needed to do. He responded and said he had a navy guy coming in to look at it . I never heard back from him and the car is still on the lot. I also seen another car a Dodge Avenger and sent in a request about it. (At this point just trying to get someone to reach out, so i can purchase a car) The dealership still has not contacted me yet.I know i don’t have the best credit nor am i in the “navy” but Im still a customer like anyone else. My application for approval might take a little more effort but i still deserve the best customer service as if i had an awesome credit score. I really dont like how they handled me and i will not be going back. If you dont have the money in hand at the moment you walk on their lot then dont expect them to help you. I was very disappointed seeing that Ive read 100+ reviews that said this was an awesome place . Well that wasnt my experience

They sold me truck that broke down several weeks later. The owner, Tony, refused to help me get it fix despite the truck having a warranty. The transmission was shot, the check engine light came on, the suspension was bad, the bearings needed to be replaced, there where several oil leaks, tube side panels fell off and the owner was well aware of these issues and chose to sale the truck anyways in that condition. This place is a scam and is only trying to get your money. They also have uncertified mechanics working on the vehicle. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALER OR ANY ONE ATTACHED TO GOOD FELLAS AUTO.

The service at this establishment is unlike any other, super friendly and helpful place! the owner is outstanding and super military friendly, 10/10 would reccomend!

Tony the salesman and Tony the owner in general are good guys who work with you on pricing and try to create relationships. However 5 minutes after I drove off the lot the check engine light came on for oxygen sensor. I feel someone reset it just to sell it without fixing it. They offered to fix it, and i left it on 2 separate occasions and they said it was fixed, but the light came back on again. I got it fixed myself for $300, plus 90 for diagnostic, and asked to split the cost, by texting Tony, and so far no response. I know small dealerships have to move cars quickly, but if you offer to fix something then dont, thats disingenuous. I like the guys, but imagine if the check engine light would have been hiding a big problem.

Gilberto got me the lowest interest rate I have ever been offered for this kind of purchase.we had negotiated a price over the phone contingent on seeing my trade in. I showed up a few minutes be for time Gilberto was there waiting. Once seeing my car and start ing to work on things he took 500 off the amount I was supposed to payWhile I was test driving he was working on paperwork I was in and out in less then 2hrs. And on my way home. Gilberto called me because I had forgot about him taking the money off and had over paid. I would have never noticed that money being gone. I made the mistake. I purchased a Toyota Corolla from here and it was a great experience. Joey, who was very helpful and polite let me test drive the car and answered all my questions. He also let me take the car to my cousins mechanic shop for a couple hours just to double check everything. I would highly recommend Oceana Motors to anyone looking for a good used car. P.S make sure you talk to joey at OCEANA MOTORS because there is two dealerships on the property and Virginia Beach Motors doesnt have the best reputation in the area.

I bought my car from these people there was multiple things wrong with it every time i bought it to them they would call back the next day saying it was fixed and my car was ready but never was it fixed leaks water my whole radio system is broke could keep on with the list but not worth my time and money no more put to much money into something that is not worth it just a heads up people

If I could give negative stars I would. These guys are a joke. I bought a 2006 gmc from these guys in October. Its now march and Im having to replace the transmission that they rigged together and bypassed the trans oil cooler and burned up the transmission leaving me stranded in the middle of no where in the middle of the night 5 hours from home. Oh did I mention the day I picked the truck up I had to replace every brake line on the vehicle?? Which Im a mechanic and let slide at the time. But now after seeing all the things these guys have done is ridiculous. Ive found several temporary registrations from other guys they sold the truck to and they mustve taken it back to them. Let alone at the time the owner Joey was completely unhelpful and rude when I approached him about the issue. I just want to warn everyone interested in buying something from these guys to not do it. STAY AWAY THEY SELL WRECKED AND BANDAGED CARS AND TRUCKS! Save yourself the trouble theyve given me and buy somewhere else!

I purchased a truck from here back in June of 2017. I told the owner Joey I will leave him a positive review but I never got to it because of my laziness until now haha. Truck was a 2006 Dodge 1500 that Joey showed me. He was a pretty cool and professional guy and I appreciate the service I received from him. My truck runs great and will be bringing my cousin here once he gets stationed to Norfolk.

I will say that i couldnt of had a better experience buying my truck. These guys are very friendly and are good people. Would very much so recommend to friends and family.

Watch what you buy I bought a black Yukon Denali 08 with more problems than an elite 2 early 90s car. Owner guaranteed me there was really nothing wrong with the car until I took it to Firestone on general Booth. Been to find out I needed all new control arms tie rod ends and suspension. Along with engine mounts and transmountain.

Ryan was very helpful with helping my brother with purchasing his car. And he went out of his way to fix everything that needed to be fix.

Id like to share my story so people dont have to go through what I just did. I drove 4.5 hours to go and see a hyundai genesis coupe at Oceana Motors. Staff seemed great, however, upon bringing the car to the mechanic, it has a lot of red flags. Aka water in the trunk, leaks, missing parts, so of course we didnt purchase it. We thought, because we were already there, why not take a look at some other cars. We took an 09 mitsubishi lancer for a test drive and brought it to a mechanic, and it was in way better shape. In the end, we bought the car and everything seemed great. However, upon pulling out of the dealership, a red hazard check engine light came flashing on the dash. Of course, I brought it back to the dealership and the owner took a look at it. 30 mins later he came back and the light was off. He said it was just a programming error or some bs that I bought at the time because I was just happy that the light was gone. Now, it is 2 days after buying the car and the same light came back on. Apparently I need to replace the timing chain which can cost up to 1k. I am almost positive that the owner literally just turned off the light rather than dealing with the problem knowing that it would cost him. Although they may seem nice, they are cheap and will not take care of you in the long run. They sell cheap cars that have not been thoroughly checked out. I hope my story can help if you plan to do business with Oceana Motors.

Bought a vehicle from here and was sold a warranty that didnt cover anything when I needed it. Crooked business people and huge regret for giving them my money. I would steer far away from here. Ended up having to fix my own car and was told to pretty much pound sand.

I brought a gmc envoy xl April 9 and I’m having all problems my engine light coming on and then it’s telling me reduced my engine speed.. But Joey said nothing was wrong with it and now he don’t won’t to take fault for it.. Then I had to pay to get my alignment put on right cause they put it on wrong..

I bought a 2007 WRX from here about a month ago and it drives great ! The whole buying process was easy and Joey was pretty straight forward and easy to talk too.

If I could give a negative review I would.. Joey seems like a nice guy but I’ve never had to deal with a more unprofessional person in my entire life. The title was never transferred into Oceana motors so I’m taking time off work to get this straight because his lazy butt did no work on this deal it felt like.. finally got that straight felt like I had a decent deal going. Mind you this started Saturday Feb. 10th Oceana has my car I’m driving the said car in this... today I finally get the loan signed and everything because it’s been a soup sandwich trying to get it straight for my bank because of the unprofessionalism of Oceana Motors. Get the check cut take it to Joey don’t even get to general booth Blvd and he calls me saying he “F’d up”.. he says he took 3 grand off the loan by mistake.. Saying I needed to re apply for a new loan and start over.. At first I was trying to work with the guy.. but he would only take 500 off the asking price.. I took 10.5 hrs off work to help him get this straightened out! So needless to say we didn’t get a deal made.. I go to pick my would of been trade in car get his car back to him.. my front bumper was hanging off, there was no gas in the car, the floor mats were missing, and looked like someone took and S.O.S. Pad to my dash! I confronted Joey about it asking what they heck he’s sitting down in the “office” playing PlayStation saying it was like that! No it wasn’t why would you buy a car like that the car had a full tank of gas!.. His response was well I put brakes and oil change on the car.. Dude the car I was buying wasn’t paid for why are putting money in my trade in already when the deal technically isn’t done? Also why are you driving customers cars all week ( saw him multiple occasions driving on the rd)?.. The dude acts all nice but will bend you over backwards to try to bully you! Don’t do business with this guy! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

I took over a 3hr trip down there to see a infinity x56 after speaking with Sam for over a week. We get there test drive the vehicle and it definitely wasnt worth the trip at all. We where already there so we decided we would take the infinity fx35 out for a drive...long story short we brought it & on our 3hr trip back home the engine light comes on. Sam states they knew nonthing of it....(bs) now we are stuck with out of pocket cost of $800 for new o2 sensors & catalytic converters before even making our 1st payment due In 3wks....WORST PLACE EVER!!!! BUYER BEWARE......
