Jim and Justin were friendly and fast! We were on a trip to a wedding. They worked on it right away even though they had other cars. They said they take good care of out of town folks because it must be hard to be out of town and broke down. They seem to take a lot of pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

Wonderful shop Took my truck in for ruptured brake line and they completed it in few hours and told me its ready to be picked up. I was thrilled. Very knowledgeable crew, the Owner, Jim is a very nice guy and communicates with me letting me know need to replace certain parts soon. So will schedule a drop off for these recommended repairs.I will use this shop again for sure. Looking forward to have them take good care of my truck and keep it running longer.

My boyfriend and I were traveling to Virginia from Pennsylvania for 4th of July weekend and on Friday night our car had an issue with the ball joint leaving the car un drivable. Everyone we spoke to from AAA to the tow truck driver, to our hotel front desk told us it would be impossible to find a place to get the car fixed on a Saturday, short notice on the holiday weekend and that we would have to stay in Virginia until Monday which wasn’t an option because of our work schedules. We called Ladd auto at 9am on Saturday morning and they picked up right away, got the parts, and we headed over. We didn’t get there until 1030 and they closed at noon and worked on our car until 130 and were so nice to us. They did a great job, were reasonably priced and we actually got to finish our road trip. They saved us and we had a great experience. Thank you!!!

GREAT PEOPLE! I broke down right off the exit, 2 miles from Waynesboro, VA. I towed into town.. eventually had to be towed again and this is where I met this first mechanic from Ladd Auto. He towed my Dodge Challenger to the garage and assessed the situation, the alternator was shot. He drove me over to the local auto part store and got me a discount on the Alternator needed. He drove me back to his shop, where the other mechanics already had my old alternator off the car. They replaced my alternator and had me back on the road to Chattanooga, TN within a couple hours. Mike and his staff are honest, knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. They continually break every negative stereotype of an auto repair shop. The only problem I ever have is finding a place to park and a time to be seen because they are always busy (and rightly so!) - but their kindness and honesty are worth the wait and the crowded parking :) They are AMAZING!

This shop is seriously amazing. Went in for an inspection on a Saturday, one of the busiest days, and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Honest people and amazing service!!

I have always got good results Jim and his guys and his shop. Still take my vehicle there all the time just bought brand new set of 4 tires Cooper a TV threes. Last set of the same Tire got $67,000 out of them.

We were on our way from Radford VA to Charlottesville VA in a rented Penske truck to help move our son and daughter-in-law. We were just short of the exit and the truck had bells and whistles going off. We pulled in on a Sunday morning and Jason happened to be there. He repaired our truck so that we may continue on our travels. We are soso grateful for his quick response and help. He was very kind and helpful. I am so frustrated with Ladd auto. I took my van to them about a month ago because we found out it had a bent axle and needed an estimate to have it replaced so we could send it to our insurance company. We took the van to him and he said he would send the estimate. I have been calling and calling and he keeps giving me the run around saying he has it and will send it. I cant seem to get this estimate from him no matter what and my insurance company is getting mad at me. I have been wanting to take it somewhere else but our starter is going bad now so its hard to even get the thing started up. How hard is it to give someone an estimate?? Most normal places will give it to you right on the spot. This is my first and last experience with Ladd Auto. I would not suggest coming here unless you want to be treated like nothing but a number that can be put off for more important issues.
