Went with my Son so he could buy ear protection for work. Every person that works there is extremely helpful and polite not SOMETHING you dont find much anymore. My Son was very happy with his purchase. He loves this store.

I rarely write to a company about my experiences in a store, unless I had a horrible time. HOWEVER, in this instance I am writing in to let you know just how amazing my last trip to Brandywine Ace Pet and Farm was. I had a few odd requests for some DIY home fixes that required an opinion and some innovation by a staff representative. I was lucky enough to find Ryan, who was exceptionally patient while I tried to explain what I needed/had planned for these fixes. He took me around the store with no hesitation and we put together some pretty innovative tricks with his suggestions (and many different options he gave me). He was extremely patient with some of my indecision with products as well as my sub-par explanations of what I had in mind. I needed to write in and give a huge shout out for this specific employee, Ryan. While I have ALWAYS had a great experience every single time I have been in that store, this visit was above and beyond. I just wanted to point out how great this experience was and just how helpful Ryan was.

Ace rates a 15 out of 10 in my view. EXCEPTIONAL. My favorite store on the planet - over Nordstrom! Had bluebirds in my yard the last few days when both my boxes were already inhabited by other birds, went to Ace this AM, they connected the bluebird box to the pole for me and made a Special Delivery on my behalf of the rebar (sp?) needed to secure the pole in the ground. Mama Bluebird is building her nest as I write this - so HAPPY - bluebirds of happiness is a very REAL thing, especially after COVID!! Highly recommend Ace for their level of service and their bluebird boxes.

Came across this location when on an afternoon jaunt and decided to stop. They had just the items I kept forgetting to pick up. Now I can fix that shelf in my kitchen and neaten up all those cables at work! Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff!

Any time I can I go to Brandywine instead of big box stores. Their staff are super helpful even when they dont have what I need they point me in the right direction. I needed a part to rebuild a 1920s toilet that all the pros told me they couldnt do and couldnt get the parts for. They directed me to a specific plumbing store for the piece, and sent me home with different size O Rings because This is probably the right one but, dealing with 1920s plumbing you never know. Just return which ever isnt right even if its open. Ive come up with really out of the box solutions visiting the store. Their service really cannot be beat.

Can not say enough about the spectacular customer service that Ace Hardware provides. They go above and beyond to make their customers happy and stand behind their products. We bought a big ticket item that we continued to have problems with. Ace replaced the item with a different brand. The staff is wonderful providing personalized customer service. The experience of walking around the store gives you the feeling of home. Wonderful experience...wonderful customer service.

The Best hardware store around. Great place to bring the kids they have miniature shopping carts for the kids. Trains in the parking lot! They carry all the best brands i own a traeger they have everything traeger. I run Stihl saws and they are fully stocked when i was in there recently. I was surprised and thrilled to find the exact packet of carrot seeds i needed from Rohrer Seeds here that saved me a long trip.

The best way I can describe this store a town and country general store. I went there to buy rock salt. I figured since the store is out of the way theyd have it and they did.It looks like a converted barn with big front doors. It must be brutal for the cashiers who are just to the left of the doors.The place is small and stuffed with everything you could possibly imagine.

Went here to get window screens replaced. Previously it was $22 a screen for the size we were trying to replace. We assumed that, six months later, the pricing would be the same. Got the bill and it was $35 a screen. We came to find out that they are now outsourcing the labor and that the company who is doing the work will not provide a quote for their services. They can charge 0-$35, seemingly on a whim. Not only did we get massively overcharged ($13 dollar increase!!!) But they only gave us back 4 of the 7 screens we sent in.

Its so crazy the range of things you can get here! Pets stuff from dog to bird, outdoor accessories and Christmas lights in the winter, paints for furniture and walls, gifts, light bulbs, boots, you need it? they have it! staff is so friendly and feels like family, such a wonderful atmosphere.Its a must shop store for home owners, and pet owners!

What a great place!!! I bought the Ooni pizza oven and a couple of accessories From the time that I ordered the oven until I walked out of the door with it, everyone was incredibly friendly, Brandywine Ace was a throwback in time more of a general store than an Ace hardware. The trip was almost 50 miles from my house and worth every mile.

Nice store and staff. Interesting store...both hardware and pet supplies. I saw a customer buying a 25 pound salt lick and another buying paint. Also, store has three cabooses on-site.

Clean establishment and friendly helpful staff. Also a little bit of sight seeing with old trains and the Brandywine river. Large parking lot and easy access to RT926 Street Road.

A class act!Although the store was crowded, the customer and staff vibe was very positive; everyone was friendly and excited to be there. It reminded me of an old fashioned operation where the merchant gives back to the community through an open house event like this. It validated the importance of shopping small to ensure these local shops that employ our neighbors and have experienced and knowledgeable staff remain in business to help local residents and support the community.If in the area, visit the store. After coming to this store for many years, today was the last visit. Rude salespeople, inconsiderate and self absorbed.As a follow up, I received a note of apology from the young girl who checked me out along with a gift certificate. She also followed up right away with a phone call. She was not the problem at all. She couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. The person with whomI had issue was in the middle of the store. I had no idea where to take my propane tanks so I sat them on the floor and waited for him to finish his conversation. I could tell he was on with a customer and that it was not a simple conversation. After I waited several minutes and another customer approached me, this gentleman yelled and said“ I’m on a call” as if that wasn’t apparent. I never asked him to hang up and the entire store was busy so I was going to have to wait for someone, which was fine. It was his comment and his attitude at which I was appalled. I hope the store corrects his attention to customers. However, boy was Lindsey an amazing customer associate. Because of her, I will definitely go back. I wish all their salespeople were like her! When was the last time anyone received an apology card from a big store?

I needed an oil cap for my 25 year old STIHL 026 chainsaw, and was assisted by John who went out of his way to help me locate the part. Unfortunately he couldnt locate the part after a thorough search. However he actually continued looking after I left the store, and ran into the parking lot to advise me he found the part! This is uncommon (and very much appreciated) service!!! I will go out of my way to return to this store in the future.

There is not a single other hardware store will you will get help that is as useful. Every time I have ever walked in here, I was greeted at the door immediately and asked if there was anything I needed. Whenever I was looking for something, the staff always took me directly to what I needed and were always happy to help. Absolutely love this place, as well as Oxford feed and lumber.

There are experts in every area: Deb in Lawn & Garden, Jan in Paint, Ed with farm supplies and grills, Alex in hardware & grills, and Lauren in the pet food and supplies. The Cashiers are professional, friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to help: Dolores, Susan, Mary Ellen - they have been there long enough to know you by name when you come in. Joey, doing delivery, is amazing at his job and Lou in the Warehouse is irreplaceable. BAPF is an example of the difference of shopping at a small business. They are a shining star in this area. Go there with time to look around at all the goodies they offer. You will be impressed with the variety of merchandise they have. And if you have any questions, just ask and they will go out of their way to help you. A true treasure in Pocopson.

This Ace is amazing for little kids, they always have something going on for kids on the weekends. They have pictures with Santa, ofcourse bring you pets. They have puppy classes and also some weekends you can get you dogs nails trimmed. They have mostly everything the big box stores have to offer but the prices are a little higher then the big box stores. Lots of bones, leashes,food and treats for dogs. The staff is usually nice with a couple of grumps every once in a while. But its close and they usually have what I need when I am in a bind. Great place!

Staff are Friendly and helpful. Its a small place that packs a lot. You can get custom paint, made to order. Screws, nuts, locks, lawn mowers, chairs, mulch and lots more. I could list for hours.Has parking, wheelchair access however the shop would be tight in places.

I always go to Brandywine Ace and am never disappointed. Customer service is second to none, the selection is great and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. I recently bought a Traeger smoker and they assembled it, delivered it and made sure I was satisfied with it.

Amazing. amazing. amazing. I cannot recommend this store enough. Need to find something or have a question? Theyll have it or answer it! They dont normally carry it? Theyll order it! They dont know the answer? Balderdash! The staff is not only beyond friendly, but knowledgeable and helpful. If I need something tool, hardware, or supply related I go here whenever possible. My only complaint is they are a little too far from me.

I have been shopping here for years. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Leashed pets are welcome. They have great events for adults and kids like Blue Bird Talks and Make a Terrarium. Theres hardware, paint, feed, gardening supplies and gifts. I love this store.

3 years ago: Equipment repair service sucks. They lost my chainsaw chains for 6 weeks until they found them again. My blower was there 2 weeks, getting a new spark plug and still did nit work. Returned it and they need another couple days. They dont call when ready. When you call, they dont know the status. Avoid if you can.Update April 2014: since ownership changed also the service became much much better. Today I would give them 5 stars. Pet food is great and people are very friendly and helpful.

Before I moved to Lititz Pennsylvania this was my home Little hardware store. One of the greatest things about this hardware store and said they get chicks in little baby chickens every year at spring time. The help here is so fantastic and personal. The parking lot is small but you cant help miss it when you see the collection of actual train cabooses outside.

Great place! Customer service blows the big box stores away . Today though was an exceptionally good . I made a bone head mistake on my trimmer and walked in an hour before closing, expecting to just drop it off and see a week later. Chase told me to hang tight and he would try to fix it right now . Twenty minutes later he walks out with it fixed and even went over with me my mistake . Thank you again, you guys are the best.
