Ive had nothing but great experiences with VIP Watertown! As a first time customer replacing my tires a few years ago I was treated professionally and offered very competitive prices. After that initial experience Ive returned to have new brakes done, an electrical issue addressed, a battery replaced, and for regular oil changes. The staff is great and super helpful!

I had a set of tires delivered there and they installed them and did some routine maintenance. Everything went great so I decided to give them a try with some repairs on another vehicle. They did a complete brake job (pads, rotors and calipers) plus a wheel alignment. Good quality work and great experience again. I will be going back next time I need something done.

I’ll never go anywhere else. I had used multiple places in Watertown before going to VIP, and after my first time I knew they were the best. They’ll take you into the garage and actually show you what’s wrong and future concerns to watch out for. I’m very familiar with cars and I do some work on my own, and they’ve always taken great care of our vehicles. I’ve had horrible experiences at other local places, so I’m glad to have an honest and fair place that I can trust.

I have used VIP Auto in Watertown for many years. They consistently provide excellent service. A week ago I took my car in to replace a headlight, and they found in addition a burned out rear taillight, a nail in a tire, one wheel out of alignment causing uneven tire wear, and the rear brakes completely worn down. They fixed all of these in 2.5 hours while I waited. I appreciate their having wireless internet service in the waiting area. I am very pleased with their service.

I had a great experience at VIP Tires to fix my popped tire.To be honest, my experience didnt start out great. I did some research online and made some phone calls before deciding on VIP. There was a chat option online, and the representative told me to just bring my car in. Unfortunately, this didnt mean I had an appointment or that I could be serviced right away! I was told there were at least 4 cars ahead of me and that I could wait, leave the car, or bring it back later. Seeing as I had no alternative ride and some free time, I decided to just wait. Im not sure why there is even an online chat option if it didnt make a difference ...Anyhow, I was greeted by Marco who took a look at my car and ran through some numbers with me. We agreed on a price to replace the tire. Marco was very professional and informative. Before starting to work on my car, I was able to meet the technician (Edward), who made some further recommendations. I did not feel pressured at all, and felt that VIP had my best interests at heart.Prices were competitive, service was great, facility was clean, staff was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend VIP!

They always call ahead of time to let me know of any additional services that need to be done, and are extremely professional and diligent with their work. I live just over the line in Brighton and there are numerous auto repair businesses to choose from on Arsenal street. I always come to VIP for tires, oil changes, or other issues that need attention because of their friendly and professional staff that cares about their customers. They always seem to squeeze me in even if they’re busy, but scheduling ahead is always the best move. Amazing attitudes from the front desk technicians, I usually come in when Marco is working and he is attentive and quick with paperwork and transactions, as well as triaging between the phone and in person customers. Convenient location and reasonable hours, these guys work very hard and deserve not to be stuck here all night.

How come Ive never heard of this store before?! Im mad at myself for not discovering it years ago!Im the type of person that requires excellent customer service and that is exactly what I got at VIP.I was looking for a Michelin tire as a spare and decided to go into the store to buy a couple of things and as soon as I went to the cashier my tire was ready. Marco, Anthony, and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. My only regret is that I brought the four tires from one of their competitors, and that will never happen again! VIP tires and service is the place where I will ALWAYS go to.

I got my appointment time, 10 am., which was convenient for me now that I am retired. The person who helped me with everything was patient, even chatted with me later. He looked for all of the veteran discounts he could find for me. Salesperson 16724 did a super job to help me out and let me know what I needed to keep my 10 year old, low mileage Chevy truck in good shape. Thank you so much VIP.

I went in for a tire patch and ended up needing to replace the leaking tire. VIP was very helpful and helped me choose to just replace the one tire to get through the summer and then buy nice snow tires for the winter (they said the tires on my car were all season but they were not nice ones!). They easily could have talked me into replacing all 4, so I appreciated their honesty. They will now be my go to for all of my service needs with my new car!!

Incredibly helpful. I am from out of state and my car started making a banging noise. I called VIP and Jeremy did not think he would have an appointment but told me to come by so he could take a look. It turns out it was a loose skid plate and they were able to remove it right then. My experience today at VIP Auto in Watertown, MA was phenomenal. The night before my engine started overheating and for a while now I knew I needed to get my breaks checked plus my oil change was overdue. I walked in right before work the next day and they quickly tended to me. About 1 hour later I got a call explaining what I required and by 4pm everything was ready. Marco and his team are very thorough and provide excellent service for the customer. Id come back again for any issue and would recommend them to anyone.

They were brand new tires and I was unsure on how the tire could possibly be fixed.Everyone I talked with at VIP went above and beyond. Went to VIP recently because my brakes were making some awful noises - the staff were super friendly, helpful, and informative. They sent me photos of the brakes and rotors to explain what the problem was and fixed everything up wonderfully. The services here might be a bit pricey compared to some local shops, but this location is super convenient for me so its worth it!

I went here to get my winter tires put on and they also noticed my break pads needed to be replaced. It was great that they let me know and even took me back to show me on my car to make sure I knew they were not trying to tack anything on. I appreciated their service!

I went to VIP recently when one of my front low beams appeared to be out. I went because I had heard that you got free installation of new lights if you purchased them from OReilly, which is attached to the shop. The guys at VIP greeted me and came out to look at my apparently dead light; they said it seemed pretty straightforward, but they wanted to properly assess the issue and see if anything else was amiss. That sounded good to me (I really appreciate honest mechanics), and they gave me an accurate wait time -- about 30 minutes, which wasnt bad for a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon.Oddly, when they started my car back up in the shop, the front low beam came back on... which was extremely annoying to me, haha. The guy who had been helping me (whose name I wish I had gotten, because he was great) was very upfront: He said that while hed love to take my money by replacing something I didnt need (ha!), the best thing to do was for me to just keep running it and see if the light burned out again. If not, then it was probably just a blip. If yes, then Id need an entire electrical diagnostic, which would take hours and be costly, and he didnt think it was warranted yet. I appreciated that level of honesty -- and the mechanic did find that one of my reverse lights was actually out, so they replaced that for me.When I went to the counter afterward to settle up my bill, the guy said, Okay, so one rear light... thats gonna be billions of dollars (it was $10.63). He also gave me a card that said if I wrote a Google review, I could get a free oil change, so... here I am! Honestly, though, I really liked this place -- they seemed a lot more transparent and capable than the mechanic I usually go to, and I liked that they seemed invested in wooing me as a repeat customer, even though all they did on my car was replace a bulb. Id definitely feel good about taking my car back there for any future work I need!

I have been going to VIP Tires and Service for over 5 years and strongly recommend this establishment. There are other tire places closer to me but I have found that between shopping VIP website online, calling VIP to ask a few questions relative to whats in stock, scheduling service and estimate, its all well worth the trip and I saved money too.

I recently got one tire replaced on my car, and the staff did a wonderful job of finding the one that best matched my current tires, and explaining to me my options. They also had no problem talking through and quoting me for upcoming work I have to do on my car, and even attached the quote info to my receipt. Overall very stress free experience, I will definitely be returning!

I had such a positive experience at VIP. Marco helped me out with several issues and answered all of my questions. I needed a new battery, rear tires and rear brakes and he walked me through all of my options, keeping my budget in mind. He kept me informed every step of the way and even texted me picture updates to show me what was going on with my car. Their work was incredibly quick and I got my car back sooner than expected! The facility followed all COVID safety protocols and I felt very safe during all of my trips there. I have gone to VIP the last 3 times I have had car troubles and their exceptional service has convinced me that I will never go anywhere else. I would highly recommend VIP!

Nice place, convenient location, and good quality tires. I had my front tires replaced. They tried to upsell me on tires and a tire pressure sensor. They also tried to charge $434 to replace my lower control arm (dodge caliber) when the part is $165 from the dealer, and labor is maybe $100 per hour. I went to another place and got the parts and labor for $250. It is probably possible to haggle a bit on some prices, if you have the energy for it.

This is the only place I bring my car for repairs. The service is excellent, the management is very happy to serve, and when Ive had a problem theyve worked with me to diagnose it. They are also SUPER willing to talk me through any repair I need to have and how itll be fixed/what the costs are. These guys are truly great.

Had a wonderful first experience here, thanks to Marcos! Discovered a nail in my tire on a late Friday afternoon. Had an engagement I needed to be at early on Saturday morning. Despite having multiple tire shops within walking distance, every shop was closing or didnt have my small tire (Chevy Spark) in stock. VIP was able to accommodate me first thing Saturday morning to replace the tire with time to spare. Cant thank Marcos and the VIP team enough.

I got a brand new set of tires for about $100 less than the previous time I purchased this exact set of tires for a competitor. The services was fast and very friendly. Because this location shares a space with OReillys Auto Parts, I was also able to get new bulbs. Very Convenient.

My friend noticed I was price shopping for tires and recommended the Watertown store. I am so glad I took his advice. The store had four tires in the price range I had to work with, and at a total price lower by hundreds compared to other shops. My price included tires, mounting, disposal, valves, balancing, alignment, and road hazard coverage. Tire rotation is free at the next oil change, too. No hidden fees. It was pure convenience that I could also have a synthetic oil/filter change while the car was in the shop. This was all pleasantly arranged for me by service manager Marco Jervoso, and carried out by the really professional tech crew I was able to observe working on my car. I am extremely satisfied and will return for service.

I went to VIP in Watertown this week to buy seat covers the sales clerks were no help!!!I when over to the service department and met jay and jimmy at the desk they were busy, I asked for their help on picking the right cover because of Covid I can’t return them. They were amazing They goggle the one I picked out looked at my car to make sure they would fit. I had the wrong one.
