I called for an appointment and Yolanda immediately asked my insurance coverage. I have two insurances and they dont take either of them. She said sorry we dont take those bye bye. No advice on where I could go or asked if I would pay out of pocket which I would have.

Great small business to support vs corporate chains!

I have had vision problems since childhood and at 29 had still been searching for a great eye doctor. I have finally found that! I had an exam with Dr. Hillman and for once I finally felt like someone was listening to my concerns, able to offer advice and solutions and actually cared! This was the most thorough eye exam I had ever had too, most other places always felt like they were rushing through everything to get the next client in asap. That was not the case today. At the end, when I was getting ready to leave, Dr. Nehs offered to adjust my glasses for me even though they were not purchased there or anything, so that I could take the retainer-type things I had on the ends of the arms off! The office staff was also very friendly. I will be recommending Dr. Hillman & Dr. Nehs to everyone from now on.
