I recently traded in my switch for the animal crossing new horizons themed switch (which is a come up for me) and one of the employees, named Devonte at the vista location helped me switch over all profiles and went above expectations by helping transfer all my saved data on certain games as well. Ive had some really negative experiences with the retail associates who work at the El Camino North location, so I thought I would try coming to this spot and it was definitely worth it. The girl at the desk (forgot her name sadly, I remember she had blue hair) was super nice and knowledgeable. I know that GameStop forces their employees to try and upsell things and push memberships, but she was very polite throughout. Im so used to being harassed about promos by the clerks at the El Camino store that it was honestly a really pleasant surprise. If I ever need to go to a GameStop again, I will definitely be heading to this one.

I rode in to the gamestop to pick up a new controller. Dante was very professional and friendly during checkout. Sold me on the warranty and wasnt super pushy with getting me to sign up for rewards (Which I did since it didnt feel forced.)I did not get the other checkers name but she was friendly and welcoming as well. Wonderful experience today.

Use the warranty I purchased and it was worth it. Even though the Oceanside location didnt have the wireless controller in stock, they contacted the Hacienda Store to make sure that it was placed on hold for us to go pick it up. Im glad it all worked out.

This is a nice smaller GameStop that just got updated to a nice and clean look/layout. Rogers and his team are the typical GS lot (very energetic and unfortunately have to push pre orders) but they are always polite and never rude. I like this location a lot and Rogers specifically is such a treat. I mentioned to him about a birthday gift I was making for my wife that was Princess Leia-related. He immediately found a Princess Leia promo action figure and gave it to me. 10/10.

Requested help from the store manager Rogers. This was the worst customer service experience from a retail store I can remember. He agreed to help me with an exchange only under the condition I purchase a product. When I questioned the ethics of agreeing to help only under certain conditions, he became argumentative and talked over me, suggesting he was doing me a favor. When I continued to question the fact that he seemed to be taking advantage of the situation for a profit, he retracted the offer. Every reputable retailer I’ve dealt with is more than happy to accommodate you even without a receipt. They’ll rescan the unopened/ tagged product and/or check the credit card you used to make the purchase and give you a store credit or refund the money to the card. This Game Stop is clearly different and they appear ready to “help” only if they can make a profit. They just lost a reliable customer.

I love this Gamestop. The employees are always knowledgeable about games and theyve been there so long that they even know my name and Im just a filthy casual.

When I first visited this store it was to buy the PS5. They were so nice and helpful. When we stayed outside waiting, they even offered a jacket and candy. Nice things like that didn’t go unnoticed. Although I went a second time, looking for a headset.. I stood there for 40 minutes trying to decide what I wanted, I wasn’t spoken to or helped and when I finally decided, I went the the cashier and he said that they only had a few headsets available and their choice selections were behind the counter. He was behind me the entire time (behind the counter) and didn’t bother to tell me what they did or didn’t have .. I felt like I really wasted my time and I was upset about the matter but overall, we all have bad days so this place is a hit or miss like any other store. One bad experience isn’t always too bad. A nifty little franchised GameStop with enthusiastic and attentive staff. I was trying to track down a used copy of Pokemon Platinum (somewhat rare) and they were able to help me find a copy. This is a great place to go if you need to find gifts as well, and the staff is always happy to give recommendations if you dont know what to buy for someone.

Michelle was very kind and friendly through our entire purchase. For that reason, this store will always be a home location for us. I recommend coming here.

This is your typical GameStop store. However, the service here is always outstanding. You can buy these games almost anywhere, but the people that work here is what keeps me coming back. Also, I was there on a release day. There was a line to get a game, however they were getting customers orders ready while waiting in line to help expedite it. I didnt have to wait long to get my copy of the new release.

The GameStop here was nice and the staff was very cool. I forget his name but the dude was nice to explain everything and the stores sales. Etc. recommend here if you’re in the area very friendly staff and a lot of game selections.

This GameStop is a great place to go! The men are friendly, knowledgeable in many genres, helpful and attentive. They dont keep you waiting and they genuinely love games. They give the place a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy being there and browsing through titles. I definitely recommend this GameStop as the one to go to!

The store has some of the most knowledgeable salespeople of Game Stop stores.Every time I go for a game Im looking for, eight out of ten times they will have a copy available; sometimes a used copy, and they will go out of their way to try and save you money. I love that, naturally. Who doesnt like saving money these days?If youre nearby, need a peripheral or a game, even the newest releases, stop in and you wont be disappointed. Even if youre not nearby, it will be worth it to go there, even out of your way.

Small store with a nice selection of games and merch. Saved my hinny from getting frowns from the kiddos on Christmas morning 😁. Staff was super helpful and referred me to a card shop that had a larger MTG selection. Will visit again

Best Game Stop in all of California. I have been to thousands of sites for game reservations to trade ins. The crew at this location is very thorough and makes you feel the value in everything you buy.They do an amazing job of suggesting games to by for kids to adults as me and my son walk out happy every time we come. I wish this store could be bigger as it is too small for such a big turn out. The crew here definitely will be my go to for anything gaming and I highly recommend you come here when in town. You wont regret it!

This store is full of helpful and energetic employees and i had a great experience there but theres a woman who works there of asain decent who is just absoluetly gorgeous. She caught my eye and when she started talking to me i almost froze up. i dont think ive ever seen someone as pretty she should be working as a model not mopping the floors at gamestop.

Went there on Black Friday only because it was in my way to work and I couldnt make it to the one I usally go to. It was busy because of Black Friday which I had no problem with but when I got to the cashier to do a credit transfer from my normal store to this one, the cashier was super rude and didnt want to do it.

I go to buy a duel charger for ps4 and It only had one charger and i take it back and the guy laughs in my face and tells me gamestop standards only require the pack to have one. Well in that case tell the customers this before they buy the stuff or lable the bags that way.
