I have an E39 BMW with over 245k miles, Had some complex issues with the drive train and computer modules. They were diagnosed and repaired quickly and cheaper than I expected. I rarely write bad/good reviews, but this place really impressed me. I have searched long and hard for a mechanic that just knows these cars, and Stan (and his team) know BMWs, thats for sure. Not only that, they show you whats wrong (in my case, look what happens when we spin this CV joint, and not just take my word for it type of thing.

I have been a customer of Strictly Foreign for many years now. There is no one more knowledgeable about BMWs than Stan. My first experience was years ago after buying a used 540i M-Sport. The instrument panel kept showing a check engine warning light. My former mechanic changed spark plugs, changed wires, changed O2 sensors then gave up... he referred me the dealership to get the engine on their elite computer analyzer. The dealership said I needed two catalytic converters---- very pricy! I took their information and left, went back to my mechanic and got two cats, but not from the dealer. Still spent a small fortune. Then got may car back and just a few days later, had that check engine light on yet again! Ugh! Now more than $2500 into fixing something and still having the same thing happening. I was referred by someone in passing to take the car to Stan at Strictly Foreign. I finally made the phone call. After recapping the things that had occurred to date, Stan simply said it is the coils. He explained that the car had individual coils for each cylinder and that each time the previous mechanic pulled plugs and wires, he did not put them back in the same place. Thus, diagnostic info was different at each reading. He was absolutely correct! The car never had that warning light again. I drove the car to over 160,000 miles under his care, then sold it to a friend who drove it to 250K miles. Stan maintains my wifes SL 500 that, despite its age, only has 60K miles, and now maintains my newer BMW M5, and my sons older, highly modified 525is (an M5 clone). You wont find a better mechanic for German cars. And he does American cars too! My biggest positive comment is that he is not a mechanic who simply changes parts, again and again, until he eventually solves the problem. Quite the opposite! He diagnoses the problem and fixes it the first time!!! That kind of knowledge is hard to find. You have that at his shop. I highly recommend Stan and Luke. John Newton

Been there a few times with my BMW 325i and never had a issue repeat itself. Im usually skeptical about places that arent the dealership but this is the ONLY place I trust for a foreign car. I felt good the moment I got there and saw only foreign cars at the building.
