Meineke Car Care Center of West Chester damaged my VMS Racing extended stud tuner lug nut two piece caps. At first they said it was done because someone tightened them too much. When I explained that the caps were not to be removed they changed their story to be that they were already damaged before they started.

Frequently use this location for regular oil changes. I was short on time and had a jam packed weekend so it would have been difficult to get my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Spoke with Tony over the phone and he was very honest about how busy they were and when the vehicle would be ready. He followed up with me and got me in and out even quicker than expected. Definitely recommend this location!

An update on 10/26It’s been several weeks now and neither the store owner nor Meineke central customer service has reached out to resolve issues————————-Mr. Tony(The Manager) misguided me by providing inaccurate information from the very beginning and made me feel I was getting more value and better quality Oil Filter by paying extra, which wasn’t true. I felt cheated at the end. He told that is how it works in his store and I can choose Not not come again!!! I can’t believe if this is the customer satisfaction Meineke talks about!!I had an oil change coupon which included oil filter in its price. Tony said in the beginning while providing estimate he was adding a higher quality filter than the standard filter and that I had to pay extra over the coupon value and its better for my car. I agreed to his suggestion, but found out later from the service team that they had used a standard oil filter and they don’t have any such thing as better filter and they only carry standard filters from a generic manufacturer called ‘Mighty’ with which they have an agreement. I also asked if I could pay extra for a filter like K&N or so.. but the customer rep and Tony clearly told they only & only carry one standard filter.So, my question was - where was the better oil filter for which I was told in the beginning? Tony got offended that I agreed to pay initially and now questioning!!The argument went over in all directions where they even started saying I am questioning to pay a few bucks extra when I own an expensive car!!! (How does it matter!? I was ready to pay extra for a better filter) Tony finally said I just need to pay for what I agreed and this is how his store works!!I was left perplexed.. It wasn’t about the money— it was the way I was misguided that I would get better value!!This isn’t how a business should make money!!

We have taken our vehicle to the West Chester Meineke countless times and just towed the broken down car from South Philly after it had been towed from the West Chester area as Meineke has done great by us every time. They are super knowledgeable about all vehicle repairs, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, deliver on all promises, provide detailed explanations and quotes for services provided and will work with you on continued business.Bottom line is they are trustworthy, provide quality workmanship and service at a fair reasonable price! You can’t get any better than that! As such I told them going forward I was going to bring my two vehicles to them for service from the Reading area.

So I was told this would be a great place to go, I just drove up from Nebraska and was having steering wheel problems on the Highways,They did a great job with inspecting my Town and Country 2012 and sending me a list per text what they said was all wrong with it, but i only wanted front Disc and new brake pads the price for the front wheels was over $600.00 and I said no I will pick up my car in 20 min, Im sorry that they where not happy, so I got the part and started to do it my self as I realized!! the wheel nuts where lose!!! and the i checked my Air filter to fine out it was mashed in and ripped. so that why only 1 Star oh the part Brand new where only $190.00 and 2 hours of work. So check your wheel nut !!!!

Been using them for years. Always take my car here for inspection. As a woman it can be hard to find a mechanic where you feel like you’re not being taken for a ride, but I never feel that way here. They’re always very clear on what I actually NEED and I appreciate that. Great customer service.

This place is great- they caught an issue that no other mechanic had caught (and if it got worse, I could’ve been in a serious accident!). They are thorough in their reporting, take pictures, and walk you through the options. I really appreciate their help and patience, and the work serviced is superb. My 15 year old Camry drives better than ever! I’ll definitely be a return customer.

I would not recommend using meineke unless you want your car interior destroyed. I brought my car in for a car inspection, after picking up my car and returning home I noticed that the drivers, passengers, and middle console were completely dirty. It looks like grease was smudged on my FABRIC seats. I called them asking for a cleaning, which they said they “had some cleaning supplies at the shop”. When I emailed them pictures of the seats and asking for a professional clean, I never got a response. I will not be bringing my car back to meineke and would not recommend this place if you’re looking for professionalism.

Quick, reliable, friendly, these guys check all the right boxes. Came in with a flex pipe cracked in a few places, they were able to cut and weld fixes rather than replace the whole pipe (carb and dampener included), saving me a few hundred bucks. I have used this Meineke for different services on several vehicles for just under 10 years. Always professional. Always stand behind their work. Always fair with pricing. I wish I lived closer to it now so I could use them exclusively.

I got 4 new all season tires. The service manager was trying to be very helpful. I was a little disturbed though when the price increase by about $300 in one month but I needed them and snow was expected soon. I needed air in my tires time I drove off the lot though, this was also a bit disappointing, but he was nice enough to lend me a van to get back to work and was willing to go out of his way to help me get my registration since I lost it and needed an inspection sticker. I’m going to do some homework though.

From the moment I arrived; Tony and Pete were professional and efficient. They were very clear with their explanations of needed to be done and the timeline in which it would be complete. I will definitely return,. As a matter of fact I moved an appointment from a competitor to them based on my experience there.

Advisor yelled at me for all the miles on my car and tried to tell me my new engine was used. No one wore a mask and it is an enclosed space. The advisor, Tony, kept calling me pet names like honey and darling which is very inappropriate considering I dont even know him. Continued to yell at me for everything wrong with my car as if I purposely made my car have problems. An oil change was supposed to be on 20$ but I ended up spending 62$

I felt totally played and taken advantage of at this place. I was told my oil change, tire pressure check, and tire rotation would be 30-40 minutes. After an hour I went to the desk and they walked me through a list of 3 things that needed attention on my car and 11 things that they considered maintenance even though they werent broken or in need of maintenance that totaled $2,000. I wanted to trust that they had my best interest, but I do know they saw a girl alone who they could sell to. I agreed to fix one coolant hose that was leaking and to flush the cooling system. After being there for 2 and a half hours past the estimated time, they told me they were pulling the car around and I waited for another 15-20 minutes (without any word from the garage). In addition to maybe being told things needed to be fixed that werent broken, my time was not respected. I left 2 hours late for my plans and with a tire pressure light still on.

Very accommodating. I took my truck in for a safety and emissions test for the first time at Meineke. I didn’t feel robbed because this was the first time that I didn’t require something that needed to be done for safety. My truck passed. They said my breaks were fine but keep an eye on them because they will need replacing later. They also said my belt should be replaced snd the break fluid flushed, but, I could get these done later at my convenience when needed. I didn’t feel like the mechanic was pressured into pressuring work done for their numbers. Wow! I will be getting my break fluid flushed and belt replaced in January sometime at this location. This Meineke location is now my favorite place for my truck. Great job.

This place is amazing. One thing I learned about being in the waiting room was how honest the employees are. How they explain everything to their customers who may not have a lot of knowledge about cars and what sound means what repair. But for my personal experience they did an amazing job putting on my flowmaster catback exhaust.

After having poor experiences at other car repair locations, I can truly say that everyone here at this Meineke is wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful. The employees have frequently answered questions for me in a simple, straightforward manner to make sure I understood correctly. On multiple occasions, they didnt charge me for quick looks and repairs.The entire team felt like people I could trust, but I have to specifically give thanks to Pete who was always incredibly kind and delightful to chat with. Theres only one thing I miss about living in West Chester and thats not being able to go to this Meineke!

They simply took the best professional care of myself and my car that Ive come to expect from Meineke. Started coming here about a year ago bc of the great reviews and they did not disappoint. These guys are always professional, transparent about any issues and provide options. Brought my car in for inspection/oil change and ended up needing 2 new front tires to pass. I had to leave in 90 minutes and they didn’t have the tires I needed in stock so they called in the order but the tires wouldn’t have been delivered before I had to leave. Instead of telling me to come back again the next day the Manager got in his car and went and picked them up for me so I could make my meeting on time and wouldn’t have to come back. Above and beyond!

I’ve used this meineke location since they opened and they have earned my trust time and again. I moved out of the area and still drive 30-40 minutes just to have them care for my car. Graham, Jon and Pete in particular have been really wonderful. They have cared for 3 vehicles for me and they clearly take pride in their work. I tend to travel for work over the summer and sometimes drive 1600 miles for those trips. I always bring in my car for an oil change and a “checkup” before I go and the guys go out of their way to make sure my car is road-trip sound. The prices are reasonable and they do not pressure you to do unnecessary services or to do them sooner than you need to. I love that I can ask them questions and get thoughtful well-explained answers (without any tone of condescension like I’ve gotten from other places) which balance my priorities with their recommendations. I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone and everyone.

Highly not recommended place. Your parts will be missing after you get your car back. Went for state emissions and inspection check,later that night I found my High beam LED light missing.It was replaced by ordinary Filament bulb.

Staff is very nice, Pete has been super helpful. Always gives quotes prior to any work being done, and prices feel more reasonable than most places in the area. Theres 4 or 5 shops located on west chester pike, and this is in my opinion the best one.

I did state inspection at another place and they charged me over $1500 to pass. So I decided to do all repairs here at Meineke and saved me for about $500. They even did the inspection and put on the sticker for free just because I did lots of repairs with them. Communication is good, staff are friendly, and services are great!

Pete was very rude, I made a mistake and came on the wrong day and he stated to his co worker if front of me after the nice gentleman stated he would just do it today Pete says “no the appointment is tomorrow” instead of having good customer service and just help me out . The service was done thanks to the nice man that decided to help me . Being a health care worker it was nice after this entire pandemic to finally come across a nice person . Pete should work on being kinder to customers and showing more compassion .

Thursday started off with a cracked exhaust manifold, dropped my truck off that night. Friday morning received a confirmation call, the part was ordered and installed in a day.

I Have used meineke for the past three years and each time whether it be for an inspection, oil change, or accident related the guys at meineke have always been incredible. Taking time to listen and answer questions, explain everything thoroughly (even showing you pictures of what needs to be replaced), and being honest. As someone who doesn’t understand cars and engines it is easy to be taken advantage of at times from other mechanics and I never have once felt that at Meineke. Many years ago I had a bad experience that really turned me off so never went back until I saw it was under new owner/management. I gave them another shot and they really impressed me and Ive been a loyal customer for 5+ years now. John, Pete and Graham are all great guys and will never be anything but honest with you. Super nice dudes working there. They squeezed in my last minute oil change and it didn’t feel like they were trying to nickel and dime me, but let me know about little stuff they found. I had called around a few places (one of which was pep boys who quoted me +$80 for a job these guys did for $25) Definitely will return.

This location has bailed me out more than once over the past few years. Newly renovated waiting room is upscale and has a work area and large televisions. The service advisor is competent and honest. He wont push you to fix what doesnt need fixing.

So to begin, I needed a last minute inspection. I live out of state but needed a PA inspection before the end of the month. Why did I wait so long? The world may never know. Anyways, they allowed me to make an appointment late in the afternoon, AND let me pick up after hours. In addition, John was amazing. They close at 6, and at 5:50, he asked if I could come back tomorrow to have something repaired. I explained to him that I dont live in the area, and he kindly said, no worries, Ill stay late to fix it up for you. Dont want you driving back home and getting a flat tire!. Incredibly sweet, and incredibly diligent. Will for sure go back!

Pete is BACK!! I’ve been going to this Meineke religiously for over two years and have never had a problem. My p.o.s PT cruiser was handed down from my siblings and the guys here always helped me at service time make sure I kept it up and running without fixing unnecessary stuff and spending a lot of money. When I decided to finally get a new car I felt more than comfortable taking it here and when something needs to be done they walk me through what things mean and what’s important. My favorite, Pete, left for a little bit he’s back!! He gives incredible customer service, explains things well, and they are so fortunate to have him back on the team.
