I was recently driving through Waynesboro on my way to visit my mom in the hospital when my brake line started leaking. I was about 1.5 hours from home and about 1.5 hours from where I was going.Long story short, it was a challenge getting the old line off because it was seized on there. I bought quite a few tools etc. Eventually my brake line was off!The store manager, Chris Benjamin got me a new brake line but only had one end to convert to my master cylinder but not the ABS block. He checked another AutoZone store who had the part. He gave me a ride there and back to get the part so I could get back on the road.Chris and his staff are the epitome of what it means to be helpful. They are professional, compassionate, and will help you with what you need.I couldnt have asked for a better blessing to be sent my way when I was stranded.Stop watching the news, and get out of the house and see that the world is not all bad. There are still great people and fellow Americans in this world who are caring, God fearing, and willing to help their fellow man, and love their neighbor.I would strongly recommend this AutoZone to anyone looking for parts and better yet who are looking for a great staff and awesome manager!

Shane, and especially Richard, at store # 965, were instrumental is helping us solve a pesky check engine light that was on for no reason! The kid that did our check engine light didnt know what the code meant and instead of getting someone a little more familiar with it he decided to google the answer and definitely didnt sound like he knew if he was right when he told me what google said. A little more training for employees on that sort of basic service would be a huge improvement.

I’ve had an ongoing problem with very expensive top of the line Rain X wiper blades not operating properly - streaking, skipping, etc. Chris, the manager, has been exceptionally generous and helpful in replacing two sets of these. This last time, he installed another brand which seen to work perfectly.Thank you, Chris

We are on the way to AZ for a wedding and decided to drive the motorhome thinking it would save us a bit of cash. Well here we are in Waynesboro, VA broke down. We managed to pull her into a parking lot and began the walk to AutoZone for a fuel pump. Unfortunately AutoZone did not have one so they called Advance Auto and Advance did have one. Thanks to Chris ( the manager) for allowing Lucas to drive us to Advance Auto to pick up the new pump and then return us to our motorhome. Thank you AutoZone Waynesboro VA for the great service.

This is not the first time this store has helped me. I went in today with a bumper that was in jeopardy of coming off after an accident with my granddaughters car. I did not wan to go to a body shop. My car is 16 years old so I dont want to put lots of money into it.I went into the store and Chris came out to examine the bumper and knew exactly what I needed. Within 15 minutes he had discovered what I needs and gotten some clips and put them on and sent me on my way.He was extremely nice. From making sure the counter was clean to assuming me I didnt need a mask.As an older lady it is wonderful to know I have someone to turn to. Auto Zone, Waynesboro, is my go to place.

11/28/20I want to express my appreciation to Chris for helping my daughter and her family to begin their journey home to Florida.At 6am this morning their car would not start, by all indications it was a dead battery. We jump started the car, drove to AutoZone in Waynesboro, VA. I walked into the store a few minutes before the scheduled opening, Chris was there, promptly grabbed the Load Tester, tested the battery, found it good, immediately set to work cleaning the Science Experiment at each terminal, 15 minutes later the car was running.It was a great experience having someone like Chris there to resolve the issue promptly.Thank You Chris for all your help!

I recently visited the Waynesboro Autozone because my car was making a terrible noise. Robert came out and listened to my car and told me I needed an alternator. He then replaced my alternator in no time. I am beyond thankful for people like Robert! He is awesome!

Not the local guys fault. 2 dudes trying to do everything. 8 people in line. Need help with a battery, wiper blades, figuring out the right gasket....all in front of me while I waited to purchase the stuff I needed not needing help. Phone just ringing and ringing. So much missed opportunity AZ! Guys in the store handled as well as can be e expected. But you have that labor line under control for the stock holders, dont ya?

Our power steering pump died while we were traveling from Norfolk to Natural Bridge (with 2 young kids) we barely made it to this auto zone. The staff were super nice and helpful and my husband was able to change out our pump in the parking lot. They offered help, let him borrow a few hand tools, we rented other tools. Just all around they were 5 star to us in our time of need. Id definitely recommend this auto zone!

Youre policy not to perform engine testing because of COVID-19 is absurd. Youre more likely to get COVID-19 from the cash money your accepting for payment, than hooking a machine up to my engine which is NOT contagious with COVID-19!!!

The 2 guys working at autozone 2217 were amazing tonight. They had awesome attitudes although one of them had worked more than 8 hours. They were eager to help to replace the belt that broke on our car eventhough they had to stay past closing. Lots of appreciation going out to those two.

I go to this store because it is easier to get in and out than O Reilys which is one block away from there.

They had a good sale today on DEF. I had to buy a few jugs (15), they offered a cart and helped load them up and take out to my vehicle instead of having to carry them all by hand.

Had the attendant check my check engine light.He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Helped me purchase the correct product I needed and it was also on sale.

My first choice when needing auto parts. It is much better now that Chris is the manager. The only thing that makes no sense is they have turned the computer monitors to the customer side of the counter making it more crowded and uncomfortable.

Im on a Summer long roadtrip and its August- my AC quit working and everything your car does seems sketchy when it feels like a furnace- another mechanic in Cville had skirted the ac issue and avoided doing much at all...Paul took out some sensors, checked my car, loaded it up with the ac coolant it needed and hung out to make sure it worked. What a friggin Saint. Just the best.
