As an adult that hasnt had any practice or knowledge of makeup, coming into Ulta was something that made me anxious. I was instantly greeted walking in, and offered assistance. I met my second mother, Joey. Joey short for Josephine, an absolute lovely person. She took the time to match me for foundation, taught me how to apply it, and the same with concealer. Joey was beyond sweet and helpful taking time explaining things to me and making sure I didnt have any questions or unsure of anything. I was almost in tears with how kind she was to me and so helpful. I cannot thank her enough for all the help she gave me today, I am beyond grateful!

Customer service was wonderful.Missing a few things I hoped would be there, new headbands and the really soft mask 3 packs they had during the beginning of the pandemic.

First time shopper and the clerks were super nice. Got me all signed up for free perks. Got exactly what I needed without hassle too.

Got great help from (sorry, cant remember her name!) The awesome girl who scheduled my daughter for a haircut next week. She educated us on some hair products well be buying next week!

I been paying 65.00 plus fo a silk wrap and you can get the same thing for exact price but with more love i will be calling Ultra Beauty Store. But you can find everything but get your hair done

Best Ulta workers in Milwaukee. Polite. Willing to engage in conversation and help. Recommends the best makeup products. The other locations seem to have snobby workers. Keep it up y’all

Not as helpful as they have been in the past. Salesperson apparently didnt listen to what I was looking for...I ended up returning her suggestion.

Store is always clean and has a great selection in stock. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

I never go into retail stores anymore because I hate the pushy staff and 20 questions at the counter. I took a chance to buy ONE item and I was told they have to have my phone number make a return. Can anyone confirm this?

I am so sorry to do this but I have to give kind of a negative review at this store. The woman who appeared to be the one in charge this evening, who was a light brown/blonde haired, curvier woman was very unfriendly. As I was walking out another woman mentioned how unpleasant and downright rude she was as well. This isnt the kind of interaction I expect from an Ulta store. Not a pleasant experience. Needles to say I didnt stick around long, just enough to get the couple items I really needed. Maybe she was having a bad night...I hope thats all it was.

Social distancing started outside. Once inside staff spoke with you individually to let you know what they are doing for safety and customer expectations. SUPER helpful staff. Answered numerous questions about products. Great selection from drug store brands and high end brands.

I love this store. One way stop for your favorite brand of cosmetics to shampoo. I have gotten my hair cut too and it was great!! Whether you are looking for drugstore cosmetics to high end there is plenty to chose from.

I had an amazing experience with the associate Alex! I was trying to find a shade in the Estdee Lauder Double Wear foundation; not only did she find a CORRECT shade, but she was also extremely friendly and talkative. She is very understanding in the fact that she doesn’t try to shove products in people’s faces with the intention to sell like some associates do. I had an amazing time there with her help!

I went in for an eye brow pencil. A friendly staff gal showed me the kind I was looking for and briefed me on the beauty shop in back. After looking around I asked another clerk what do you have for really dry skin, she looked at me with a strange smile and said what are you looking for like a gold bond. I said yes and she pointed me to the cream section. They do not carry gold bond. I took this as an insult to my age as if all the mature women shop at Walgreens in lieu of Ulta... I found a couple of items I wanted to purchase and stood at the front counter. One clerk was busy talking to another behind the counter and the other seemed to stocking items on the floor. I stood patiently waiting. Another customer came up to the counter at the register next to me, the clerk stocking walked up and said may I help you and rang her items out. I set my items to purchase down and walked out, never to return. I am insulted.

This is my least favorite Ulta location, the one in Wauwatosa and Brookfield have much nicer staff and keep up on stocking the shelves. Didnt have the best experience here the other day when I asked about a palette that was launched but not yet stocked and was then greeted by a woman with black hair and a blue side shave that was very rude and irritated by the fact that she had to be bothered to answer a question. Highly recommend going to a different location if you want to actually have your products in stock.

The benefit brow services are a great addition. I have been seeing Monika for over a year and she is an amazing arch expect who has care and compassion for her clients. The offer great deals regularly throughout the year and always have new products and deals to browse.

Not welcoming. I came here before a few times. I try to avoid this place. They see you but dont greet you or offer to help you. They act like they are too pretty and too good to help.

Floor staff today was amazing; shared information, gave additional suggestions, checked products for item not on shelf.Clerk at check out is another story; after four failed attempts to enter my phone number, eye rolls and attitude from him, I departed the store.Need to reconsider if this is the store for me.

I was here today to get a lot of things with my 20% coupon and the lady helping me seemed so rude and stuck up. Her name was Courtney and she had long, black hair. She truly treated me like it was a huge burden to help me (a paying customer shopping for Christmas presents) everyone else in the store was so polite to me but I will not forget about getting treated awful when asking a simple question. Turns out that once I saw her name tag at the cash register she was a manager!!! So disappointed.

NEED MORE AND LARGER MIRRORS!!! This is a BEAUTY store---how can we tell how it looks when only large mirror is in parlor area that is for the beautician, or the BATHROOM---cant bring potential purchases into BATHROOM!?!? Couldnt believe it-how dumb. Staff was nice. Not their fault. Management!!!

Made an online purchase and when I arrived to pick it up, I was informed the gift that lured me to make the purchase was not available. No offer to substitute. I requested refund. That was my first and last time purchasing from them.

Got a hair cut here--one of the few places where I can schedule a hair cut after 5pm. Cassandra was friendly and efficient and gave me a great cut. Even though I was her last client of the day, she didnt make me feel rushed at all. Cant speak much about the product as Im not one to spend a lot of time in stores like this, but I plan to go back for hair care.

My girlfriend and I walk in she doesnt know much about makeup so one lady helped us out alot ! Great customer service ! Will be back soon.👍

Some of the people who work here are just not friendly at all. But there are a few very sweet and helpful people, wish I remembered there name to shout them out.

They have great products that last and they might be pricey but they have high quality products that last and the employees help you pick out just the right colors. Most of the time when you see an employee, they have lines of different colors or shades of makeup on their hands. That is because most products have testers so you can see the color on your skin.

I love Ulta but I ALWAYS have problems at this location. No one greets me when I walk in and all the employees are always too busy talking to each other to help. So I just simply walk out. I’ll be shopping online now or going to another location

My daughter goes to college and made a hair appt at this store. She was given a price when she made the appt and was told after the haircut it was more money. She also waited 40 minutes before she was called for her appt. No effort was made to give her the price quoted on the phone or a discount for having to wait for so long. Then when she got the items she needed from the store she went to check out. They asked her if she wanted to use points which we had plenty to cover most of the purchase. They; however, wouldn’t let her use the points because they were in my name. She has been using my points at every Ulta but this one wouldn’t let her because she wasn’t me. They also wouldn’t let her call me for me to give my permission to use them. They didn’t have any problem with her using my credit card though. When she called me to tell them what happened, I called and spoke to a mgr and he basically told me that they were more concerned that she was using my points and it wasn’t their business if she used my credit card (which was an Ulta card). We gave her these things so that she can get her stuff when she was away at college. Obviously she won’t be returning to this store. I wouldn’t recommend their salon services either because they didn’t show any care about her having to wait for 40 minutes and they give different prices over the phone than when you get there.

Had the biggest nightmare one could ever have when it comes to hair coloring. Thanks to Erin Konkol, the Salon manager with her knowledge and her great personality, she was able to fix the mistake that was done and provided great comfort in knowing I would be taken care of. The ending result was absolutely amazing... love, love love it! Thank you So much Erin! ❤ I would definitely recommend coming to this salon. Great group of ladies!

The cashiers at the front are friendly but the so called make up artists were unhelpful. Totally ignored me while I was looking at the products. I could have used some guidance but they seem to be happier talking among themselves. I’ll shop online or at Sephora. They actually greet you at the door and assist you.

I am very big into make up and will drop some major money on some nice stuff. I stopped in without makeup on because I was going to use the makeup I was picking up that day at Ulta. When I finally found someone to help me I asked him where the Jacklyn Hill palette was and he looked me up and down rolled his eyes and said in disgust that it was, right over here walked over pointed at it and walked away back to his conversation he was having with other associates. If the other stores carried this palette I would have walked out and went there bc I know damn well what good customer service is and this dude has ruined Ulta for me.

Although i dont color my hair much i still dont like spending a lot of $ to do so. I dropped $200 to color my hair. It turned out so amazing and Mercedes was so wonderful. Id post a pic but my camera is busted

I always find just wh as t I need. Had a sale on favorite conditioner and went to 3 different stores to stock up. Always friendly customer service.

If youre reading this, in currently lost in Ulta Beauty. Im being held here against my will and havent eaten anything but Kylie Jenner products for days. Im not sure how much time I have left, but my skin looks fabulous so atleast Ill die beautiful.

Great customer service today. I got a color match from Ally. She was very nice and asked me which brand I like and helped me pick the perfect color shade for my winter foundation choice and also asked me if I needed any additional help.

Staff was rude and did not want to help. My fiance went in to the salon and they were just as bad. I strongly recommend against going to this place for anything. Many other ultas stores around with staff that is better trained on how to communicate with other people.

When I walked in no one offer to help me only offer to help the lady behind me coming in. 🤔 Besides that I found some pretty pink lip gloss. 😁

Experience was absolutely horrible, waited in line almost 30 minutes while others laughed and talked being really inconsiderate that it was other costumers in line also put the new girl on register... they guy she was trying to get too help her radio was off so it took even longer! Put my items down and never going back.

Worst Customer Service . Went in looking for facial serum testing different brands out . No one offered to help, realize their was a associate following me around thinking I was “stealing”. Another associate saw me past her but didnt say a single word but a lady walked in through the doors she greeted her right away and asked if she needed help . Not the first time that this happened, only went to this location since its closer to home. Love the bayshore location better ! Will definetly not go back to this location .

I wondered around for a solid 10 minutes trying to figure out where the product I used was, clearly looking confused. I finally found it by myself and had to wait in line as there was only one cashier. There were at least 3 associates on the floor that were just talking . I was next in line when the cashier walked away to help someone. What shoukf have been a 5 minute trip was easily 15-2o minutes. Horrible customer service.

Problems checking out. Wouldve spent extra money as coupon didnt scan and bogo didnt work. Had to ask 3x to get everything fixed. They fixed it all or review would be lower. Shouldnt have to ask that much though....

Even though I have a Ulta store in my area(Brookfield), I always visit this Wauwatosa location for some reasons. Staffs are definitely nicer than Brookfield and more various products in here.

I was there wondering around for about 15 min. Several female employees walked right past me a couple of times but never asked if I needed any help. As far as I could tell I was the only customer in the store. Its a big store so there may have been more but I didnt see any other customers. But I did see several employees doing absolutely nothing but talking to each other. Finally I was approached by an employee and she helped me. That is the only reason why I gave you 2 stars. All this bs women talk about women unite. Most of the time Women are women if you arent dressed and made up like them they ignore you.

Tonight I got the worst service here. I normally dont mind making the 20min drive to this location because the employees are always so helpful and kind. But tonight, I asked an employee to see if they had a darker shade of powder in the back for me. She hands it off to another employee since she was stocking items in the front. This employee never came back to give me any information so I stood there for ten minutes until I decided to just leave. As I stand near the registers, the two women there pretend Im not there while they chat and get trash ready. Im all about being ahead of the game and shutting down but take care of your customers. Especially ones who were already waiting for someone to return and they didnt. Beyond disappointed.

The workers(not all, maybe 3-4) at this Ulta just dont seem as welcoming to minorities compared to workers at other ultas. I was hoping that eventually some of the workers attitudes would change, but its apparent that thats not going to happen. A few workers just act like theyre afraid of me, I dont understand why. I dont come off as threaten, Im actually a very friendly/polite person. I was up there today, no one offered assistance, but they were offering it to everyone around me.Then I get up to the register and the girl at the register acted like she was so afraid to talk, but just a second ago she had a hilarious conversation with the lady in front. It was so funny it took her 10 mins to scan her items. I go to this Ulta when Im in rush and need to pick up a few things, because this is closes to my house. This is probably the last day I ever come to this Ulta.Update: I recently went back and lets justsay this experience was better than the last one.

Poor customer service, didnt even know what i was asking for, even though they had it on the website and at the other store at Bayshore. She just gave me a blank look, said no, and went on helping someone else...
