I had purchased an invisible shield for my I phone and within 6 months, it started peeling up. I am very careful with my phone and am cautious with where I place it as well as the instillation of the invisible shield. I had to “pay” for a new screen protector as the one I had before was no longer available. Plus you DO NOT GET FREE SHIPPING on replacements even though their site says “free shipping site wide”. So now...not even 2 months after having my new $50 invisible shield....it has a crack in it. It cracked but my screen is fine. No reason it cracked at all!!! Now I have to wait 2 weeks and pay $8 for shipping as the rep there (after spending hours trying to speak to someone at this darn place) said NO FREE SHIPPING for replacements!!!!!! This place is a joke and DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THEM. THEY DONT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS PROPERLY AND YOU WILL END UP PAYING MORE AND MORE IN THE LONG RUN!!!!!
Customer service is horrible. Replacement came damaged and they wouldnt send me a new 1 for free tried having me pay. Todd the rep i talked to kept talking over me as i was explaining my issue which was pissing me off. They no longer sell the glass ones which is what i ordered. Instead got some cheap rubber type screen protector which wont protect your phone. As well as poor installation instructions for it as well. If i could give 0 stars i would. i also waited on hold over 10 minutes for a manger and nothing.
Ive been going to this company for a few years now, at first my screen protector only had to be replaced once. In the 2 years I had my phone. Now I have the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Ive had to replace my screen protector 2 times for a cracked screen and once becuase it would bubble on the edge.. the quality of the these screen protectors have gone down greatly. I wanted to recommend to a friend but would not advise doing that.
I used to be an extremely loyal customer at this kiosk. Every phone in my family used to get done here. Fred T. did amazing work and had excellent customer service skills. Ever since he left, the customer service is terrible. The current guy shouldn’t be working in customer service. I came looking for a particular item and he’s practically happy that it’s not in stock so he doesn’t have to do anything. He didn’t even offer to order more and contact me when they came in, like Fred used to do. How can someone be so happy to not help a customer? Every time I talk to him he’s extremely uninterested in informing me of their products. I also feel like hes overcharging products because I’ve been coming here for over two years and it was not like this before.I am willing to change my review if things improve.
Wish I would have read these reviews before I went there. Unfortunately I was charged $35 to replace my ZAGG on my Galaxy instead of a free replacement. This place is a total ripoff. Thought by going somewhere local better for local business. Will never use this place.
Got a glass elite screen protector for the iPhone 11 pro in the first week of October and within a week one corner had started lifting off the screen, by two weeks all edges of the protector have lifted off the screen and a small crack had spiderwebbed across the width of the screen. At this point the edges of the crack have started to bubble up as well. I’ve had this for less than a month and haven’t dropped my phone once. I tried to file a claim through the warranty and they’re apparently out of stock and won’t be getting another shipment for 2 weeks. Shoddy product, we’ll see how the replacement works. The only saving grace of this product is the lifetime warranty, though I doubt they’ll let me replace it as frequently as it breaks.
Paid the big $$ (3x normal price) based on the lifetime commitment - now out of stock for 6 months. Never again.
Came to the booth to warranty replace my glass screen protector for my Note 9, but they only stock the glass screen elite for the Note 9. Employee tried to upsell me to the glass screen elite for $35. If you advertise a lifetime warranty and have this location as one of your replacement centers you should stock all models, not just your most expensive protector and then demand a $35 up charge on an already $50 model. The Note 9 is a currently a flagship Android phone so only servicing 1/4 of your product lines is unacceptable. Good luck if you have any other type of older phone or didnt want to pay $80 for the elite model.
The initial screen protector is very durable and comes with a lifetime warranty, however you would have to pay $7-$15 dollars for a replacement online or in store. At this location they charged me $10 for a replacement and they took it out of a ziplock bag unpackaged. I found this odd. The replacement doesn’t seem as durable. Only after a week it has scratches and random specks at the end while my initial one lasted 5-6 months without anything even after dropping my phone on concrete/tile several times.I only bought it at its price of $30 because of the lifetime warranty. Next time I’ll definitely just go to Target/Amazon.I do not recommend this product.
Hey Michael Perry, Victor here in case you dont know how to read,. because if you did, then youd understand the policy a little better. (You will have to pay for shipping and handling every time), instead of trying to make up a policy of your own, and since its been 4 weeks plus since you wrote that review (your slander only was brought up to my attention today) i highly doubt it youll visit us, but youre more then welcome.
Quick and easy cell phone screen saver installation. The sales person was refreshingly pleasant and helpful!
Awful customer service. Never want to deal with them again. Be careful getting warranty replacements, company tried to trick you into getting an upgrade. That way they make money.
Amazing customer service, Brandon was a great help and installed my phone case and screen for me perfectly twice now.
I really like the Zagg shield because it’s has a life time warranty!!
Wow, this Zagg Invisible shield...broken in 2 months, now I have spent about a half hour trying to register on line...on hold with the 800 number for 15 minutes and # 62 in their 1 on 1 chat. Not very efficient for me.
Ownership changed recently, replacement screen prices have increased (doubled in my case). Service is efficient but you might have to get the employee from his other kiosks.
Some of the older reviews of this kiosk seem to be fairly negative, leading to it having a low rating overall, but having just visited not only today but also two months ago, I would like to vouch for the quality of service. When I visited two months ago, I was told that they were currently out of stock of the screen protector I needed, but the man behind the counter immediately gave me the day and time he was expecting them as well as the phone number of the kiosk so I could call ahead and check to see if the shipment had come. I was able to return and get my screen protector, no hassle, and the man was very friendly.Today, I visited again due to my screen protector cracking in my purse. The screen itself had a small crack in it from before I had the first protector replaced, and after visiting US Cellular and having them tell me not only that the Galaxy S8 screens never crack and it was completely my fault, not to mention further damage to the screen was likely, I was hurting. The people at Zagg were not only friendly but extremely helpful, recommending a protector that would hold the crack together and prevent further damage to the screen. They said they saw these kinds of cracks often due the design of the S8 infinity screen and had seen others use this particular protector to successfully deal with them. Honestly, I wish I had come to this place at the very beginning instead of being ripped off by US Cellular with their overpriced protective products that dont always work. When the time comes to purchase a new phone, my first stop for protective gear will be here.
Brandon was awesome. $10 to replace my cracked glass screen protector for my iPhone 6s Plus. He installed it nicely and was quick about it. Even informed me about the upgrade screen protector for just $25 and the awesome Zagg protective cases they had on sale. May come back for one of those cases. Excellent service experience. And this beat going through the website and going through the riga-ma-roll and process of waiting for your screen to come in the mail, installing it yourself, and then sending your old screen in and then paying for shipping. Glad I stumbled upon this place in my Google search. Will definitely be telling all my friends to come here!
So I’ve purchased the glass screen protector for my new phone a couple months ago. It only took about a month for the first crack appear. No big deal I thought, I’ll wait for a couple more and use the lifetime warranty on the product. Easy right? Wrong! The [Zagg] website is extremely slow (even on my fast connection), it doesn’t recognize my account even though the credentials are saved into my browser, and when trying to reset the password the website just never finishes loading. All in all, pretty shoddy product with no realistic way of getting a new one shipped to me. (With me paying shipping). Definitely not worth the hassle of dealing with a company like this. Will be looking for other brands when I peel this off my screen.
The Zagg Invisible Shield is useless if you have a Galaxy S8 with the curved edge. The edges dont stick appropriately and it causes the screen to be so insensitive to touch that I have to tap the keyboard or other function buttons several times with more pressure before it registers. Within one week the tempered glass shield cracked from top to bottom without having been dropped. The product worked just fine with my old phone, but is horrible for the Galaxy S8.
Good customer service great for helping with warranty repairs. Quick service and friendly staff!!
They are always great to deal with.
This is not a zagg do not go huge scam
I think they have a scam going on with their invisible shield and lifetime guarantee. these things are so sensitive that if you put your phone down the wrong way i starts to crack. ive gone through 3 in last few months and it should of been at least 12 becasue im lazy and didnt feel like sending them back fast enough. this last one i put on couple days ago and put my iphone in my pocket and when i went to take it out it already started cracking. they say its free but the collect $5 and change everytime they send a new one and postage is $.50 its getting a little annoying.i have gone to the verizon store too every time so they can put it on too. those guys put 100s on everyday.going back to the other brand and happy to pay 19.90 so it last a whole year.( unless i really drop it ).
When I purchased my zagg invisible glass screen protector I was told it has a lifetime warranty and is free to replace. When I went to the store they wanted to change me 20 dollars for a new one. Wont buy another one from them
I had them install invisible shields on two iPad 2s, an iPhone 3, and an iPhone 4, all without a problem. When my wife managed to destroy her iPad 2, I brought the replacement in and they installed the invisible shield free of charge.I have gone to the dark side and will be bringing my Samsung Galaxy 3S and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 in to have them install invisible shields.
These guys are scumbags. I took my brand spanking new iPhone 5 into them, left it with them for a shield install and when I picked it up they tried to give it back to me with a noticeable chip in the edge where the glass front meets the side. I pointed it out as I was handing over my debit card. They acted surprised but had an immediate reply all ready, Oh, I was going to tell you about that, it was already there BS, pure BS. I know it wasnt. I said to them it wasnt there and they immediately said, iPhones always have this happen to them. Ive had 5 iPhones to date and NOT ONE OF THEM had this problem of metal suddenly flying off of them. Then they said, Oh are you accusing me of dropping your phone? WTF, I wasnt suggesting that but since you volunteered the answer, YES, NOW I do believe you dropped my phone!!! I contacted ZAGG and the BBB. Mohammed Khan, the owner, wrote me an email and all he did was ask the guy who dropped my phone if he did drop my phone...end of his exhaustive investigation! Seriously? He then refused to reply to the BBB complaint and ZAGG. Mr. Khan is a private reseller, not a ZAGG employee. By the Way, Mr. Khan is barred from selling securities in IL due to fraud! Just google Mohammed Khan, IL, Ink Global, fraud and see for yourself. ZAGG finally sent me a check for $100 for the damage. These guys are crooks and will lie to your face....AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Excellent service both at kiosk and over phone
Each time I visit, they are out of stock of the screen I need to replace. Call before you go to save yourself the trip.
Stay as far away from this company as possible!!! Dont believe me, just Google zagg reviews and find out for yourself. Tons and tons of websites with tons of negative reviews. Very very shady company!!
I tried calling them at 11:15 AM, no answer. I drove all the way there to get a screen cover replaced and the guy working was eating a donut and had food all over his face. He digs in the drawer for about two minutes before setting down his donut to dig deeper. He finally comes to the conclusion that they are out of iPhone 5S screens. Waste of time.
Terrible service by the owner himself - failed on installing the 1st replacement screen, then cracked the 2nd replacement screen & refused to attempt placing a new screen with 3 screens in stock.
They wouldnt answer when I called so they will be lucky if I buy another product from them
They have the things youll need
Not a real Zagg store
Very professional staff. Grate products
Very professional, costly but worth it
Great Service
Did work for me
Good attribution
