My mother and I just stopped in to see if anyone could check her tires because she was going back home to Iowa soon. There was a very nice worker named Jacob that was very helpful and went over and beyond to help us. There should be more people like him. He was polite and had a good attitude about his job. The two guys that helped me were very knowledgeable. Told them what I had in mind and they helped me order the perfect set of wheels and tires for my vehicle. At a price I was happy with. Took almost two weeks to get them. Fine with that these days. Installation took about 20 minutes.

Unbelievably friendly staff. I was treated with the upmost respect. When they say they will beat any price they mean it and then some. Dont waste your time trying to find a better price like I did just come here first and you wont be dissapointed. I bought four crossclimate2 Michelin tires that they had ordered in two days.

Ian was very helpful right from answering the phone, very polite and helpful. I had a nail in my tire and he stated he just wanted me to be safe on the roads, brought it in and it was done in 10 minutes. Very kind staff. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone. Great experience in 2021! I am extremely particular about my vehicles and these guys did so many things right. First thing that was apparent was the team work and how efficient they were as a business when working together as a team. Second thing I witnessed was the first and only time in my life Ive seen a tech ACTUALLY activly use a wire brush to clean between hub and rim from proper torque, additionally they correctly torqued the wheels as opposed to tightening them with the impact hand of god. All this at a price that couldnt be beat without pushy sales. Great job guys. Keep up the good work

Very good customer service! Zack, the manager runs a very smooth shop, works out any problems that may come up and makes you feel very appreciated for giving them your business. Every worker in the bays were very efficient and thorough through every step and go over everything with you before they pull your car up and head out the door. No complaints and will definitely make this location my new go to for tires and wheels. Wish all shops gave you the service they do!

I loved my Discount Tires in Mankato and hoped my experience would be the same. With my first visit under my belt I am happy to say I was very pleased and will be a regular customer. I had brought 4 tires in to get mounted onto my vehicle, it took 1hr35min, granted they had 3 vehicles in at the same time so I understood it would take longer then normal. The reason for my 2star review, is the price to get 4 tires dismounted, 4 tires mounted and balanced. It came to $105.63 which is absolutely ridiculous!! I figured it would be priced like any other shop and be $15 a tire. The total shouldnt have been more then $65. The service was ok but the price was absolutely horrible!!! I will never go there again. Be competitive!

Beyond helpful along with not forcefully trying to upset. Just explained the differences in tires then let us choose what we wanted. Cleaned rims as well to get a proper seal which was not extra $$ since we bought tires. Very good prices & above & beyond great service!

Amazeballs is all I can say! I went to another place to get my 6.7 ram full crew 3500 wheels balanced and they told me they could and I showed up and they said no its too big....but I went to the Tires Diacount here in Wasau and boom! They had all 4 wheels off before I got done at the counter in 15 min they were done. Outstanding. Thats what Ill say, they made my day.

Purchased tires from a local competitor before I realized Discount Tire was open in Wausau. The next day I drove to Discount Tire and met Zack who allowed me to purchase the free replacement warranty on my new tires giving me all the benefits of having purchased them from Discount Tire. After 6,000 miles, I went in for the tires first rotation. The service technician recognized one of the wheels had an abnormal amount of added weights. They checked it out and found a defective tire. Zack ordered me a free replacement tire and a few days later replaced it for me. Thank you Zach and the whole team for looking out for me and for the exceptional service you provided. Discount Tire has won my trust for any of my future tire needs.

The trifecta of customer service. Plus, they don’t try to “up-sell” you anything. They’ll recommend the best option(s) based on your budget. I highly recommend the Rib Mtn location.

When it comes to professional, Discount Tire is the best place in the area. I seen a lot of hard work before but only in the military. I am a Active Duty Soldier proud to admit that my experience here was the best. Their sole value on integrity speaks for itself, I needed a tire and rim replace, and they got the new one within a week time frame. I worked with Brandon and his expertise in service and management goes above and beyond I can see why Zack the Store Manager hired him on. Even when I no longer was a resident in Wisconsin anymore, they still allowed me to use the tire that the supplier wrongly shipped them to make my drive down south. Needless to say, the supplier finally send the right rim to Discount Tire and now Brandon shipping me my original down to a store here so I can make my brand new car look nice again. I appreciate everything this repair shop had to offer, I recommend them coming from a soldier.

Arrived about 30 minutes before my appointment and decided to sit and wait in my car. The staff saw me within minutes and came out to greet me and inspect the tires I had on to make sure the tires I ordered would fit. My TPMS light was on and they offered to fix the sensors but I declined because I wanted to budget my money as Christmas was approaching. My car was finished within an hour as promised and I was shocked to find out that they went the extra mile to switch out the sensors! I definitely recommend this place and Ill be coming back in the future!
