I had never shopped at a Hannaford Supermarket. So I was surprised by the goods and the great prices at this grocery. We were out of state on a job and needed supplies and we could not have found a better grocery. Really wish we had this store in Virginia!!!

Really disappointed. I usually like shopping here as it is one of the best grocery stores in Watertown, but lately their service has gotten worse and worse. Their shelves arent getting restocked often, and customer employee interactions are pretty rough as well. Ill update my review if I notice any difference over the next few months, but its becoming kind of gross to shop here. Attached are a photo of some moldy English muffins. Literally couldnt buy any bread products as they were all expired and/or moldy.

The cashier was very helpful helping me with my $10 off coupon which I needed help with

First time in this grocery store. I am an Army Veteran with a service dog. The staff was extremely helpful with me finding what I was looking for since I was not familiar with the store. Even though my service dog is well trained, it was the first time when she stopped while I browsed the shelves she laid down and crossed her front paws. This means she is not stressed nor feels that Im stressed. This will be the store I will always shop going forward. Thank you Hannaford for giving us a great experience.

This is definitely my first choice of grocers when shopping in the Watertown area. Fresh produce and great selections.

Love having a Hannaford nearby since I’m from Maine, I only wish that they carried Raye’s Mustard like the stores in Maine do.

Pretty cool place that sells some stuff I like to categorize as groceries which I know weird word right? But if you think about it it exactly explains what they sell ya know? Grocery items I thought it was pretty crafty of an idea that I probably made up to call that it would get higher stars if it didnt smell like nuts so much. I only buy nuts during the holidays so its no exactly a nice smell year round

Fix the huge hole outside of your entrance. Month and half ago I suffered a grade 3 ankle injury. I have not been able to walk on it since. Ive experienced loss of so much over this situation. I dont think Ill be able to return.

Best produce you’re going to find around town besides farmers markets. The prices seem to be comparable to the big store across the street but the quality is vastly better. I’m very satisfied with the selection. Staff is friendly and efficient. They have actual humans that ring up your groceries too! What an idea! This is my family’s go to week after week.

I really like this store. Its got the best lookin produce around. They have a lot of stuff. They try and keep it stocked and cleaned. They do have restrooms and electric scooters. They also have benches to sit in the front of the store. Theres also a coinstar.

I like Hannafords! Im a Walmartian, its cheap and familiar. But we tried out Hannafords for the first time and I really enjoyed it, particularly the bakery section. Well definitely be shopping here for special occasions, desserts, and fancy dinners for sure.

Ordered delivery, which went well but when putting up groceries noticed blackberries were al molded .called customer service and the lady was super rude and acted like i was wasting her time. Then said i had to bring them back to get a refund. Then i explained i dont drive due to medical condition and a cab there and back would be $14. Then acted annoyed and said call insticart because aparently the shopper didnt look at jthe produce and she needs to be a better shopper. Rude!

This store is a great one. They have so many varieties to choose from, and they have a gluten free section, along with an organic section. Also, everyone is super nice.

Hanaford is a nice market. They have things that I am unable to find at other stores. The staff is always friendly and professional. The prices are competitive with other stores in the area as well.

I expect that a place of business during a pandemic would try to enforce the mask required rule. The young stock man not only made no attempt to ask the woman to wear a mask but was rude and swore at me for asking him about it. Maybe he needs additional training on customer service and respect. Wearing a mask is a sign or respect and care for others around you. I understand the challenge in getting some people to comply but to just say We cant make them and it is ridiculous is not acceptable.

Its an ok place but expect to go to another store to find what you want. Dont go to the bakery. They somehow manage to devoid all pastries of flavor. Youre better off buying a box cake. Pretty sure they make their cakes with water and expired sugar. JFC.

@Kyle Barnes Just so you are aware; the needle boxes are for diabetics. When they have to take insulin injections it is nice to have an appropriate place to dispose of the needle. Hannaford is one of the best places to buy groceries in Watertown.

Clean..great place for meats and seafood although seafood selection is small its always been fresh and their produce has always been fresh and they carry baby boc choy...prices on non sale items seem a little high but thats just about everwhere now days

Cecil the Butcher was knowledgeable and helpful my Rouladen came out perfect.

My family is vegan and have gluten allergies this store has quality food at a price in my budget. After negitive experience with Walmart and tired of shopping and many diffent stores I just shop here becouse of quality price and affordability. I got a months worth of groceries for 307 for my family of 4.

Watched a guy without a mask walk in and no one asked him to mask up. When I asked staff to say something they said the signs on the door are all they can do. BS, absolute BS

I just wanted to reach out and say how appreciative my family is that your store is using a light touch in its reaction to this situation. While most stores around town are barraging their clients with rediculous customer flow restrictions, wrong way signs on the floors, one way in and one way out entrances and exits, you have remained focused on your customers shopping experience which is appreciated. Every senior citizen should shop with you because the other stores have turned shopping into a nightmare gestapo experience which is just sad and un necessary. Were not dealing with Ebola, its slightly harsher than flu and should be treated as so. Thank you for not taking the knee jerk over step path and keeping the shopping experience as close to normal as possible. You have my future business 100%

The prices are great and it isnt usually crowded 24/7 like Walmart at all times. Worth it if you need the essentials like food and toilet paper or diapers but dont want to deal with large crowds.

I have not been this angry and repulsed with a grocery store in my life. This visit required 3 visits and disputes with staff members to finally resolve all the issues. It started yesterday when I came in to stop for dinner, breakfast and other grocery items. I came through the line and the lady was rushing me through. Before I could even take my card out of the machine she was already on to the next person. I asked her if I only had the three bags. She rushed me out in a rude tone saying yes yes! I got home and sure enough all the meat items were still there. I called back only to find out they put it all back up on the shelves to be sold again! The response I got was Theres nothing we can do about it. We cant just leave it out! At this point Im raging because dinner should had been already on the table and I have to waste my gas money to drive clear across town to fix there mistake. When I got there the manager was nice helpful and gave me my items and a small amount on a gift card (which is the only reason Im not giving this a one star review). I got home put everything in the fridge and made dinner. However the next day, when I just opened the ham (the breakfast item I bought) it was all slime. I put it back in the fridge and called again after work, but when I got there there were only MORE problems! One manager said I could exchange it for another item or get cash back, so I didnt have to wait for 7-10 business days to go on my card and fix THEIR mistake, but when a cashier was doing it, another woman (I assume a different manager) lit right into her and was rude with me. The one girl got nervous and made it sound like I left them ham out and it went bad (even though it came to me this way) and the woman getting on to the cashier started debating with me over it. Finally, she gave me cash and I just walked out. Dont shop there if you want to be treated with dignity and to be sure that your meat is going to be fresh!

I love shopping at Hannafords. The clerks are really friendly and helpful. I only wish the hamburger prices were more affordable especially during the summer months when families cook out on their grills.

I would have given 5 stars but cashier was not very friendly & put all bakery items in one bag causing tiramisu to smoosh. The gentleman in the bakery was very helpful & courteous he gets 5 stars! The dessert assortment I got was delightful & the store areas were clean.

I was very stressed that people didnt have masks on and no one was allowed to say anything to them. Come on people, get with the program at this time. I wont be there for awhile!! Please start cleaning between customers also

So shopped here earlier today and my sons had to use the bathroom and once we got in the bathroom I seen this and my kids were asking what that is and everything else. From my perspective this business is saying come in and shoot up with your needles and heres a place you can dispose of them
