Huge selection of Indian foods - fresh, frozen, canned, packaged, spices, health and beauty, and some decorative items. I had not been there in some time and they moved to a much larger location across the street from previous store. Parking lot is up a rather narrow ramp in the rear of the building. You need to take an elevator upstairs to the store. Handicap accessibility.

Wide variety of the items and great range of products. The only thing I didnt get here is raju namkeen from Gujarat they are best in taste

Neat place to shop for interesting and unique spices, and other food items. Theres a lot to take in, and the staff was very helpful. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars, is that the produce looked awful. I would recommend for everything else!

My first time being there it was great.

This store is fantastic! Large, clean, well stocked, and full of selection. It was only our first visit but I know Ill already be back. Weve found breads, flours, and lentils Ive never seen before. There are tons of sauces and spices. The fresh vegetables are nice too, offering a taste unlike what youll find in other grocers.

I basically shop there specifically for incense. Excellent variety of selections. Great varieties of ethnic food. Hours of operation- Open daily until 7pm.

Today, was my first time I went to this store for grocery shopping.At the checkout, I inserted my card and waited for a couple of seconds until the transaction got approved and I removed my card. However, due to some technical issues, my receipt did not come out and the lady who was in charge could not see the transaction on her monitor.I said that the transaction was approved, but she asked me to wait until she could figure out what to do. She then asked another lady to help, but the second lady couldn’t solve the problem either!I showed my credit card transaction that indicated the transaction was completed and asked them to let me go because I was in a rush. She said: No! Please wait until another guy comes and helps us. I waited about 5-6 minutes until that guy came and checked the computer. He could not figure out either and said if you received the transaction approval, I let you go!They were rude and took out the failure of their device on me. The customer service is terrible and I will never go back there!

I was interested in buying samosa. I called in asking for price and he said we dont give price over the phone. Weird! Kind of sketchy. Why not? I was looking forward to trying their samosa but if you cant even give me a price its like what kind of operation are you trying to run? Very very odd!

The store was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. They stock a wide variety of products that are hard to find elsewhere- deals, spices, canned &bottled products and fresh items like curry leaves.

Nice clean store. Roomy. Good choice of products. Some spice/paste products have had expiry dates rubbed off - I dont like that. Reduce them and get rid of them. Most products seem fresh. I have always found the staff very friendly and I plan to take some of the classes. Their prices are very fair. Any questions I have are always answered in a friendly manner. Sometimes the staff are a bit preoccupied by ordering or paperwork but they are never rude to me. I recommend this place all the time.

It was kinda hard to find, park, and Actually get into (you have to enter in a back entrance and then take an elevator up a floor). But the selection was really great and it was surprisingly big! After a few minutes of searching the expansive inventory I did find what I was looking for. It was also very quiet, even for a weekday afternoon. I was the only person there besides for 1 cashier. She was polite and nice enough tho

Great place to stock up on rice, snacks, sauces, dinner mixes, and pretty much every bulk herb and spice you can think of! Good atmosphere, too. I always enjoy coming here and walk out with at least two full grocery bags.

Beautiful and well organized new location across from their old location. This place is a gem. I come here to pick up my quick frozen meals, indian nan breads and rice. They have a great selection of spices too (cheap!). Their experience shows in helping me find the spice I couldnt remember the name to.Close to Mayfair mall and freeway too.

I had loved the shop for a several months until I realized frozen food issue. They repackaged some frozen foods. Expired? How long? One of my dream is broken.

Good and clean Indian grocery store. Well lit and organized.Prices are reasonable but not compared to big grocery stores Patel Brothers in Chicago. However they cant compete with big grocery store like Patel Bros considering ecomomies of scale.

Only giving less rating because of out of 41 items, I purchased from store 5 of them where expired food, ended up throwing them in trash, as soon as I opened the packets. otherwise, lots of space in the store and organized. But I advise dont buy the stuff if it has no expired date on it. ( Believe me, it takes double the time to check date while grocery shopping. :-(.

Looks like a big shop but has less variety compared to most other shops in Milwaukee area. Definitely more expensive that other shops. I got deli fresh samosas... you had to buy 2 minimum and it was a dollar a price while most other shops are 20% less. They had only refrigerated samosas (who knows when it was made) there was a microwave to warm it but warmed samosa was soggy oily and way subpar to the fresher once at other local stores....finally I was the only customer there (6:30pm) ..... it makes me question if there is enough movement of inventory for them to offer fresh items. Very disappointed!!

The gentleman at the store was so helpful to me as a first-time visitor. He offered advice and cooking classes which I plan to take. The store is authentic as it comes and immaculately clean. I will recommend this establishment to my friends! Thank you!

One of the best stocked Indian stores that Ive used. The merchandise is always fresh, the store is clean and efficiently run and the owners are courteous and a pleasure to interact with. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Indian groceries.

I shopped here for about more than 2 years here and recently I found, many of their packages have the BEST BEFORE consume date erased. Most of the products are EXPIRED. Please pay attention before you buy if the product has all the dates clear. I feel cheated after i learnt this.

This is the place. I have shopped here for over 20 years. I always make a stop when Im in Milwaukee area. Spacious aisles, fresh produce not found elsewhere and specialty cooking instruments.

Long establish Indian grocery. Weve been going here for 20 years. They have grown and it has been a huge plus. Great selection and good products.

Terrific selection, but the staff had a rather suspicious demeanor.I suspect they might have been mistakenly identified as Muslims and harassed. I have long hair and a big full beard and I dont think it means the same thing in Milwaukee as it does in LA. Just a thought.

Excellent selection of Indian grocery items and Indian spice masalas. Huge selection of frozen meals and breads. They also have a fresh deli area with nice samosas and Indian dessert sweets.I buy Maggie- the awesome Indian ramen noodles all they time from here and they are NOT expired. Also never had problem with their snacks - they carry like 200 different kinds too. Definitely the best selection in Milwaukee.

Of all the Indian stores I have been to this one is my favorite. Lots of options, super clean and large. Sometimes the produce is not the best. Also this place only has vegetarian things.

I went on Sunday. Beautiful store, huge selection and prices were great! I enjoyed talking with the people at the store and was able to find the right sized idli molds!!! I will be back!!

Amazing store with a huge selection of products. I am very impressed with the size compared to their previous, much smaller store. Roaming the aisles can take some time, as they have a little bit of everything. Items are always fresh - especially the spices, which Ive found can be a bit stale when going to other Indian stores in Milwaukee. I have been especially excited about trying new frozen items whenever I go, there is just tons of variety to choose from.p.s. never had any problems with expired products which seems to be an issue at some other stores, and with some other reviewers. If something isnt good, just return it. I didnt like the taste of one of their snacks, I took it back, and they gave me a credit towards something else with no questions asked!

Sometimes would carry expired items i.e. juices. Otherwise have good range of grocery items. Be careful and read the expiry date before buying

All the grocery items are at least $0.50 to $1.50 more than they would cost in Chicago or Minneapolis. Seems like these people buy them from the big guys instead of distributors. The lentils are oily sometimes which is not good actually to cook. But no choice for people like us who do not want to drive 60 miles or more get their groceries.They do have a lot of inventory which is counter-productive in some cases. I got a package of Halirams bujia once and believe me me or not, it had already expired. I got home and realized it was out of time. Rice and flour are ok but again a couple of bucks expensive then other places.Not all of their stuff is entered in the system so most of items the cashier reads the labels.But what can we do. Not very many choices so I will continue to go there.

Indian Groceries & Spices is run by a very racist man. If you are NOT Indian do not shop here. The old man behind the counter is very rude and will not touch your hand when you are trying to hand him money because he sees everyone that is not Indian as dirty. When he gives you your change back, he will slam your change on the counter to avoid touching your hand and to just be rude.The store is very old looking and dirty on the inside. If you will like to have a very displeasing shopping experience here, this is the place to shop. If I could rate is lower I would. The poor-fair rating still seems to be too good for them, their rating should be much lower.

It is okay store for shopping Indian groceries. You will find most of things which is needed in daily needs. Prices are little over for most of the items. You can find almost all things half the price from any indian store in chicago.

Out of all the indian grocery stores near Milwaukee, this is the better one.- its has a odd location so look around, you wont miss it- a little pricy compared to other stores- good selection of everything- no meat- good store layout.- the owners demeanor isnt that great but its okOffer grocery delivery as well.

Both chikki taste off almost moldy, there was no expiration date on the package so who know how old they are. The mawa barfi was advertised as freshly made . My children and I tried one last night and thought they tasted like hard cheese. This morning with adequate lighting, I saw they were covered in mold.
