The service at the store is terrible with uninformed staff. Any kind of help requires an appointment and then it still takes forever. It never feels like the specialist is trying to help you. From now on I will use Best Buy where I can receive actual help.
Waited for 30 minutes, then deal with a representative who couldnt get his system to work for another 30 minutes just to walk out in the middle of helping me for his break without any word of what was going on.
I came in person to transfer my account to someone elses and was turned away because I need to call an 800 number. I came in person for a reason. The phone experience with Verizon is terrible and takes too long. After asking to transfer the account in person twice, I was still turned away. Is this a new policy Im not aware of? All account transfers much be done online?
Decided I was ready to switch to Verizon so I made the trip to the store on Sunday 6/27/21. Sadly the store was closed. It was not advertised anywhere on this page, Verizon’s website or anywhere else that the store would be randomly closed the last 3 Sunday’s of June.I will assume that was the universe’s way of warning me that I should not switch. I would be careful if you are traveling to this store though. Their inconsistent hours and inability to communicate pre-planned closures will result in me never attempting to visit this store of switch to Verizon again.
Lady with curly hair in this store is super rude and unprofessional. I work in a company where we use Verizon with all our work phones and my intention is to have a phone upgrade. It was raining and she asked to wait outside which I understand because of Pandemic. I specifically told her what make nd model I am planning to get. She asked me to pay the remaining device balance upfront using Verizon app, which I did. When I am ready to get the upgrade, she yelled at me saying we dont have that device anymore! I told you! I am very upset about her behavior. Unfortunately I didnt get her name as she did not introduce herself at all. She is very unprofessional and rude.
The lady asked me to wait an hour outside while it’s raining. I would understand that they want to limit people inside due to Covid. She told me that I needed to pay outstanding balance over the phone/online (which Idid) to get a phone upgrade. Cane back to her and yelled at me saying they don’t have the device anymore. Super rude and misleading.

Needed to upgrade my daughter’s iPhone. We walked in & Eddie Chavez greeted us immediately. He was very friendly & ‘low key.’ He went over all the choices (model incl pros/cons of each, storage size, etc.). He wasn’t pushy & never tried to ‘upsell’ us on the phone or accessories.He took care of the entire process in about 15 minutes & was professional throughout. Great experience from start to finish.
Waited 30mins and they cannot figure out the problem....I was there over one hour. I told one the workers i have been waiting for one hour and he answers other customers wait for couple of hours. Really really....? that is what you have to answer? What a service.
Great service from a very knowledgeable staff. I was able to actually lower my monthly bill and keep the same features of my old plan. Kenny is a terrific salesperson and very supportive of customer needs.
My experience has been very good. Dustin is my guy. He has provided five-star experiences for my family and me every time. In my opinion, the key is getting the right guy to help you. Too many people out there BS their way through a sale. With Dustin, there is no BS. He knows his stuff.
Friendly service. Parking in downtown can be a pain. This is an actual Verizon store which I prefer over an authorized reseller.
Me and my girlfriend went to Verizon to get her a new phone and switch from Sprint. Sadaf Khair greeted us and helped us through the whole process. She was one of the kindest and most professional representatives Ive dealt with in the 20 years Ive been with Verizon. She was a 10 out of 10!!

Version just keeps getting worse, no customer service in stores went in to update my plan only to get a over charge for going over the plan, why doesnt the sales representative explain that it effectively take this month even though I already paid for this month, Im about to just cancel my whole plan. Im so over their greed and lack of assistance.

The employees here MUST work on commission because if youre not the one whose wallet is yet in their sight, they dont care a whit about ya! It was very clear for the twenty minutes that I waited that nobody had any intention of doing anything but taking their time to try to sell as much as they could to the customer they already had.I still dont have a phone for Thanksgiving because mine broke! Thanks Obama!

Dont ever like going to the Verizon store, especially this Walnut Creek location. Always a line, always a crowd and always a wait. One can make appointments ahead, so lesson learned! We have stayed with Verizon over the years, as the network works better domestically and overseas, but cost is high and customer service is poor and inconsistent. With a recent phone purchase, found out that a warranty plan had been tagged on that we did not ask for and were being billed for it. So please check paperwork carefully.
Came to the front door today. Apparently, an employee is outside to greet you and wont let you in the store unless you check in with that employee. I told that employee we are just looking around, opened the door, and let my girlfriend enter first. We entered the store and did just that, looking around while all eyes on us like a target on my back. I would like to thank this place to make my girlfriend and my experience in how they treat new and old customers most uncomfortable. Verizon need to fix this.
Why do I even believe that the customer service from employees at the Big Electronic Retailers in downtown Walnut Creek are going to be respectful? Why?! Maybe because Walnut Creek shopping has a reputation of being good quality and good customer service. Maybe because, everyone I know, loves the shopping in Walnut Creek. Who knows really. But yup, another bad experience with a retailer in Walnut Creek, sadly it was the second time I had a poor experience at the Verizon store - and its supposed to be a Corporate store (but, I cant assume that that necessarily means better customer service or quality for that matter, in fact, I have had better customer service at non-corporate Verizon stores).With my most recent visit, I was merely inquiring about any specials they might be having on their Mobile Jetpacks, thats it. Comparison shopping. I was so rudely spoken to in a very quick and extremely curt manner, even when I giggled a little to just lighten the air, the guy (again didnt catch his name) just glared at me. He did explain about a rebate they had for their JetPack, and I inquired about e-waste and how to go about it. The reply (in a snotty tone) I received was I can just throw your current jetpack in the e-waste pile right now, thats when he called another employee and said, if you need any help, you can call Lynne - it was the strangest interaction, really. I honestly dont know why inquiring about specials or promos of their Jet Packs resulted in such rudeness.Will I return to this store location? Doubt it. Their customer service is the absolute worst. Not nice, not polite, extremely condescending, judgmental and rude, and the reps dont even attempt at being nice, except for when customers initially walk in.
They are the worst. I waited for 2 hours, bought a new phone and was left alone without assistance or help setting it up. I later found out they SOLD ME A USED PHONE. Do not waste your time or money.

Went into the Verizon store in Walnut Creek tonight. I was disappointed with my previous iPhone and my repeated calls to customer service. I was helped by an employee named Paris and she was so wonderful! I have never met a verizon employee so wonderful and willing to help!
I love Verizon.However, the Management and staff were unhelpful and rude on an almost epic level. Verizon should be ashamed to have these upper level people representing their store
This store is amazing. Especially Manny and Heather. When I had an issue with the Danville Verizon Store, Manny and Heather called the third party vendor to assist with a horrible store situation. They got the issue cleared up and made what would have been a bad situation must better.
I have been to the store many times. First thing you get walking in is a greeting and put in line. The manager was at the door, never acknowledged my friend (a long time client)and me. He was having a conversation with his employee explaining something to him. I waited expecting the common courtesy of a hello. It never came so I asked him if I could get on the line, he stopped me and said I dont know why you are rushing me there are 3 people ahead of you and I am helping my employee. John the manager never changed his rude attitude. Very disappointed in Walnut Creek Verizon. Maybe this review will remind management how to set the example in treating clients coming in the door.

Horrible phone service. Simply wanted to talk to store salesperson about getting another sim card. Impossible. lots of advertisement but no way to get the help I need or talk to anyone. Absolutely worst phone experience Ive ever had! ugh.
Great customer service. Went into the store cause my note 3 got stolen. The staff was very welcoming and made sure they helped with what ever they could. The general manager was amazaing. Not only did he help get me my phone from the insurance company he got me the note 4 since they didnt have the note 3. I will alway go to this store from here on out and only this store. I will also tell my staff and friends to go here also. Great job to the gym Eric jara
