I am a first time customer of leading edge and first time owner of an air-cooled 911. I dont have much experience with older cars, especially air-cooled 911s, so I wanted to find the right shop to work with. Mark was recommended by a friend for service and upgrades and I cant tell you how satisfied I am with the work that was done. Over the past 1.5 years Mark has helped me diagnose and replace critical components, upgrade the suspension, and drastically improve the driving experience and performance of my car. Mark and his team were timely, transparent, and of highest quality. He took a consultative approach to help me understand all the work that was needed on the car, guided me on planning it out, and helped me stay under budget which I appreciated greatly. His insights were invaluable and I highly recommend this shop.

I first took my 2015 Audi S4 to Leading Edge to address an ongoing misfire issue that the Audi dealer service shop was unable to diagnose. Mark spent the time to successfully diagnose and fix the problem (a bad fuel injector) and charged a very fair price considering the time spent on the diagnostic portion. More recently I took the same car to have the engine mounts replaced and once again the price was very fair, the work was done within the estimated time frame, and I have confidence in my dealings with Mark that the job was done right. Mark also takes the time to discuss the issues found in detail if one is so inclined to ask. Im not looking forward to the next thing that breaks on this car, but I know that when it happens it will be in good hands.

I recently had a complete engine overhaul service at Leading Edge Autosport for my 2005 Acura NSX. Outstanding, thorough service from an incredibly professional, experienced team. You’ll see exotics, customs, classics, and at first you may think that’s all they do - but it’s not. They brought my new-to-me 2003 Miata with 112k miles up to date on all recommended services, and they treated me just as well as I’d imagine they treat the owners of all those expensive cars. The owner, Mark, is a really great car guy, very generous with his time and passionate about discussing the cars and his experiences. It’s the only place I’ll take my cars now.

These guys are the best If you have a Euro car and it needs serviced this is the place to do it. I went to get my transmission serviced and get this annoying suspension squeak out of my Audi.Turns out the other shop I went to months ago installed the wrong End link to create a squeak, Leading edge had the right parts and installed it and did the transmission service in great timing. They’ll even follow up and see how’s the car doing. When you drive in and see the Ferraris and Porches don’t let that make you nervous into servicing your car here thinking it’ll be beyond expensive the pricing is quite reasonable and you get the added bonus of top notch customer service!

Leading Edge Motor Sports was one of the best shops I have been to and does all sorts of cars and most importantly the older types as well which require great care and knowledge. Leading Edge provided great customer service, quality work, and timely turn around given the job at and. The owner Mark was very friendly and helpful thoughout the entire process providing updates and making sure the job was done the right way and giving my car back in better condition then when I dropped it off. Their shop is top notch and in extreamly clean and professional condition not to mention secure so you can rest assured your car is being well taken care of and protected when in their hands. I had a Southbend Stage 2 Dailey clutch installed in my MK7 GTI. Mark did an excellent job from start to finish. Mark was quick to call me after my initial inquirey and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. He even talked me out of more expensive and unnecessary part upgrades. When I dropped my car off, Mark made me with my VW feel like I was his most important customer despite having a shop (which is meticulous) full of Ferraris, Porches and Audis. To top it all off, the final bill was LOWER than the initial estimate which was reasonable to begin with. It is very difficult to find a skilled and knowledgable mechanic who you can trust. Mark and the folks at Leading Edge Autosport fit that bill.

Ive had various cars into Mark and the team, including an R8 and TTRS. There are very few people I entrust these cars to but Leading Edge is one of them. My last encounter was for a full carbon cleaning of the intake valves in the RS. After 80K, they needed it and the walnut blasting Mark did, did not disappoint! I found my way to Mark Ranieri at Leading Edge through a referral from UDrive in West Chester. I had contacted UDrive after the purchase of a 2007 911 Turbo explaining there was a failure with the electronics tied to my Bilstein suspension. The mechanic I brought it to previously gave me the car back with the failure light still on stating you should just put the stock suspension back on. To me, this was not an acceptable answer. When I brought it out to Mark, he spent an extensive amount of time performing a very thorough diagnostic. Identified the problem, contacted the Manufacturer who then warrantied the failed item and replaced it. It is clear, Mark just gets it, he is passionate about what he does and is driven to do the best he can for his customers. That was my first experience, I have been back numerous times for scheduled visits, performance upgrades and addressing quirky items. I am sold on Mark and my experience with Leading Edge, I would refer him to anyone who wants high quality work at a fair price backed by someone who clearly loves what he does.
