They gave me honest advice. And they didnt try to rip me off

It was my 1st time there and it was a nice experience. I had read some negative reviews prior to going there and I can only tell you they are unfounded. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent and the prices were very fair. I would recommend them to anybody as they were very knowledgeable and very helpful.

I reluctantly came here because i had no other choice given short notice of my air conditioners freon going out and no one carries the r1234yf. from the second i called, i knew it was going to be a headache, beginning when i asked the price and was told i should just come bring it in and we can talk about the price after. whether they were joking or not, that comes off sleazy. i have a three week old baby and he cannot take driving in this heat. while the service was fast, and i got my truck back that night, less than two weeks later my freon went out again. mind you, this new stuff is not cheap. it costs nearly $500 for a recharge! i called and asked if they had the dye kit to detect freon leaks, which they did not. they said they had a sniffer, which is not the correct tool to detect these leaks. so i had to spend another $500 on a freon recharge and a condenser, which is what shouldve been done in the first place. how do you miss a leak in the condenser if youre supposedly a certified ac tech? i went back in today to ask how i go about getting my money back and the person at the desk, i believe his name is ken, literally laughed! i couldnt believe it. how is that funny? he said how are we supposed to know if theres a freon leak if theres no freon? i said i brought it somewhere else and they ran a uv light through it, before the dye kit, to show me where the leak was. he said well i couldve done that, too. well if that were the case, why am i filling up my freon again in two weeks?! i asked do youjust always go by a $500 trial and error, and they have someone do another recharge after you cant find it? on top of that, its illegal to have a customer leave with a leak and release freon into the air! i told him dont bother, i would just write to corporate, to which he responded we arent a part of corporate. i cannot believe the poor service i received after i was a paying customer. this is the shady stuff that makes people nervous about going to bring their cars in. not once did they try to resolve my issue or even talk about making things right for letting me leave with a leak, it was just an argument. the fact that you laugh at someone after they got work done, given the circumstances, is sickening. below are the pictures of my old condenser, where you can clearly see where it leaked. you couldve seen this through the grill. there was zero effort put into this. just a quick way to get my money and hopefully more.

Jon was friendly and very knowledgeable on all the services Firestone has to offer. He was honest and helpful! Service was speedy for brakes, wheel alignment and tires! If you need work done you have to go see Jon! Plus is his awesome haircut.

Inconsistent liars that will find whatever way to not honor a warranty that they can. Avoid this place at all costs. They change their story to take the most advantage of you that they possibly can when in emergency situations.

This is really a great place. Not only is this staff exceptional but so are their mechanics. They dont try to sell you on extras or services you dont need!

SOMETHING SIMPLE TAKES 3-4 HRS.... VERY TORTOISE SLOW SERVICE...

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I spent 3 hours waiting to fix a flat tire. I understand that theyre busy and he did say it might take a while to fix, but after waiting almost an hour just to get it inside the garage that was a little much and then for it to take 2 hours for a simple flat tire fix and to swap out the spare with the fixed tire is just ridiculous! It doesnt help that the guy at the counter is not friendly at all and gave me attitude when I stated my concern for the time spent waiting. I will never be coming back here and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would rather drive an hour into Chicago to my old tire shop.

This place has Attitude problems, specially RICK at the desk, who never looks happy .I was there today for basic oil change but I will never go back again .I did follow up with store manager Ben and try to explain what happen, but he was protecting his co worker .This place is no longer under the Firestone management and they are own by some private party, thats why they have no customer relation service so they can do whatever they want .If you ever go there make sure you ask Twice about the prices and check you oil filter and level of your oil .I will never go back again .

Amazing people skills. They were very friendly very informative and reasonable. One of the best people skills places I have ever been to. I will definitely be going back over and over.

Both times Ive used them, they took me in on the weekend. Diagnosed my car problem and called me in an hour. Great folks!

We went there to look into my tire light that was on . No flat tire. Just My Tire check light. He took 1 hour to check the one tire, then tells me there is no leak in the tire but some side wall damage and all 4 tires needed to be changed. Weird thing is my tire looked worse and somewhat shredded then when I brought it in. I just told him to put the spare and took it somewhere else . The other place was puzzled at what the tire looked like. Did they do something to the tire??? The car is only 2 years old and the other tire guy said the remaining tires looked good.

I will never recommend anyone to this location. All i wanted was 2 tiers .I was told i will have you out in 45 minutes been waiting for 3 1/2 hrs .never again i will come here. There goes my Saturday

This establishment deserves a negative star review. I usually go to the one in Lemont since they do stellar work, they were booked until Sunday. Called this one no wait. I understand why, terrible customer service and they didnt even tell me what service they were doing. Never going back to this one even if it was my last resort.

DO NOT take your car here. These people are rude and do not know anything about customer service, specially someone named Rick that works there. The service is horrible and this place is way overpriced . DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and simply take your car somewhere else, it will save you a bad experience.

Went there on Sunday for mounting the summer wheels. Now just realize they damage the right side car skirt because of improper lifting. Be aware of the unprofessional.

Fast service...

I know nothing about car. Drop my car and ask them just check everything. They charge me $550 for changing the tire and so on. Two days later, my engine went wrong. I just drove like two miles in these two days. They told me the coil need change. Another $750. Would never ever go there again. I asked them why after two days my car went wrong. They said they dont know. Unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very rude, and very expensive. I have went there want because one of my lug nuts would not come out with me, they charged me $20. It took them to do it .5 sec.

I actually drive from where I live in Tinley Park (where there are two Firestones nearby) to Westmont. The service certainly wasnt bad in Tinley, but Rick the service manager in Westmont gives me superior service and checks for any specials that are available, alerts me to what needs to be done, when to do it, always very helpful,pleasant and worth the drive., I recommend that shop to many of my friends.

Called in to make an appointment, said first come first serve anytime by 4pm.. Arrived at 14:00 for basic tire change and was told by rude receptionist to come back other day because he dont think it can be done before they close.
