West Chicago auto mall has a decent selection of used cars in pretty good condition. Their pricing was a lot better than most places I checked and I was looking for a car for quite some time. George was awesome and helped me finance my first vehicle for an affordable monthly price. He answered all my questions, and was very personable. Great experience buying a replacement car here! George was extremely helpful, enthusiastic, and honest, and steered me to the car that fit my needs and budget without trying to over-sell me or anything like that. He was also very transparent about the fees (ex. state registration) that go along with the sticker price.I also want to say that during my test drive George and I saw a tire pressure light go off. George promised they would take care of this and true to his promise both George and the manager Sebastian made sure I had good quality tires even after my purchase was complete. As an attorney, I can say through experience that unfortunately there are a lot of dealers out there that are less than scrupulous but West Chicago Auto Mall is one of the good ones!

Buyer Beware!!! Be very careful buying cars from this location. I would highly suggest that you take a lawyer with you to look over paperwork. They quote you one price (Evelyn) however they change the price of the cars when you go to sign the documents. I had a pre approval from Capital One and according to my paperwork from Capital One I was to put down a $1000 only for them (Primo) to add an additional $1300 to that total. I put down $2300 total only to call Capital One later to find out that what my paperwork stated is the only amount I should have had to put down. SCAMMERS!!!

Amy was really good. Asked for them to check glove box that was loose. They did not. The front passenger seat is loose and rattles when driving with no one in it 0luss passenger says it moves on them. While driving on interstate noise comes from passenger side. Just feel like a lot of the problems were not made available to me. Now where do I go to get problems fixed

I purchased a car with them in December. I started noticing some paint defects in February since then I been calling and asking for the manager and he’s never there i been leaving him voice mails about it and no call back. When i purchased the car it’s was nice and shiny but with the days it seemed like if the waxed they used to detail the car was left just there. The paint defect weren’t noticeable because they detail the car for the costumer to not notice. So make sure when u purchase a car from here you take a really really good look at it. I live an two hours away from this place so it’s not like i can just show up. That’s Why i been calling them and I just get a voicemail

A great place to buy a car. I admit, I was skeptical, but their prices are hard to beat. Thomas was very helpful in showing us as many cars as we wanted and quick to address our questions and find answers. Only complaint: almost $800 as lot fee. Good grief. Come on Sebastian! Tell us up front that the fees will be substantial. But overall, would definitely recommend buying a car there. Competitive pricing, helpful and thorough process.

I recommend not buying any vehicle from this dealer. They commonly lie about the price and add additional fees that were never meant to be there. From personal experience they promised to fix the car through the form of a letter after purchasing a car. I showed up a couple days later for them to fix the car and they refused to. I don’t know if the owner of this dealer are aware of how the employees treat their customers. This atmosphere created by the employees makes customers not want to return here.

By far the best experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. The whole process is incredibly overwhelming for me, and I have always dreaded going to any dealership. I worked with Amy and explained to her exactly what I needed. She was understanding and respectful. She never pressured me into a deal I was not comfortable with, and I am just so happy with this whole experience. The cars we looked at, seemed to be priced well. But the manager was very arrogant. When I requested him if he could lower the price.. he responded every time I asked him for a lower price, it would go up $100. Thought he was kidding. He raised the price by $200 within a couple of mins. He guaranteed he could sell the car at a higher price by next week. Very poor customer service.

Everyone here was courteous and up front about everything, specially Amy, she was excellent! Go see them for a good used car deal, they have good selection despite the market.

Drove 30+ minutes to look at a car, only for it to not live up to the hype. Bad call experience with making sure the car was still there that day as we were on our way driving from quite a distance, put us on hold for about 10-15 min and never called back. Called again and they hung up, as if intentionally stalling us to make us come since they knew we were on our way. Car was clearly damaged in front and temporarily fixed (mom had same issue with a dealer hiding that, so we knew right away). Drove it around for a short time with the guy who rode with us, was very pushy about it being such a good deal and good car. Checked the hood after and the dip stick / oil was smoking profusely and scolding hot. Tires were in bad shape as well. He tried to emotionally manipulate saying the cars are fine and checked by their mechanics, so theyd never put a young lady in a dangerous car! After that, we wanted to drive through the lot and look at other cars they had, when a worker yelled to flag us down and said that we couldnt look at them!! Left immediately after that!

I was interested in a vehicle they had on the lot. I asked to see a carfax report but Sebastian didnt want to spend $40 to download the Carfax. He said he would if I would test drive the car. I wanted to see the the report before I test drove it and he wouldnt show it to me. Very poor customer service and very unprofessional. Obviously they were hiding something about the car. I would not waste your time with this dealership.

Couldn’t have had a better experience! I know what car I was interested in before we came and Evelyn had it up front ready when we got there. Evelyn was very knowledgeable about the car and anything she wasn’t 100% sure about figured out the answer for us. The entire staff was very helpful. The car purchased was priced lower than anywhere else within 75 miles of my location. As a former car salesmen I know that the finance part of purchasing a car is the worst part and that was seamless. From the time we decided on the price and payments the finance person was with us and out of the dealership within 45 minutes! Evelyn even offered to personally was the car for us since the porter department was so busy. Was a very bad decision to buy a car at this place. I bought a ford sedan and I havent been able to use the car at all. Its been on the shop since I bought it ( I was lucky it was under ford warranty) the engine was damage, the transmission was damaged. They knew it however they hide it ( Im a former ford engineer so I know how they did it) . Also the price that they show its not accurate. They added 2,800 USD above the shown price (because of parking and some other taxes and company expenses). I did research on all their inventory, most of the cars have been in auctions, which means they were sold because of issues. I wouldnt recommend buying here. My case required a law suit against the dealership but I didnt go for it since I still had my car warranty.

This place is phenomenal. Their inventory is unmatched with stock and prices. Ask for a young man named Jonathan. He makes you feel right at home the whole way through. After the experience I had their, driving out with my 16year olds daughter first car (2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross) Was scratching my head why I never came to a 5 star used car lot.... One of a kind.

I just want to say that Johnathan did a great job of taking care of me. I wont to buy my daughter a car and Im not the most patient person in the world. He was very helpful, transparent, and efficient with my time. Id buy from him again. I did think the dealer fees were a bit high but the price was fair.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of how horrible my initial experience was with Tomas. When looking at the car I was interested in, my boyfriend and I were asking reasonable questions, and Tomas seemed annoyed by our questions. He followed up the questions by asking my boyfriend if he was a mechanic very rudely and told him he can fix the problems himself. When we continued to try to get more information about the cars history, he got upset and aggressively asked me how I intend to pay for the car before I have even decided if I want the car. I’m 7 months pregnant and I was completely disgusted by the way he acted towards my boyfriend and I. Thankfully minutes after the incident, salesman George came in and saved the day. Right away, he was so helpful and understanding and took care of us to the best of his ability. All of our questions were answered and he assured us all our concerns would be addressed and taken care of and he gave us such a pleasant experience . He is so personable and makes the time we spent there enjoyable with his humor and countless amount of stories. He is a phenomenal salesman and people person and really changed our whole experience and helped with my purchase of my vehicle. Everyone one else at the dealership we encountered were all so amazing and helpful. The owner came back to make sure we got as much as we could for my trade in and the finance guy was so nice and informative. I definitely would recommend this dealership to family and friends and my only advice would be NOT TO GO TO TOMAS. This dealership would’ve gotten 5 stars if it wasn’t for Tomas. ****UPDATE**** I got a call yesterday regarding this and they overnighted a check to me to correct the issue mentioned below. She was very kind and apologetic and I very much appreciated her quick resolution to the issue. Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars.After spending 6 hours to drive there one way, being forced to listen to wait for hours we finally got the purchase completed. Then come to find out they dont know how to handle the Missouri state inspection and we requested they just send us the tax information and a check to us to cover the taxes after the car got inspected. Well they sent us paperwork (beyond 30 days) and the checks were written to the state. Not the biggest deal but the problem is they were for incorrect amounts. So now I have covered my taxes on our original loan account and again to the state and they wont return my husbands call to get the check written to us. Over $900 that I am struggling to get back. Guess court will be my next option? Love my car but hate dealing with these people.

I wish I could give 0 STARS.I encourage anyone that is interested in financing with this dealership to bring their own approval with them.On Saturday (6/26/21), Sebastian lied to me and told me that I wasnt approved for financing for the car that I wanted and that I needed an employee verification. Today, I checked with Capital One Auto Finance and they verified that I had been approved. When I addressed Sebastian about it, he expressed that they would not pay him and he continued to run my credit until I told him to stop. They kept me waiting at the dealership for 6 HOURS. Their business seems like a scheme that you should be wary of. Very unethical and ill managed.

Im giving you one Star. You have a very nice facility with friendly staff. I was there today with my full intention of buying a vehicle from you. The price was $10999. The salesman wrote up a bill of sale with different charges on it that amounted to an increase of price of almost $4000. Thats ridiculous. Ive bought several cars in my lifetime and dont appreciate being treated like a sucker. You have a great selection with all different price points for different budgets which is great. Unfortunately, I wont ever go back.

Awful customer service, went to test drive a 2018 Dodge journey, preceded to wait 20 minutes and finally the sales man comes back to us and informs us that the battery had died and they were replacing it.. So sketchy. Waited about 25 more minutes and then asked the front desk how it was going and was told they were doing another safety test that would be done in about 10 minutes. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited, and it still wasn’t ready. So after our hour + drive with a new baby we left. Absolutely ridiculous.

While we did not end up buying here, we had a very positive experience working with Florencio. We showed up without an appointment and had picked out 3 vehicles we wanted to take a look at. We looked at all 3 and test drove our favorite one. When we got back to the office, he was completely upfront with the car’s history with printouts of the Carfax. Even though we didn’t end up buying here, our experience with Florencio was professional, low-pressure, honest, and helpful.

I understand the car market is volatile and cars are expensive, but when we tried to haggle the price ($600 off a $11000 car) we were practically laughed out of the store by Sebastian the manager, who sarcastically told us hes now increading the price of the car. Despite this we were almost ready to buy until we read the bill: an extra $800 dollars in administration and lot fees. Note to the dealer: work your fees into the price of the car. Consumers: check your quote carefully, you are paying more than the listed price, as other reviewers have mentioned. On top of that, as someone who works in sales, I was floored at how utterly dismissive and rude the management was to us when we contested the additional charges. Would not recommend.

Definitely DO NOT add this dealership to your list of places to visit. I made an appointment to go look at a car (hour drive) and when I showed up was treated incredibly rude by the sales person who told me I needed to just but the car before he would show it to me because they would sell it to someone else if I didn’t. When I told him I wouldn’t buy without driving at the least he rudely walked off and came back 1 min later telling me it was in for service and had bad breaks and I couldn’t drive it. When I asked why they didn’t tell me that last week when I talked to them or today when I made the appointment he simply said it doesn’t matter you can’t drive it ... I called the Sales manager a d he simply defended the guy and seriously asked me to come back in 2 hours. Total joke and seriously rude people.

I came in on March 9 looking at a standard car as a replacement for an old car. I went in pretty disappointed that I would have to down grade my vehicle, but Evelyn helped me explore my options and managed to find me a better car still within my price range. She was very patient and understanding throughout the entire process and made the whole experience very fast and easy. I brought two cars from them in less than a month because that was how great and satisfied I was with their service. Evelyn was my sales lady and she definitely deserve to wear an S for superwoman on her chest. Primo the finance guy was great as well. I give them 5 stars and recommend them for your new or used car purchase.

Summary: Martin, who works on West Chicagos Sprinter vans, blatantly lied to me. I said I needed a clean title sprinter van with no accidents. He told me he had one and showed me the Carfax without any accidents (third image attached- photo from Martin). I had a 3rd party mechanic inspect the vehicle, and they found a few issues. I tried to talk to Martin about these issues but he blew up on me on the phone, so I walked away. The next day I found the van on eBay with an accident record showing structural damage or structural alteration. You can see the image of this attached.The more detailed story:Typically, Martin repairs totaled vehicles, then sells them. I told him I needed a van with a clean title and no accidents. He sent me the carfax for a 2016 Sprinter van w/ 78k showing no accidents. We worked together over a week period with lots of phone calls and texts because I had to fly into Chicago from Austin, TX to get the vehicle and drive it home. I build sprinter van conversions for a living, so I vet each vehicle I buy carefully.In Addison, I had a 3rd party mechanic (Rite Way Automotive) look at the vehicle, and he told me it was 50/50 whether it had been in an accident or not. They found 3 suspicious things: 4 major parts under the vehicle with paint pen marks indicating they had been replaced, one brand new headlight indicating the original could have been smashed in an accident, and fiberglass stuck against the underside of the hood. The mechanic suggested I ask Martin about these items.I asked Martin a few questions about these items over the phone. Each time I tried to speak, he cut me off claiming the mechanics didnt know what they were talking about and that he had no idea what I was talking about with these issues. Eventually, he said, look you either want the van or you dont. People who ask me all these questions end up being a problem for me later. Ill give you your deposit back, I dont care.After Martin yelled at me for several minutes, I quickly took the chance to get my deposit back and headed back to Austin.The next day, I restarted my search for a sprinter van and found Martins 2016 sprinter van on eBay with a report showing a reported accident and structural damage (see attached images). Based on this, Martin clearly lied to me and tried to bully me into purchasing the vehicle.Martin has some anger issues to work through. This is clear when you speak to him and ask any questions. Based on his honesty, I believe his is a low integrity individual too. If you buy a vehicle from this dealership, get an inspection from a third party. When I talked to the finance person from the dealership, he said, look, I dont know what to tell you. I just take care of the finances.I dont think they care about the individuals they sell to. They just want to sell cars and not deal with any of the sales, customer service, or follow up. This is a poor way to run a business.

They are a bunch of liers and thieves in suits. I dont recommend them at all. In addition, they charge $499 in destination fees, and $299 in lot fees which doesnt make sense. Its like going to 7 eleven to get a cold coke and they charge you 50 cent in storage fees and 20 cent in refrigeration fees. The employees and managers were very rude. I just recommend you to stay away from this place.

The price they advertise on the internet is not the price. When you get there you are presented with two additional fees that are NOT mandated or controlled by the state. A $499 Administration Fee and a $299 Lot Fee. If they just put add them into their price, I wouldnt have noticed or been concerned about them. First time in 30 years of buying cars that a dealer declined my offer, and took 30 minutes to do so.

The WORST possible place you could ever buy a car from. I bought a 2020 Toyota Camry on February 25th 2021 and not only was the asking price higher than previously stated, they gave me a huge interest rate even after having a co-signer with good credit. 2 months later I went through another dealer to refinance and they were in complete shock at my interest rate and the way I was financed. My interest rate went down over 10% and my monthly payments went down $100+. After refinancing I went back to West Chicago Auto Mall to get my money back from the gap warranty and they told me it’d take 21 days for my checks. It’s now been almost TWO MONTHS and I still have not received a check. Every time I call they give me the run around and transfer me to different people who know nothing about my situation or they just flat out hang up on me. These people will screw you over when buying a vehicle, do NOT waste your time here.

Sent multiple requests for out the door pricing with itemized fees for a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic.Lily told me she would get back to me in a moment and never hear from her.Did ask if i was a cash buyer and stopped communicating.Waste of time.Update... many hours laterThe response below from the owner is such a disgusting attitude from someone that wouldn’t answer any questions about fees or discrepancies in fees.They gave the same response to another negative review.

Drove an hour to this dealership to see a 2017 Ford Escape. Most of their lot is blocked off, probably so customers dont see the crashed cars they have in back. When trying to find a place to park, the salesman hollered across the lot that I could not park there, very rude. The cones were past the spot I was trying to park at. He went back and forth with me for a little bit about a parking spot. After finally finding another place to park, he walks up to me and asks how he could help me. He went to pull up the truck. It had to be jumped in order to turn in on. Once the truck showed up we notice the paint shine didnt match and the bolts in the hood no longer had paint. Decided to run a carfax and sure enough the truck had 2 reported accidents. Explains the abundance of crashed cars in back. If you decide to buy here PLEASE get yourself a carfax and keep your eyes open for unusual things.

GO BUY YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE! The general manager, Akash Pal is rude and obnoxious. He exerts his superiority with vulnerable customers. The car buying experience is stressful in itself, Akash makes it a lot worse. He expects you to automatically know about financing the average person wouldn’t. When asked about certain fees, he got himself into a mini uproar which triggered my daughter and husband into such a bewildered state of mind. We do not understand such hostility.I went with my daughter to look at a truck last week, Akash was curt and dismissive. I took into account it was the end of the day and maybe I misunderstood his personality. My husband and daughter went to purchase the truck today, Akasks demeanor was EXACTLY THE SAME, as it was when I went with our daughter. She purchased her first SUV there because there is a huge shortage of used cars in today’s market.

We bought our latest car from here and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The team of Sebastian, Przemek and Artur were attentive, courteous and helpful. We shopped during the COVID-19 pandemic and felt safe with everyone wearing masks and their location being clean and spacious. We had a senior citizen with us and they were beautifully accommodated to.Yes, this place was far away, but the competitive prices (we checked beforehand) made the hike worth it. We test drove several vehicles without a problem and never felt rushed nor were there any “sleazy” sales tactics applied.We also did our research for financing beforehand and came prepared, so we knew what we could expect from their financing department. Indeed, what we were quoted was absolutely on par with what we got from elsewhere.We are very happy with our purchase and our experience at the West Chicago Auto Mall and would highly recommend them!!
