My sisters had the worst experience with the so called manager Chris tonight at the Wauwatosa location. I purchased some items a few weeks back and live 3 hours away. I asked if my sister could return/exchange some rod curtains that were purchased a few weeks back when she came to visit me. I misplaced the receipt and needed shorter rods. The store policy says items can be returned for store credit without a receipt and Chris was not aware of this. We weren’t trying to cheat At Home, we just wanted shorter rods. He definitely made a big deal about it and after looking at the policy, he kept saying “I can still deny this transaction” NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE. Maybe he was having a bad day, but how rude!!! I would have never given this review, but his customer service SUCKS! Will not shop at this location in the future so this review has to go up. Not trying to ruin anyones job, but maybe the employees are underpaid and undertrained.

Wall art is better but always have canvas strewn about. Customers just ruin them by not hanging them back up

My first visit would have been a great experience if I hadnt gone specifically in search of storage bins. Unfortunately, all the aisles with storage containers were blocked off due to reconstruction and considered a hazard zone for falling items. Other than that, its a great place to wander around.

We do enjoy shopping at this store BUT today we were there! My sister wanted to by a rug she has been looking at for a while, she has been there 3 times! It was part of a display when you walk in the door, it had a bench, some fake plants and some pillows, we asked if she could buy it,the 3 gals that were standing around right there said No! They werent allowed to sell display items! My sister and I offered to take the display apart and even redo it! NOPE! they would not budge! One gal did check for inventory but nobody had it!, Terrible customer service! They would have sold the rug!

Superduper nice checkout lady here from a few weeks back when I had to exchange out my lamp for another with my roommate. I had to exchange a light and lamp shade and she was so flexible and patient with me. The store merchandise and variety is always great and customer service is through the roof greatness. My one small criticism is I can’t seem to find dark colored lamp shades anywhere. No dark browns or blacks. No store carries them, this one included. Guess it’s not a popular color for a lamp shade. Otherwise great store!

A large portion of the store aisles are blocked off. It’s been blocked off since July 2020 according to the Manager. Much of the merchandise I wanted to shop for was inaccessible. Manager made no attempt to apologize or grab an item for me. Had kind of an “Deal with us inconveniencing you” attitude. I pushed a little and said it’s been like this for months, then he directed me to online shopping. Said they would fill it overnight. Excuse me, but if I wanted to shop online, I wouldn’t have driven to the store. I won’t be back. It’s sad because after they close for good they’ll wonder why they failed.

I visited this store on April 13th and was saddened to see how much it has gone downhill since its opening. I went specifically to look for wall art and area rugs. How do they expect a customer to shop when the frames are organized like this? They had too much inventory and no where to put it. I walked the whole store browsing and then circled back to find the restrooms and did not see ANY employees. This was on a Saturday, which I would think is one of their busiest days.

I love the great selection at this store. I could spend hours there. However, this trip there were quite a few items mixed in the clearance sections that ended up not being on clearance. I caught most but a $10 candle that even had a clearance sticker ran up full price and I didnt notice until I got home, took the sticker off and wrapped it.

Manager Julie was very rude I came in with a return that I just couldnt use on the count of my bathroom being to small I was going to get something smaller for shower any who I ask where the bath area was she says in the same place you got that I said I have only been here once I do not remember as the other manager was standing there she tried to tell me and manager Julie rudely again points across the store and says they same place you got that I walk off not knowing and as if I was talked to rudely I didnt find what I was looking for not that I wanted to buy after the way I was talked to. As a store manager wouldnt treat my customers in that manner I will be gifting item and never returning to this store again they can keep it should be restocking and not talking so much on the walkie as thats all I experienced

Its a good At Home, I think there are supply issues with COVID because I have noticed a lot of empty shelves.

Good place to go to for household items.

I am a handicapped valued customer but I am not allowed to take the electric chairs outside of the building how is a handicap that cant walk supposed to get into their store sign state in-store use only this is ridiculous I will not shop at the store again

Can not leave without spending over $100.. I go in for one thing and come out with 7 things... Absolutely LOVEEEEEEE this store... Today on black friday (2017), didnt get any sale items but I did get two lamp shades for $8 each. I got two white fluffy decor pillows $10 each. I got 3 black multi color decor pillows also $10 each. I got two lovely silver mini tree table Decor for $10 each. I got a black metal coat hook stand for $40. I got these decor charger plates (set of 4) for $14 (these are the nice quality ones). I think that it is a great place to shop they hv everythg u can think of. I love what I buy here, store is always filled with lots of instyle decor and you can always find decent prices. This place is incredible! Huge selection with great prices. However, if you are looking for mirrors or baskets/laundry baskets in Wauwatosa store, call first because they are doing repairs and those aisles are off limits.

Disappointing store. Ive been to the one in Madison and loved it. This location had empty shelves and any shelves that had anything were disorganized and chaotic. The day I was there they had several aisles blocked off due to safety issues. If they wanted to sell pictures or mirrors or if you wanted to buy any, you were out of luck. The appearance of the store indicated it was poorly managed.

My sister and I had recently went shopping At Home. We needed some new decorations for our home. At Home has some nice stuff.

Always a good deal to be found but it takes persistence and time to scour the shelves.

The ceiling of this store is quite literally falling in. The only thing holding the ceiling up is a scissor lift. They dont even allow their own employees to go back there because they dont want a lawsuit. It has been like this for at least a year and prevents me from going to the only section of the store where I care to buy anything, the wall art. I wont be back.

Lots of merchandise but prices are high and store is on the dirty side. Seems like overstock items but prices are as high or higher than department stores. Not many employees around. I only shop here when Im looking for something other stores might not have.

Has a little bit of everything for everyone. The girlfriend likes the store and we normally find some cool things here. Always clean, bathrooms are always stocked and clean.

The staff are very polite and helpful. They have great home decor and art. One can also furnish your house with knickknack needs and sets. Their seasonal items make shopping for holidays a lot easier. Its like a smaller Ikea. I highly recommend shopping here.

This store has had a large section closed but still full of merchandise in the closed off areas for over 2 years now. Its actually absurd. The store is generally kept moderately clean. Be sure to triple check anything you buy here as most furniture on the floor has a chip in it or a wonky foot or some other Issue

Not as nice as the one on layton in my opinion but they do have a more organized wall decor section.

This store is a mess.Its impossible to find the clearance items. The areas with clearance signs dont actually have any clearance items in them. Its infuriating and discouraging. Even items not on clearance are just randomly scattered throughout the store. They have an organizational system set up, but they dont appear to really use it.One time I went there looking for storage cubes, but couldnt because they had blocked off a huge section of the store. There were maybe 9-10 aisles that you just not allowed access to. And no alternatives for getting any items in the blocked off section, barring me from getting what I specifically came to getI always leave this store feeling frustrated.I much prefer the one on 27th. Its so much better organized.

Lots of variety, but make sure you check your purchase out thoroughly. We were looking for patio table umbrellas and stands. 2 of the 3 umbrellas we liked were defective, so we had to settle for our 3rd choice. Very good prices on a wide range of home and outdoor decorative products.

Not the cleanest At Home Ive been to, but still a decent store.

Nice selection, however, a bit pricey. Purchased a headboard for bed yet the setup was not correct for our frame type. Took back to the store exchange or refund. Had difficulty in accepting the explanation that all headboards are of the same design if coming from China or all you need is a few more bolts to secure it. We successfully received a refund after malfunction at register. Went to look elsewhere where we found one that was appropriate for our frame. Lesson, never accept less than what you paid for regardless of what you are told.

It was my first time visiting this establishment and I was taken aback. The store is a hodgepodge of items all over the place and Im sure because of Covid, there was no one to direct me or answer any questions about the layout or anything. My daughter was with me and had been in the store before but failed to tell me about it. I was looking at something specific but still had to look all over only to find out not there. I settled for a couple of things but I wont be back. I only put Covid in parentheses because its, for some, an excuse for everything and just not doing your job. That does not mean all

This was my first time here, and I really liked it. They have a huge selection of all different things for your home. Although the shelves were a mess, and some of them were really dusty, and dirty. All of the pictures/wall art was like stacked on top of each other, so I didnt look at those for long since I didnt want to keep taking out, and putting back, it wouldve taken forever. I ended up buying a nice big, cute dry erase board that Ive never seen anywhere else though.

Watch your receipts and the way your items ring up very carefully! Poor customer service and business practices. Purchased a rug that had a clearance sticker on it. Got home only to realize that they did not apply the clearance discount. Took the receipt, rug, and packaging in to get a price adjustment only to be refused a price adjustment and told by a male manager Thats not how we mark our clearance. when there are multiple other rugs and items marked the exact same way as the rug I purchased. When I pointed this out I was then told that even if an item is marked as clearance it has to ring up in their system at that price to honor it. The only solution presented was he would have a different manager call me tomorrow to see what could be done. We will see if they actually call.

Wide selection of higher quality home goods items. Prices are a bit higher on some non seasonal merchandise, and they rarely have sales. They do give gift receipts, but you can only get one per transaction.This store was well lit, but did not seem to have more than 3 employees working on a Saturday. There were a lot of abandoned carts filled with items blocking aisles. The cashier was nice, but seemed really bored & did not finish bagging my items before taking the next customer. She also tried to cram $300 worth of merchandise into one large bag, including fragile glass, which she did not wrap.

A really cool place to find anything you might need for your home. I will say that the store was a bit if a mess, not all items were marked with prices, and we saw only one store associate while there, and she was checking guests out. With that said, their prices were wonderful enough for the above to not bother us. We just passed on items that required assistance. I will likely be returning in the future. Especially for outdoor yard needs.

The manager of this store has a terrible attitude toward customer service - we bought 2 drape poles at another AtHome store- when I went back to that store, they had none left . So I went to the Wauwatosa store. They had many- so I brought one to the register - I explained all I needed was the hardware, to which the manager replied “ I am not going to break open one of MY products for the sake of another stores problem”. That kind of attitude is what loses stores business. I wish I would have got his name. I have written the corporate office.

I have to say, if I was the manager at this store I would be ashamed of myself. This store has the potential to be successful. Ive never felt so claustrophobic. The pillow isles you couldnt even go down without picking up or running over pillows. Picture frame and wall decor was just as bad. Carts full of items waiting to be put on already over crowded shelves.I couldnt tell who worked there and who didnt. When checking out I didnt know what register to go to, hence whose the cashier. Granted we went there around closing time, still not a reason for the way the store looked vs. who works there and all the clutter.I wouldve giving 2 stars, but I do like the items they sell. This was my second time there. If I ever go back Ill definitely add pictures if the embarrassment of the store.
