Theyre a good dealership with nice and helpful people. Cant really ask for much more than that. They treated us fairly, gave me a good deal for my trade, and when I came back and needed to replace my lost records, they were able to get them to me within minutes. Their service department is professional and a great departure from other dealership service departments who will magically always find something extra that urgently needs attention.
My truck went in for service. 6 weeks later the warranty work was completed. The day after I got my truck I noticed my headlight mount is broken. During the extensive under hood work they say there is no way they broke it. This is not what I expected from a place like this.Update. I appreciate the response- but the service manger has this picture. I would never come to google before exhausting my options locally.
Huge shoutout to Thomas Duda at Central Maine Motors! Not only was he able to get me the car of my dreams, he did what 3 other dealers in the area would not do: sell me a car! We came in with financing from our credit union and nobody else at other dealers would even entertain us, let alone make us feel welcome. Thomas was incredible from the very first phone call to the last conversation at the gas pump while he filled up our gas tank in the new car.I 1000% recommend him, and will follow him to whatever dealership he’s at. He worked really hard to make me feel included in the process, he was transparent and was super patient with me. He never pressured me into buying anything extra but he was thorough in explaining my options. Not only did he juggle multiple guests every time I was there; he was cordial + genuine to every one of us, but more importantly: he tried to make the process as quick as possible without making anyone feel rushed or neglected. I have had 3 appointments now where I have waited for my truck to be looked at and they have been 7:30-8:00 am appointments.My last appointment was for an inspection sticker and the appointment was at 8 am. I was there at 8 and they drove my truck out to be looked at and it sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes before they took it into the garage. ( I was out back and watched this happen on 3 different appointments and no other vehicle was brought out of the garage before they brought my truck in)30 minutes go by and I see a few employees coming outside so I go into the service area to check on my truck. They go check with the mechanic and all is good with my truck and they are putting a sticker on it and will have it right out for me.I get early appointments so I do not have to wait around and watch my truck sit out back for 30 minutes ( on 3 different appointments)This is a little troublesome to me.

At first I was disappointed that the kbb part of your website is a farce because it doesn’t even come close to the actual amount that your vehicle is given towards trade in, but that said the rest of my experience was outstanding the salesman Garrett was fantastic and worked his butt off to get me a great deal which I am truly grateful for. Adam was amazing! He listened to what we wanted in a vehicle, and helped us find exactly what we wanted. It was apparent he wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase, and wasnt just trying to make a quick sale. We will be back soon to purchase a vehicle for our daughter.
All went to plan the only issue was the coffee maker in the customer waiting room. Where I choose to wait with my truck I tried to use the maker and found about 1/3 of the selections on the maker did not work. Minor I guess but maybe if they see this they will have it repaired.
Our family has bought a total of 5 cars/truck from Central Maine. My husband, oldest son and I have bought 3 from Samuel Poulin-Lapierre and I must say that with every purchase he has gone well above and beyond in customer service... patience with me in deciding my last Jeep purchase to follow up after the purchase he has always given 110% customer service and is a pleasure to work with while purchasing and working through the buying process. I purchased a certified 2018 Equinox one year ago with 23,000 miles on it. I brought the vehicle in for annual scheduled service and inspection. When I picked it up I was informed that one brake pad and rotor would not pass inspection, one other was close to failing, and that all four should be replaced. The estimate given me was $820. In the year since purchasing this certified vehicle I only drove about 4000 miles and garaged the vehicle. My professional experience includes about 12 years in automotive sales, sales finance, and sales management, as well as 20 plus years as a F&I trainer and special finance regional mgr. It is very unlikely that the brake pads wore to the point of failing inspection over 12 months and 4000 miles. It is more likely that the UC mgr did not have the service department replace the worn, but inspection passing pads and rotors. That is not my interpretation of a certified used vehicle. Perhaps the brakes were acceptable in the opinion of the UC or GM, but clearly that was not the case. I have likely purchased my last vehicle from CMM. I questioned whether it is normal for a certified vehicle with 23,000 miles at purchase date to need brake replacement after one year and 4000 miles of driving. I have never seen a personal vehicle need brake work at 27,000 miles, especially a 3 year old quality SUV without a trailer hitch. I requested that my sales person inquire about providing some financial help on this repair due to the facts I just outlined. He returned my call and stated you would not because it does not fall within the certified warranty. I knew that, like I said I am a retired automotive expert in sales, finance, and warranty sales. I will do my best to steer my entire circle of social influence to purchase their future vehicles elsewhere. By the way, I was given an estimate for replacing all four brake pads and rotors of $350. That is a far cry from $820 quoted by your service writer, brandon. Obviously, you could have offered to do this work for at least half of your quoted estimate as a showing of good will considering this is a certified vehicle and it is very likely your sales, service, and/or management team either missed the needed brake work or purposely chose to bypass replacing them because 4000 miles ago they passed inspection requirements. That is a very poor reflection of your integrity in labeling this 2018 Equinox with 23,000 miles as Certified. I am very disappointed.

Worse customer service will do anything to make the sale and then tell you youre beat when its trash less then 24 hours later. On top of that all four people I sent there never got my commission check and they all have had issues within the first six months.

Ive called twice to have service done to the car I bought from them 8 months ago. Both times the woman was rude. They are scheduling over a month out. She refused to look up if my the part my car needed was under warranty or transfer me to someone that could help me. I would not recommend using their service department.

I have a 2021 Suburban I needed an oil change and tire rotation on. I sat in the waiting room, which wasnt very long, and completed. After I left later that day I realized I forgot to ask for a Maine inspection sticker, so I drove it in the next day, asked if I could get one and they walked me in. Done and Done. The People there are always friendly and courteous.

Do to Covid-19 I do not travel much since I am disabled. I called this dealership this morning at 0810. The receptionist answered the phone who was pleasant. I asked for sales. I tried till 1000 hours to get someone in sales to assist me. I was told they are short staffed. However I believe 2 hours to speak to someone about a dodge caravan is absolutely ridiculous. I managed a business for 20 plus years and would be extremely upset if this ever happened to my customers or potential customers.
Incredibly poor service. Where to start! After buying a pickup there we had them put a black wax on the paint, when I showed up to pick it up there was a 3 gouge in the side. Their service department backed into a pole damaging the tailgate and rear quarter panel. Instead of replacing the parts with new ones they used bondo. I bought a brand new Jeep wrangler and the rear window panel latch was loose and the roof leaked. I had to continuously bring my Jeep back to the dealer every couple of months for 2 years and they were never able to fix it the roof. When Jeep was ready to replace my top with a hard top CM told them that my roof didn’t leak it was now the a different window panel. These are just a few of the many horrible events that took place before I decided that I would take my business elsewhere! I recommend trekking 15 more mins to Charlie’s in Augusta!

I went to Central Maine Motors to look at a Subaru that hadnt hit the lot yet. Kevin Beck went above and beyond (near the end of his day) to track down the Subaru, which was waiting to be detailed, and let us look it over and drive it in the parking lot. He was very attentive and emailed me the next day after finding out the car in question, was actually sold (it had a tag in the car, but no notes, so he verified that for us when the other locations were open).We ended up having to purchase our second vehicle from another dealer the next day, only because they had a different Subaru at a price we couldnt pass up. Time was of the essence for getting our second vehicle.Though we purchased the vehicle elsewhere, we wouldnt hesitate to come back to Central Maine and see Kevin, as it was truly exceptional customer service and care.Highly recommend.

So I get it from post office with no return address either. So long story short this woman had to pay for a birthday card from your group because why? We purchased an used pick up truck on a snowy night. We were told it was a great buy. It met our qualifications of price and mileage. They replaced the hose and connectorcoming from the water pump and right ball joint. They supposedly took it for test drive and said everything was fine. The next day we took it and the same sound was there. We took it to another dealer and was told we needed a transfer case. $1800 later we were told by the dealer at central Maine motors this happens with used vehicles. We suggest if you are going to buy something at this dealer to have it checked thoroughly by someone else. Very unhappy customers

Kbb refered me to this establishment with their instant offer. Went there in hopes of letting go of my SUV 07 nissan murano 170 in miles. They test drove and inspected and low balled me with a $250 cash offer,tried to put me in a new car at the same time, I wont recommend unless your desperate and willing to fall for a trap. Try sites like Peddle, or Carvio where they will give you top dollar for your car. I had got $1,400 from Carvio.

Wonderful experience. We bought a used Fiat from Garrett at a fair price. We had agreed to a price for the most part in an email. On the way there (we drove over 2 hours to look at), he called to let me know that it wouldnt be ready today, (as the shop needed to thoroughly go through it) and offered to have it shipped to our house when ready! He pointed out a few things that needed to be done, and that they would replace the scratched windshield, the tires and address a few other minor things. He still did not deviate from the price we had agreed to. I feel like it was a good day! No price battling! We did have to wait a long time to wrap things up because he was very busy (but we understood, it was the Sat. of Presidents day weekend). It was made easier by the fact that they had clean restrooms, coffee, fruit and cookies. Garrett was really nice and even gave me a rose at the conclusion of the sale (I think he kind of likes me shhh...dont tell his wife)! Very happy with the professionalism, fair deal and hope to be very happy with the auto. Wed go back and recommend them to friends.
I went in to get a reliable and economical car I could take back and forth to work, as I travel a bit. I worked with Bruce and he was so great! I am always early and that never seems to bother anyone. Everyone is pleasant and even those I might not be dealing with that day, are sociable and greet you as a friend and customer of their own.
Purchased a brand new minivan for my wife less than a year ago. She has put 18k miles on it. We have followed the scheduled maintenance guidelines with tire rotations. Had a defective tire that cut out like a square. Come to find out all the tires are practically bald too. I call service department and they basically tell me there is nothing they can do. Toyota puts cheap tires that are softer and wear faster for test drive comfort. So I get less than half of the expected life of the tire and the service adviser says Im on my own to purchase 4 new tires. Not at all impressed!UPDATE: I can not respond to your response. But considering I spent over $40k with your dealership and you have all of my information, do you really expect me to leave my phone number here on google because you cant take the time to look my name up in your computer? Are you somehow absolved of dealing with any issues because I chose to service my vehicle closer to home? Interesting business model you have there.
